United Community Bank W Main St, Brevard

I've banked there for over three years so far. I have both a business and a personal checking account. One of the main reasons I chose this bank is because every time I walk through the door I am greeted with smiles and hellos. It's definitely got that small-town feel. No stuffy formal environment. Once, I underfunded an account for a check and they covered me for a day without charging me. They have also called me when they thought a check was suspicious and I'm looking at having my credit cards processed through them right now because I have a good working relationship with them. One other thing that I like is that they notarize things for me quickly and with no charge which saves me money and time.

My daughter is trying to get a loan at UCB. They pre-approved her and later constantly came up with new and time consuming hoops to jump through to get the loan.They are VERY SLOW to respond and have to go to GA to get information from their underwriters. They blame the GA location, I wonder who the GA location blames. Any small change in the real estate contract can start the whole lengthy process over. UCB probably will drag this out so long my daughter will lose the house and her money down to the sellers. We have constantly told them this but UCB just does not seem to CARE! Go somewhere else, anywhere else. They are terrible!

I really appreciate that every time I call in - Tina recognizes me - and always helps with whatever i need. Also - i realized today that i made a deposit - and missed including one check on the deposit slip - and sure enough y'all caught the error and made it right. Thank you so much for the kind, professional, and detail oriented service.

The folks at the Main St office are amazing! Always smiling and eager to help. Tina has been extremely helpful to me in numerous occasions.
