United Check Cashing - Folcroft Delmar Dr, Folcroft

Stiffed me on $30.84 for a fee on a money order. The cashier told me to accept the transaction for the money order and she would cancel it. After accepting and paying the large sum. The cashier told me that the machine will not let her change the transaction and she explained the situation like she knew whatbwas going on. I would not recommend a place that outright lies to the consumer to get money from them.

Donna was extremely rude , I did not understand what she was saying she refused to cash my check , super unprofessional. She was cocky, literally had me in tears because of how disrespectful she was to me. She has no respect for others. Extremely poor customer service. I wanted to purchase a money order also. But I will NEVER enter this establishment again because of Donna. She’s a miserable woman & needs to work on her customer service skills.

Not very convenient when they're only open on Fridays now. Been going there religiously every week for 15 years. WILL NEVER give them my business again!

I received a check through my retirement fund. I needed the cash, on hand, right away so I did not want to place it in my bank. At first, I went to the location in Morton, on 420. I walked in, to see a woman behind the counter, just glaring at me. (Now, this is my first time ever, walking into a check cashing place) I was already a little anxious, and to add to it, I had a very unpleasant woman who was about to wait on me. I slid my check under the glass, to only get a response of “ Wait, where do you even work. What’s this check for ? We can’t cash this here, I already called someone earlier. You have to go to the bank who wrote the check. “ The closest bank that wrote the check is all the way out in King of Prussia. I was feeling pretty bummed. That experience was not as easy as advertised on their site. I drove to folcroft because I knew I’ve seen a check cashing place. I figured this would be my last shot at cashing it before I had to figure out what to do. I pulled up not even realizing they were another US check cashing location, and immediately was bummed, but figured what the hell, I’d give it one more shot. Your employee Donna was sitting behind the glass, and was extremely approachable, and made me feel comfortable instantly. When I say Donna took care of me and had cash in my hand within 8 mins, I am not even joking. She was absolutely phenomenal. She called the bank where my check was cut from, to have them just confirm that they did write this check and yes the money was legit. That was it. A thirty second phone call that the other woman was to lazy to do. Donna is the only reason I am giving 5 stars. She’s phenomenal and I will be back. But only to this location! Thanks again Donna. You saved the day to say the least :)

Went in this store this morning. The lady working the window was so kind and helpful. I went in there to cash my check but because it was older than 2 weeks so she wasn’t able to cash it, but pointed me in the right direction since it was my first time cashing a check. Now that I know not to hold a check I will be back.

The lady at the counter is rude, as I approached the window she was on her phone and I had to wait until she was finished whatever she was doing to get a money order. I will wait in the post office line before I ever step foot in there again. Poor customer service, not a hello , no eye contact no have a good day...

Bruh, I traveled, by walking, an hour to get to check my paycheck in and the woman, when I asked for a request to cash my check in, at the front desk was on the phone with someone saying she was ready to quit her job. Yeah, her attitude and posture needs to be adjusted.. She wasted my time.

This store was closest from my company. Dropped by here to cash a check. They said the check looks like fake and they don't wanna cash it. The check was my pay check and everyone in our company get same pay checks. IF they think its a fake check, they really have to verify the check. Nope. visiting here? its waste of time.
