United Bank Covington St, Jackson

Always such a welcoming experience each time I visit my bank. By far the best customer service from the tellers, loan managers, and even the president, of any bank we've done business with. Thank you for providing Jackson with the best banking service.

I normally don’t write negative posts about an organization, but I think it’s important to share my experience with this bank and the personnel. I submitted an application for an SBA loan. I was lied to for three months by the SBA loan officer who stated that my loan was moving and getting the necessary approvals required for funding. Months later, I learned that the bank had zero intentions on approving my loan. I honestly felt as an African American/ Veteran business owner I was completely discriminated against. The Managment showed no sensitivity to the loss of funds I incurred as a result of the lies and poor advisement by their SBA loan officer. This is not a knock against the bank, I’m sure there are great people that work there. However, the loan officer and Managment must do better!

Terrible customer service!!! Went in to make a payment on a loan and they said they could only accept a check or cash. I never carry either. They said I could go outside and use their ATM for cash but there would be a fee. Unbelievable.

As of 1-25-21 they are forcing all commercial accounts to come Into the lobby for deposits. When I called to express that everyone in my home is high risk for COVID and coming into the lobby was a Unnecessary risk the bank managers response was that the tellers were also at risk of me. I’m not sure how telling me they are not worried about their customers or employees health and safety was suppose to help but she did try to walk that statement back when I called her on it. The tellers have always been helpful at this location but from this experience alone and reading other reviews from customers it seems the management is in dire need of replacement.

Thank you for being so friendly and kind when we visit. With everything going on in this world it is a nice change to be welcomed into a business and feel like they truly want you there. Keep up the awesome work.

I live in Forsyth and work in Griffin but I bank in Jackson, and have so for years!! The people there are ALWAYS so helpful and friendly, they always have a smile on their face and are always so willing to help. They really make you feel like you matter. Thanks to you all for what you do!

Terrible service, mortgage lenders dont seem to know what they are doing, they took 1 month to finalize a prequalification when normally it takes 24 hours with any lender, if you are looking to build your home this will not be the lender to go .

40 minutes in line to get to a machine that is jammed and then sit in line again to wait another 15 minutes at a screen that says they are all busy. Absolutely unacceptable customer service I don’t know what happened this used to be a good bank now it’s a good waste of time

Manager let costumer service assault a costumer and deny service and he himself today gave me the clear impression he don't care about War Veterans who deal with PTSD. He also state he "doesn't recall intimidate the costumer" but he also doesn't know if there is a tape where you can see the altercation because "he doesn't deal with those things". He also didn't deny they discriminate based on religion. And told me "if you don't like the way we do things, I will be glad to cut you a check and you and your husband doesn't need to come here again... simple". I can see this man feel in high authority while dealing with a latino woman who only have an account to get her paycheck every month. But let me tell you Mr. Sowell... little people like us are the ones who support small community busines and I want everyone to know how you treat War Veterans and minorities in this town.
