Union Savings Bank Madison Rd, Cincinnati

I completed application for a refi in November of 2021. Bob Winters was my contact person. Within 3 weeks the process moved so smoothly that the appraiser completed his work by thanksgivings. Through email, Bob confirmed next step to take place through December. In January I made contact with Bob via email to check on status of application. He said he was looking into it. From January- March , 2022, I emailed Bob several times. I called for his supervisor , only to be consistently patched into his voicemail. I sent messages through the document portal, which had 5 other people on it that could have responded. This man never responded to any or my efforts. US Bank never responded on his behalf and till this day , I have not heard a word regarding my application or what has become of my information. I have never engaged such an unprofessional, rude, and unresponsive financial institution ever in my life. If you are considering any type of service from US savings and loans, run run run. Especially if your service person is Bob Winters.

Aaron was very thorough throughout the entire process. We had a quick close and were guided through the process. This was our first home purchase and we felt confident the entire time. He is also very responsive and was able to answer all questions quickly. I would recommend Aaron to friends and family!

This bank is quite possibly the most incompetent and dumbest bank in the whole world. Unfortunately, my mortgage is with them and I needed a mailing address change on my account. I have now been on the phone for 2 hours being transferred around to every department and then end up getting somebody's voicemail. This bank is stuck in the 1920s in terms of technology. STAY AWAY!!!

Nick Adam was clear, precise and to the point. He answered all our questions promptly. We have used Nick in the past and would highly recommend him to all our friends and family.

Ms. Kleinschmidt is excellent at what she does and was very helpful throughout the refinancing process.

I would not recommend Union Savings Bank. It took 5 months to close our refinance. There were many periods of time where no one would respond to us, despite multiple calls and emails. There was never any explanation given as to why this took so long. The bank also held the appraisal for weeks, despite multiple requests that it be provided. Finally they produced it because there was no valid reason for them to withhold it. Then, one month after we closed on the loan we were informed our home owner's insurance policy was terminated because the bank never sent the money over to the insurance company. We pay into escrow for this. I ended up having to pay 2 months of premium to the insurance company to reinstate the policy while the bank figures this out. Worst experience, and as soon as we can refinance again and get the hell away from this bank, we will. Borrower beware.

Bob was able to get us re-fi'd at a great rate even though I had recently lost my job - he's a creative problem solver, for sure! The process was smooth and his communication was excellent. It was the easiest re-fi we've ever done and we've done several. I'd highly recommend Bob!

Do not go with this bank. We were supposed to close on our house last week and now have no closing date. I want to cry right now I’m so livid with this bank. They don’t answer calls or emails. The appraisal dept. messed up and took well over a week to even answer, which took both my husband and I calling to find out what was going on. Our lease is up at the end of the month and it isn’t looking hopeful that we’ll even been closing by then, which is stressful enough before you factor in that we have a 2.5 and a 7 month old.

Very good experience with the re-financing our mortgage with Union Saving Bank. Everything went smoothly with go glitches.
