Uncommon Care Bitter Melon Dr, Angier

Uncommon care is a great name for this facility. I don't like leaving bad reviews but definitely bad experience. Office staff was very rude and I have never been charged so much for a simple Dr visit. Two months later and thy are still sending me bills in the mail, for an upper respiratory infection and perception for Sudafed I'm up to almost $300 not counting what insurance paid. Will not return and will not recommend.

They are very nice, move quickly, and accurately! Definitely will be coming back! You can tell they have a passion for truly helping people!

As far as clinics I have used, they are better than average. Staff is usually friendly and try to help. They are not technically advanced as some but they get the job done. Rarely busy and fairly clean.

Dr was nice other than that I’ll be going somewhere else next time.

**This review is for Uncommon Care, Ten-Ten Road**Driving home, I got sick and light headed. Drove up to this urgent care expecting the same as any urgent care I've ever been to. Needless to say, they went above and beyond my expectations. They acted quickly, made sure my husband had been notified, and ensured my two year old who was with me that everything would be okay. All of this while they dealt with not one, but two other walk in emergencies. In all the years I've been going to urgent care's, this one is the best. I plan to go back when needed for sure. Also, when I went to pick up my insurance paperwork, it was ready for me and the nurses recognized me and asked how I was doing. The receptionist had my paperwork ready and was so friendly! So personable and great bedside manner. I can't recommend this location enough! Also, this location is newly renovated, clean and very organized.

So blessed to be back near Uncommon Care. Dr. Tripp is a gem and so compassionate. I was under his care years ago and I have never found a doctor that comes close to him. His bedside manner, kindness and genuine empathy are rare to find. All the other staff have been wonderful to me as well. I'm so grateful for the care I receive from this practice.

Finding Uncommon Care was a blessing to me. I’ve never felt so loved. From Renee at the front desk to Dr. Tripp and Assistant Brandon. This place was/is amazing. These people truly care about their patients. I’ve had so many issues through the years. I’ve seen SO many doctors in my life and I’ve never in my life felt so loved the day I went to Uncommon Care. If you can see Dr. Tripp, please see him. He will treat you like gold and you’ll be blown away because regular doctors want to just shove you in and out. He is not just any regular doctor. He actually cares! I wish every place could be like this. Maybe the medical profession wouldn’t get such a bad name. Thank you to everyone at Uncommon Care. God bless every single one of you.

Place is a Covid testing scam. Charging an extra $100 dollars for a rapid test over a PCR which should be the other way around if anything. The PA who saw me never even gave his name and suggested a BRAT diet which has been medically outdated for at least a decade. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away

I took my sister in to get checked out because she's been sick and today was the first truly bad experience I have had with this urgent care and it will be the last I ever have. The lady at the front desk was rude and seemed like she wanted nothing more than for me to go away. The wait to be seen by a doctor here has always been long but today it was just ridiculous, especially considering there were not many patients there at all. When we were finally taken back, the nurse acted like she didn't know how to take my sister's blood pressure and the doctor that saw us wasn't even wearing her mask properly, which makes it useless. Later, while my sister was in the bathroom, I heard the nurse complaining and gossiping about us with the doctor, while the door to our room was wide open and I could hear everything. The icing on the cake was that I had to ask for my sister's flu and COVID results, as the doctor was walking out the door. If I hadn't done so, neither she nor the nurse would have let us know what the results were. And of course, we were ignored when we were leaving by the receptionist. I will not be going back here and I will tell everyone else thinking about going there to skip it and go somewhere else because it's ridiculous to go to a place that takes forever only to be treated like dirt when you're finally seen.

I have been going to this facility for over 10 years and never treated the way I was treated today. As A Retired Army Veteran of 20 years of Service , I recommend that if you are considering going to this facility for medical attention please reconsider. I was also told by the manager Debra Friends that I should feel privileged that Tricare is accepted, as though it is a government welfare program. I was unable to speak with the PA Glenn Tripp, even after staying I would be willing to wait or catch him in between Patients. I am very disappointed in the way I was treated at this facility and feel that others should be warned. I hated to pull away from this Clinic because Glenn has been and excellent PA.
