Umpqua Bank S Pearl St, Tacoma

All the 1 star reviews here are accurate. This place is NO good. Some employees are good others are bad. I also don't get this thing where they shut down the whole bank for one hour. I finally make some time to come here and have to deal with them shutting down the entire bank for one hour. If it's lunch then this doesn't make any sense. I don't know any business that shuts down completely for lunch. I miss Rainer pacific bank!

Came here to pull out a larger sum of cash. Waited about 10 minutes for the whole process. Was almost done with my cash advanced (they ran my card) when the manager came over and wouldn’t allow me to take the whole sum because I wasn’t a member. As a USAA member with no bank fronts it surprises me that a company like this isn’t more supportive and willing to work with an active duty military family. I recommend Harborstone. They apologized for the experience I had with Umpqua and I walked out with my cash in 2 minutes.

There rates are 3 stars? It should be 1 This branch underminds customers wishes. My Grandmother put me in charge of her information and the staff let there childhood friends (Son, Daughter) Get my Grandmother's information without her permission. I had a account with this branch and they closed my account because they didn't understand e-commerce business.

I have no experience banking with Umpqua but I went in there to get a cash advance from a out if state bank, but their cash advance machine was down. Matt used two different phones to call multiple other banks to ensure we were taken care of and we werent even customers. Bank with Matt.

Disrespectful, rude of you are not a main customer of theirs. I do business accounting once a week for a client, they don't recognize repeating customers. Do not like to explain things. I was going to open an account there. Will have to try a different location to see if better. If not, no account.

We got some of what we needed taken care of but every single member we talked to (3!) was passive aggressive or apathetic and dismissive as if we were stupid, when 2/3 people couldn’t even handle our issues because they didn’t understand the processes and told us to call the online support to handle our needs instead.

Friendly service with a smile. Eager to help and take care of each customers unique needs. Nice clean branch with coffee, internet access, kids activity table and even dog bones and water for our puppies. Two large display cases full of interesting hand blown glass creations made by talented local artists in the community - all available for purchase.

We went in to ask a question regarding notarizing a paper for our elderly friend. They couldn't do it in the end, but were rude and dismissive instead of explaining. We tried to ask questions about it and were told "that's just the way we do it." Usually, I like Umpqua and their employees. I was very upset with our interaction. If I were you, I would drive to Proctor and skip this location. The drive is worth it.

These are some of the friendliest people! If everyone was as kind as these folks…. It would be a great world.

Everyone at this location is absolutely wonderful. They are always so helpfuI. They have assisted us with numerous transactions over the last few months and have always been so patient and friendly everytime we walk-in or call the branch.
