Awful service... and when I asked to speak with a manager, the teller claimed he was on vacation. Later on in the conversation she then claimed that the branch didn't have a manager (which I find hard to believe after she stated he was on vacation). My overall experience was awful service followed by lies.

This Umpqua STORE so called. is in reality something of an animal house. They are located on Pacific hwy. near the town of Phoenix . Or. There is no effective customer service and the staff are trained to look the other way if you need help with the service or lack there of. The staff including the so called branch manager are generally rude and often downright vulgar. .. Believe me if you enter this branch you are on your own and subject to insult and nasty behavior . Unless you are someone easily impressed with free coffee or a news paper to read this store is a very big step down for anyone having a modicum of self respect. The other stores in the area are somewhat easier to deal with but on balance it's wiser never to have any relationship with this so called bank. My best advice to you is to try a local credit union. The Rogue Federal credit Union is one such place to do business with. A credit Union can do anything a commercial bank can do only better, cheaper and more honestly. The only difference between Umpqua Bank and criminals like wells Fargo and B of A is that they do their scams behind close doors and the public doesn't see much of it going on. Umpqua relies on the abject stupidity of their hayseed customer base to pull of their tricks in the banking business. Free coffee and tellers especially hired to relate to the customer base of hayseeds is only part of their big act as the Greatest Bank in the world Horsepucky!
