Ulster Savings Bank Saugerties

After the recent electrical outage in Ulster County, Jean at the Saugerties branch helped me untangle a banking problem that resulted from a utility bill. She took the time to really explain and get the problem corrected. The outage had been very stressful and difficult, but this Ulster employee made the aftermath much more manageable for me. I am very grateful for her assistance.

I went in to open my first business account and had a wonderful experience. It being the first time I naturally felt intimidated until Tom made it as simple and as fun as possible. I’ve never had such a positive experience at any bank before. I will definitely be moving my other accounts to Ulster

I opened my first account at this branch in 2016 and my experience has been nothing short of spectacular—banking here is friendly and personal. You feel as though your business really matters. Jean, Debra, and Rhonda have each been so helpful to me on several occasions. I have since moved all my banking needs to Ulster Savings. I want to be known as a person, not a number, and this branch really does it for me. :-)

Well I see a few bad reviews but no one ever takes the time to write a good review. Any of these bad reviews are not the norm. I have been banking here for over 10 years, I don't have any problems. I feel everyone here knows me and they are all professional but treat you like family. I have never had a problem cashing a check or paying a bill or having transactions credited to my account. Don't let a few bad apples who write reviews when they are having a bad day make your mind up for you. I have recommended this bank to a lot of people and still do and will continue in the future.

Tom was wonderful while we opened a business account. He is very friendly and made the whole process very easy.

I want to give an Ulster Savings Bank associate in the Saugerties branch a shout out today! My family and I are long time customers of Ulster Savings and will continue to do so. We are always greeted with a smile, whether in the lobby or the drive thru, by Jean! She is quick and thorough, yet engages in conversation. She keeps us informed with new services or options to benefit my family. She also lets us know of community activities that Ulster Savings is involved in so that we may participate. She really is great and an asset to Ulster Savings!

I love these guys. They make you feel like family. They know your name when you come in. And today, I went in with 5 years of piggy bank change for my son and was struggling to get it all wrapped up. The whole team pitched in and helped.

I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS. The Manager, Debra Bosch, has ZERO customer service skills. Why did I walk in the other morning at 9:15 am, when the bank opens at 9 am, to find the tellers STILL counting money and doing their morning open? THEN, I was told I just needed to wait while they finished their morning routines. Debra couldn't have been MORE unhelpful, the tellers of course didn't think this was an issue. That's why you're supposed to get there early! I will NEVER go back there. I will tell EVERYONE I know to not go there and Ulster Savings should be ASHAMED to employ these people, ESPECIALLY DEBRA BOSCH. #DEBRABOSCHSHOULDBEFIRED

Staff always friendly and always willing to help. Been banking here for years. Been other places in the past and wouldn’t go anywhere else in the future. I recommend to everyone that asks.
