U.S. Money Shops Dunlap

I took in several high end watches to sale. Was offered $25 dollars for a watch that on Ebay goes for $593 and new runs around $950. This isn't the first time this place tried to cheat me. If I wanted to be insulted I would have called my ex-wife. I wouldn't have brought anything here but I am going through a rough spell financially. I pawned an AR-15 here once for $100 and they said I could get it back easily. I returned on payday to find out I had to have a background check to get my own firearm that I had bought legally and the background check came back with a hold the state after I argued gave them the go ahead and then they still wouldn't let me have it. The guy had told me if I didn't get it back he would have it in his collection so I'm sure I know why I couldn't get it back. This place is a bunch of crooks and should be shut down.

I usually have great experience at this shop in Dunlap. Today was a different story and did not care for the guy whom tried to accuse me of peeling off a price sticker after I asked him where the price was on a pool cue I was looking to make a deal on. He's asked another employee how to look for a price and he pointed to the floor where a box that came with the cue was that had the price tag that "I peeled off." I got no apologies for his mistake. When I made the statement to my father "they want 500 for the cue, that's new price" the guy got smart and said actually that cue is $1000 new, When in fact it's not. It's 580 give or take new. I know this because I'm huge into billiards and know my stuff, and insulted my intelligence in a field I'm familiar with. Anyways, I did not like his attitude to start and made me feel like I was a p.o.s. he lost a sale and a customer.

Prices here are outrageous. I bought a used knife set for 25 bucks and went to mennonites later that week and they had the same set but new for 15.99.

Wow, thought things were going pretty good, I brought in 4 flat screens I didn't need. I was told 136.00, I said ok didn't need them. She asked for the manager to be able to get my cash, it then went down to 75.00. Asked why the big diff. Manager said this clerk was newer and they would not give that much,cause Wal-Mart sells them so cheap.. OK... I said since I was given a price of 136 at lease kinda split it with me and give 100. No way she replyed.. I took the 75 because I really didn't need them and they were in my way stored in my garage, and a course it was raining. What I learned was that even that additional 25 they would not give, is a small amount of money to have Learned to stay out of the dunlap U.S. money pawn shop. I will always be happy to tell this story forever.. Buyers & Sellers BEWARE!!!!! Watch out for bait and switch dealings

I have ALWAYS had a GREAT experience EVERYTIME that I have been in shopping the STAFF has ALWAYS been VERY PROFESSIONAL and VERY FRIENDLY and have ALWAYS went ABOVE and BEYOND to answer any questions and been EXTREMELY HELPFUL AT ALL TIMES. SO FOR THE GREAT EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE HAD VISITING THIS STORE. I AM GIVING THE DUNLAP CREW A FIVE STAR. KEEP UP THE HARD WORK AND GREAT JOB GUYS & GALS YOUR CUSTOMERS

They have a First Act Guitar that is not worth $50 listed for $300. I got no help while there.

Brought my computer in...needed money to go see my grandmother who is passing away...they treated me horrible..offered me 75...what?..so I brought it to the same name pawn shop in another town and was treated very well and got 175..100 over what they offered..crazy..done business with them before but something has changed and they are just trying to rip people off..take your stuff down 111 to the next town..better people and fair trading..

They don't even deserve one star you know it's sad when u make your payments and they put your stuff on the floor and say you didnt I wouldnt not recommended this place to someone I hated
