    U.S. Bank Branch Reviews

U.S bank is a very frustrating place to bank. I personally bank at Chase. The gals that work there are all nice enough BUT, 9 times out of 10 your wait for service is slow as molasses. The last 5 times I've had to make a deposit there the first thing I'm greeted with is Sorry for the wait. That should be the motto at the Ephrata US Bank is we will make you wait, but then we'll apologize when you finally get service, so, Sorry for the wait. On top of that they can't even split a deposit, they use to be able to and all other banks can but not Ephrata US Bank anymore.

    Response from the owner

Hello Willis, thanks for taking your time to share your experience. I know how frustrating long wait times can be and I'm sorry for any inconvenience. I hope you were able to get the assistance you were needing. For your convenience, many transactions can be completed digitally, 24 hours a day. This can be done by using Zelle on Chase.com or their bill pay service to deposit money into one of our customer's accounts. I hope this helps and that you have a great day. ^Larisa

Gone are the days of Peggy and old school bankers that actually got out of the chair and fixed things. This is now a bank of corporate drones wasting your time and pretending it’s service and while saying “I understand your frustration.” like pre recorded bots.

    Response from the owner

Hello Gavin, we thank you for taking the time out to express your feedback with your recent experience. I am personally one of those people who believe in the saying, "If it ain't broke, then don't fix it." I also believe that it means more in being personal and not scripted, vs. telling the customer what they may or may not want to hear. if there is anything that we can do to rectify your sentiment, then please send your phone and reference number 1324 to [email protected]. Either myself or one of my peers will be happy to contact you directly. Hope to hear from you soon. ^Chris

Yes, we remember Peggy--one of the old-school bankers. We too found these "new" bankers lacking, and closed our account. Won't be opening any time soon, either. There is just no excuse for treating your Loyal", "Valued" customers like that. They should take lessons from the retired bankers. But such is the norm for anyone under 50, it seems. "Just gimme my paycheck right now!!" Sad--good-bye.

terrible service. Line of people out the door and they've got one teller working. They have I don't know what handful of windows not open. if there's a full lobby of people in there, needs to be all hands on deck.
