BEWARE!!! This bank will hold back ATM and Credit card purchases in hope you will over draw your account. They play other tricks but this is the one I do not like the most. They only do it in month my account is low and the chance is good they can trick me in this manner to feel like I have more money than I do. This month I have an ATM purchase for $137.xx at a truck stop that has taken a week so far to post. 100% chance that it will post if I take the account down low enough so they can charge me a fee or on the 3rd when I get my SSA money. This is not ethical and if this bank needs to do tricks like this, its best to just stay away!!!!!! Reply to reply: Like I said you are the only bank that this happens with and it is not ethical!!!!!

Was profiled by the manager. When you agree to pay your turbo tax fees from your tax refund then the IRS transfers your money over to a third party to handle this. Civista Bank is one of the main banks they use for this. Well normally when you agree to pay it this way when you request a direct deposit, which was my situation, I however accidentally missed 1 number on my routing number so when civista Bank went to transfer me my funds it bounced back, this then caused civista bank to issues me a cashiers check via mail. When I went in to cash this check I feel as if I was profiled, despite the check even being verified by this branch the manager still felt it was a fake check because he had never seen a tax refund come like this lol! Despite me even trying to explain this situation to him which anyone can verify on the IRS website that that is how it works he refused fine I’ll Go elsewhere, but Because his branch had verified my check it made it difficult to cash it elsewhere, especially because the manager refused to answer any phone calls regarding the check just to confirm it had been verified by his branch, because he so strongly felt it was fake because he wasn’t familiar with the bank LOL. I have since been able to cash my check through Bank Of America who gave me absolutely zero trouble didn’t profile me and whom I will be doing all my future banking with! US Bank sucks!
