U.S. Bank Branch Reviews

The tellers are friendly, I just don't understand why banks operate at the hours that they do. Would it not make more sense to have banks open prior to average work hours and a little after also? Not 30 minutes after a person's work day started lol. I just don't understand the sense in having to sit to wait to give my money to a bank that just reinvests it through fractional economics, and I don't see a dime of what they make from that lol. I have been here for 20 minutes to just deposit a check. That should not have taken that long....you just opened. The worst part, I am behind another vehicle, they were the first and they have been waiting 12 minutes at least. Is this going to be an hour wait for a check to be deposited? Why not have hours 7 to 7 on weekdays, and on Saturdays 1 to 3. Sundays, 🤷🏽‍♂️ If this is my only option in Joplin for USB, I think I may consider other options.

I deposited my check and was told I should have $200 available right away but the other amount will still be pending. I agreed because I was reassured. Red flags should of went up when the teller just rushed through it all. It was Saturday morning. Nothing available and I cannot call the bank back until Monday! I even called the 1(800) number and was told that they cannot help me. I would have to call the branch that deposited my check! The branch that you deposit your money is responsible for making your money available. Very upset at this point! Wouldn't even give them one star if there was that option!

Ever since the branch on East 32nd Street closed US Bank service sucks. The branch on 32nd and Main has the worst and slowest service ever. I have been a customer for 12 years and will be finding another bank. Their decision to close that branch was horrible it was the best branch they had for fast and friendly service. I guess once they closed it they decided to put up curtains at the other so we couldn’t see how poorly staffed that branch is. Shame in you US Bank.

Horrible service, only 1 teller working during lunch time. Never greets people entering. Been with them 18 years, service was much better back then but all those great people are gone. Very sad!
Hello Thomas, We are so sorry to hear you had a less than satisfactory experience during your recent visit to your local branch. If you would like to speak with a customer care representative you are welcome to do so by calling 1.800.USBANKS. Kind regards, The U.S. Bank Social Media Team

The worst customer service in Joplin and don't ask the bank manager for any customer service or concern which is why she's losing customers left and right and she could care less.

The Tellers here are very friendly and I have always had good service here. Recently they closed 2 of their branches in Joplin, and this branch is busier and seems to have less workers. Not sure how that happened. The location does look old school, like mid 80's and they still have an old CRT mounted to the wall. I would consider them if i was to open a new account. The opinions stated here are my own and not provided to me by the owner/operator of this establishment. My goal is to provide honest feedback on my experience, and encourage everyone to provide feedback on their experience. Your experience and opinion may differ based on a number of factors. No monetary compensation was received and I was not required to write a positive or negative review.

I used to like U.S. bank. However I am liking it less and less. Today I went to the drive through and waited 15 minutes and no one even acknowledged that I was there so I finally left. Besides that they closed the branch that was close to where I live and now I have to go all across town to get to it and I though since I had to go to that side of town anyway I could stop at the bank and now I still don't have it done so sometime I will have to make another long trip across town to get it done. Makes zero sense!

This branch is horrible. They are always slow and Backed up,and have made me late multiple times. unfortunately it’s only going to get worse because US Bank is closing the majority of the branches in town. Considering changing banks which is Unfortunate because I have been a US Bank customer for 20 years.
