TVFCU - Fort Oglethorpe Alamar St, Fort Oglethorpe

Very poor customer service at Fort Oglethorpe plus rude people. Equipment does not work every time I go in. I have had a debit card ordered for a month. No one there knows how to check anything. Finally the branch manager helped a bit but she was rude as well. I would not recommend this branch. Maybe another branch would be ok but not this one.

TVFCU has EXTREMELY bad customer service through the drive-thru. They refuse to cash routine checks, which can easily be cashed by the people inside the bank.

I needed a 12,000 loan for 12 months to build a building on my property. Had around 50k in my tvfcu bank account. These people turned me down for this personal loan. My credit was over 800 I didn't have any others Personal loans besides the home loans which was not through them. They also said that they wouldn't even consider a counter offer. They wanted me to put my car against the loan. This is unbelievable. I will just pay cash for the building now. I made a horrible choice to use this bank and will be leaving this bank ASAP. Unbelievable!

Been a member for around 4 years and I feel like I have a good record of deposits and balance and they haven't yet done a single thing for me and I know they use my money and lately seems like they are to many issues. A safe at home would be better.

Absolutely worst bank for protecting your money. Never had a overdraft before and had someone use my card in Arizona. I was 2000 miles away when this happened. Tvcu reimbursed me and took the money back out without my acknowledgment. Don't open a business account here or invest in a company that don't look after your money..

Several friends recommended TVFCU, so we went to Ft. O to ask about their options, and were surprised that we didn’t actually have to be TVA employees to do business with them. They were extremely polite and helpful, so we opened a checking account, and transferred 3 small credit card balances for one platinum card, with no interest for nearly two years. We then refinanced our car loan, going from 5 percent to 1.9 percent! Incredible! We can highly recommend TVFCU for any banking business you might need. John & Suzanne Bergen ………………………………………………………….

Was a member for 5+ years. Accidentally processed a credit card payment out of my side account instead of the main account and didn’t notice. Charged me $200+ dollars in overdraft fees on the side account while the main account (which was connected to this side account) had plenty of money in it. Have never had a missed loan payment, overdraft or anything with them in over 5 years and they refused to forgive the fees from a simple mistake. Terrible customer service and 0 care for customers. Account closed

I don't know what all the hype is about. I hate this place. I have an auto loan here and I had a business bank account. Their online services are extremely limited and they only have branches in this area so if you travel you are screwed. Can't even pay the auto payment online. You have to mail it or go in. Not a bank for millennials. Also, every time I go in there the line is to the door. I needed to speak with a loan officer and went in three different times. I waited in their waiting area and drank burnt coffee for 45 minutes before leaving. THREE TIMES. I took my business elsewhere.

I don't understand the point of having a drive thru that doesn't work half of the time. I can never seem to find a day where I can deposit a check without having problems. Definitely looking for a different bank.

We went into the bank to talk to someone in person about consolidating our credit cards. The guy at the front pointed us to two chairs and said he'd be with us in a minute. We all sat down and he picked up the phone briefly spoke to someone and held out the phone to us and my husband and I looked confused and I took it when the guy started asking what type of loan we wanted and how much and he asking if we wanted to use our house for collerateral and I'm getting upset by the second and I expected to actually speak to someone in PERSON! And this isn't a small tvfcu, so we never expected to be treated this way and wasting our time of actually going to the bank and being put on the phone to talk to someone! We would have stayed at home! Seriously disappointed not to speak to someone in person. And trying to call me on the phone about this review a day later. If you want to discuss your personal details and regarding a sensitive subject, don't worry they will place you by the lobby entrance and you will be put on the phone where you have to try and rely everything to your partner. Because who goes to the bank to talk to someone in person when you can go there to talk on the phone AT the bank!?!?
