    I’m strongly thinking about moving toward closing all 3 accounts with this credit union. I have made every credit card payment on time account always has a positive balance never over drafted. Been building my credit and have a car I am making payments on which currently is a high interest rate. You would think being my credit union they would help n want to refinance my vehicle. But any time I have applied for any type of loan with this company they have always denied me for everything. You would think them being a credit union they would help with building credit and credit consulting. But they don’t!

    Since purchasing my account from FireFly credit union the customer service and banking policies have gone down the toilet.

    I used to bank with firefly. Trustone took over march 1st. It is now April 26 and I still have not received my new trustone cards. I have called 4 times and everytime(after holding for 20 minutes+)they assure me that the cards are on the way, or transfer me to another department that also insists that they cannot mail my cards. Beyond frustrating, I miss firefly, and am unable to recommend this bank to any besides those that I wish to inflict a hellish amount of annoyance and disappointment.

    You're fooling yourself if you really think the service here is different that a more mainstream bank. There's nothing courteous about courtesy overdraft. I closed my account 2018 after banking here for more than 20 years because they refused not to waive $60 in fees on my account after numerous similar issues were resolved without a fuss. The manager quite condescendingly noted that if I "don't have the money I should go to the loan department."

    Had a very unpleasant visit to this branch today. Not only was the staff unhelpful to the point of bordering on being rude, a teller removed their mask during the transaction while interacting with me. This is an absolutely unacceptable and irresponsible lack of commitment to pandemic guidelines and customer safety.

    I lost my credit card with my wallet a few weeks ago. I tried to report it from application but their application doesn't have an option. So I called and talked with someone for hrs. She disabled my card but never sent me a free replacement card. If I want to compare truestone with US bank .. I used US bank application and report a lost credit card. They sent me a free replacement card within a week with no charges. That's why the bigger banks have better service than smaller cu.

    Tried opening an account. Had forms of verification except for a bank statement since it hadn't arrived in the mail yet. They asked for my lease and I had it on my phone. But for reason since I moved there in August it wasn't valid. It had to be within 60 days for it to be accepted. Never have I ever heard of such an arbitrary requirement just to open a checking account. Not sure if I will be returning here.

    I've been with TruStone for about 3 years. I switched over from a national bank and knew I'd be trading some of the efficiency from the well-oiled machine to something with less of a budget. But I have been sorely disappointed with working with TruStone. They've pushed me into checking accounts with $300 minimum balances, frozen my credit card without any notice or cause, stumbled over address changes for multiple weeks at a time, and really messed up my first ever auto loan. It takes them a long time to get back to you via secured email, their loan officers and managers have been either uninformed or displayed terrible customer service when working with them on things. I strongly advise anyone who is considering a credit union, don't choose TruStone. I'm actively looking for a new one myself.
