TruNorth Federal Credit Union N 2nd St, Ishpeming

I've had a lot of poor experiences with this credit union. now that I belong to 2 other banks and use their mobile apps I can confidently say that TruNorth just plain sucks.

I have been a customer here for approximately 35 years. While waiting in line at the drive thru I saw numerous vehicles that pulled into other Lanes come and go. I pushed the buzzer and asked the clerk if there was a problem with my transaction. She said no she just hadn't gotten to it yet. I pointed out that in the lane next to me two vehicles had come and gone but I was still waiting. She said that wasn't true and that she would take care of my transaction when she got to it. I parked my vehicle and went inside to speak to a manager who was very understanding and got me a more professional teller. Usually customers do not complain if there is no issue. I understand it is difficult to get good employees and customer service is a difficult job but if you don't want to handle things correctly then you don't belong in customer service

They allowed fraudulent charges go thru my back account and then told me I'm responsible for the overdrive fees They are theives and I highly recommend against using this bank.

Poor service from the young staff, especially in MQT. But I guess what do you expect from a institution that operates out of rented space from Walmart. Online banking and app service is also insufficient.

Always happy with our service! However during the covid-19 hrs have changed and website wasn’t updated for drive-up times. They are now currently open 9-5 during the week.

I spoke with Nicole today. She was pleasant, kind, helpful, and wonderful to work with. I am writing this post just so hopefully she sees this or one of her supervisor's do. Great job Nicole, keep up the good work!

The single most friendly staff I've encountered when working with financial institutions. They got me in and got me out without any complications or hold ups. Love going to this place and am happy to be in business with them because I know they are keeping my money safe and secure. Opening an account here is literally as easy as giving them a couple bits of information and ... Well that's it.. they have you out of there in 10 minutes practically. So if you're debating whether to open an account with them I highly recommend that you do, I've had no problems with them.

Excellent in-person customer care and easy to navigate web site do do my banking from home.

Using my debit card is always a nightmare. I've had to increase my atm limit multiple times. Reauthorize website for their terrible fraud detection system. Makes it's terribly inconvenient to use my own money.

Staff was great up untill they hired Lilly. She has no pride in her job. She gives me the feeling that I'm making her work. Loved coming by and saying hi, until her and now every time she makes it as unenjoyable as possible. Seperate incident: trunorth, first never trust anyone who doesn't spell true correctly. Second why am I waiting 5 days for my money to become available? Especially when everyone else using Facebook pay gets it instantly? Trunorth keeps telling me tomorrow every day.
