Update....over the weekend the BANK would NOT let me pay my bills and I have all kinds of fees now! The fee they cheated me out of theybwill NOT FIX!! THIS IS NOT THE BANK I SIGNED WITH!!!! IM DONE!! They gave me 2 800 numbers that I wait hours and get hung up on and the people there just think this is a JOKE!!! TO STRESS YOUR CUSTOMERS IS JUST WRONG.....WORST BANK EVER NOW,!! Do they rob us of $40‐$80 each and if the does this for q million people they make 80 million in one weekend to keep or make interest off of. This is all they are doing !!!!! AFTER 23 years I will be closing my account.. the lady with the mustache refuses to let me get MY MONEY!! WITH A DRIVERS LICENCE AND DEBIT CARD..She says the signature is off and made me wait in 110 degree heat for 40 minutes..what a scam..

Cashed a check for me just fine. Of course I do have an account, but not a big one. They are always pleasant and special requests are not a problem. BTW, you might consider it a paycheck, but they have no way of knowing it isn't forged or your employer is solvent. If you insist on cashing paychecks the best way is to open an account at the same back as your employer. Then you can cash the check without a fee. Even better is direct deposit. You get the money earlier.

In general Suntrust is on the bottom rung of lending institutions. 2 years ago a banker in a branch location in Atlanta took 10k out of my commercial loc. It took 3 months for them to return my stolen money. If I am just a day over the time a payment is due I get several call and mail letting my know to make a payment. How ironic. When I do take an advance from my line of credit it confuses the bankers and it takes from 2 to 3 days to get the advance deposited into my account. This week I visited the bank a couple of times But alas the computers are down. To top it off I went to the bank Friday at 4:45 to receive an advance from my LOC. The bank is open until 6. The bank was closed! I called Suntrust 800 and they led me on a goose chase to two other branches in town that were also closed. Not sure why as the area will be getting rain but not until Saturday evening. This institution that is on its way to ruin. It is a poorly run corporation and those who work for this bush league business are probable embarrassed.

My mom uses this bank at west innes st, salisbury, nc and the staff is so nice and helpful. My mother's complaint is access. She is aware the lobbies are closed but it's rare that anyone answers the phone so she can make the occasional appointment inside. She realizes due to the pandemic, it's probably busy at both salisbury locations, however, corporate needs to maybe hire one person at each branch that just answers the phone. My mom has been with SunTrust for quite a while and at 76, it should not be so hard for her to communicate with staff. She is not that great with computers or she may be able to do more. I appreciate your time and again, thank you for the staff at both locations....they're very kind & professional.

I went to this location to cash my paycheck from my employer and they would not cash it because I did not have the the same amount of money in my account to cover the check. They told me that in order to cash a check you have to have the funds to cover it? What does that have to do with cashing my check? I wasn't cashing a check from my account...it was a paycheck. I had to drive AN HOUR to another location who had no problem cashing my paycheck. I suggest if you have any other options do not bank with this establishment! They have no idea what they are doing clearly.

Worst banking experience ever! I deposited my check on Nov. 21 and today is the 29th and I still have zero access to My Money! I would not advise anyone to bank here!
