Truist Timberlake Rd, Lynchburg

I have been a suntrust customer for more than 40 years and all their banks have professional helpful employees. The bb&t branch at Timberlake road Lynchburg is the utmost rude and unprofessional employees I have ever encountered. I will be removing my banking business from trusit once the transition has been completed. I advise the managers and directors for bb&t bank to send the employees to a school to understand how to deal with customers which make the bank this meager is the worst financial move directors could have ever made

We recently moved to Lynchburg and needed to find a local bank. A few weeks back I went inside the BB&T on Timberlake Drive to open an account. The lady upfront asked me to be seated and that someone would be with me shortly. I sat for30 minutes without anyone acknowledging that I was enven there.

This branch is the closest to my house and I’ve only been a few times but they have been very patient and understanding. I had to ordered foreign currency and when it arrived that had accidentally sent the wrong kind so I called and she immediately ordered the correct currency. Because I still had the original currency that was sent they credited my account $200 more to make sure I brought it back. Once I brought the money back they said I should see the money the next day but only part of it showed up. I emailed my branch banker and she was so quick and nice that she re-deposited the partial money I was missing. Would definitely recommend coming here.

Had a meeting with Emory Holmgaard. By far the best banker me and my wife have worked with. Really great guy, very nice and very helpful. So thank you to BB&T and Emory.

poor management. 2 tellers working. 10 ppl in line inside and 8 at the drive thru. do not come here if you don't have 40 minutes to sit in line. went to fort Ave., closed because no workers. can't get business done here in a timely manner. I just closed my account

I typically don't bank at this branch, and may not be banking with this bank altogether in the future, however my experience with this specific Timberlake branch was rather pleasant. I have had a very stressful three days where I was charged four overdraft fees, and the only reason I am considering staying with this bank is because of a very nice customer service rep named George, and a very professional employee, Emory, at the Timberlake branch in Lynchburg VA. But a very rude superior, Daryl, at the Wards branch in Lynchburg VA spoke with me in a very rude and unprofessional manner, and I would like to see him fired for his incompetence and atrocious customer service. If I leave this bank it is because of their awful overdraft policy, their lack of communication, their inability to correct their own bank error, and Daryl.

The representative that helped me, Maria, was so kind and friendly. She did a great job. Not too long of a wait in the drive-thru also which was nice.

Very slow service. I am currently in line and an lane 2 hasn’t moved in 23 mins!!
