Truist Earl L Core Rd, Morgantown

Truist is acknowledged by the FDIC to be the least consumer oriented bank. They cashed a fraudulent check on my account that was stolen from my house (by a ring of thieves that are currently be prosecuted, not a guest in my house) and claimed that I had failed to safeguard my checks so they didn't refund the money.

I called customer service to get a lost card reissued on October 27th. They referred me to the branch to get my driver's license # updated in the system, and that the branch could call customer service back to let them know everything was updated and they could reissue the card. I stopped by the branch same day and it took two tellers to update my DL# in the system and then both of them assured me they would call customer service. I should have stayed and made sure they actually made the call. I wanted this card to book honeymoon accommodations. After two weeks and no card I called customer service and they said the branch never called them to give go-ahead, so the card was not mailed. Now I have to pay overnight shipping fee to get the card in time, and the branch has not answered when I called or returned a voicemail I left with a personal banker, since the customer service agent would not waive the fee as bank mistake. Said the branch has to call in and admit their mistake. ***Update*** I finally spoke with Betty McIe and she said she'd take care of everything. I am changing one star to 4 stars due to her help and actual empathy. I am still frustrated that none of tellers or customer service agents could refund the overnight fee as an obvious bank mistake. If the bank does not trust their tellers and agents with that, then I suppose I should not have trusted them to get basic tasks done. I'll just ask to immediately speak with a manager for anything beyond a simple deposit/payment for now on.

If I had the ability to give 0 stars, I would. This bank is AWFUL. They are crooks. They charge fraudulent overdraft fees, and conveniently only certain items hit in the order BB&T wishes so that you are charged an overdraft. Then, when confronted about it, they have no actual answers and instead tell you "there's nothing we can do". This is criminal!

They do not stay open until posted hours. Using the time on a cellular phone that is satalite may be a good idea for this location. The teller that answered the drive through after we had been sitting there for two minutes was rude and stated that they were closed and to come back. When asked what time they closed she stated 6 pm and that it was 6:04pm as she looked at her watch. It was just turning one minute after the hour at that time and they had just started counting their drawers and turned the drive though lights off early. I would not recommend this location.

Went to cash a paycheck that was from bb&t and was charged an 8 dollar fee. Absolutely outrageous epically considering that the check was from this bank.

Closes your account with out a warning or email and let’s me deposit my check then closes it so now I can’t get my money.

Was treated very badly at the peirpont branch on Monday 2/11/2019. So I went to the Sabraton branch today to cash the same check I tried to cash on Monday. The tellers there are so nice and friendly. Ciara cashed my check with no problems. I've also delt with Betty, and she is absolutely amazing. So I don't understand what's going on over at the Peirpont branch, they are so RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. I was about to close all my accounts, but the staff at Earl L Core road staff saved the day.

I try to deposit money order but counter staff said these money order are expired to deposit. I call post office they said money order are never expires. Then I went to Suncrest bbt , they without any questions deposit for me. It was a bad experience

Employees were very rude and not professional. My daughter and I were there to pay off an automobile loan (the dealership we dealt with uses them-not us) and we were literally treated like criminals!

Avoid it if you can, got to any of the local credit unions, knew the guy that opened them around here and he's a miserly crook, no wonder his banks are too.
