Truist bank has been very unaccommodating with information being provided to the customer. I had an experience that made me want to refinance my loan that I had. For everyone's SA they can only mail you or fax you your 14 day payoff amount. Most people don't have a Fax Machine anymore to my knowledge, maybe I'm wrong. They cannot tell you the amount over the phone. My issues with this bank is their website. Every time I went to login to my account, my account was locked out and I had to wait 20 to 40 minutes just to have it unlocked because the Website has some kinks. This is every time Login. Also Every time I called to do general banking, I was on hold for an hour each time. For These reasons I do not like Truist. Some people have had better experiences with them than me.

I was there just last week on Thursday on alcaniz and made a deposit in what I was told I had a savings account and the teller said the funds would be available the next day which was Fri. Went back Friday to make a withdrawal. And the teller then told me the funds wouldn't be available until next week on 13 of May then I called the customer service number and was told that the account is going to be closed. This is unacceptable you took my checks and now you're holding my money why? For what when I have bills to pay. This is NOT OK. I was even thinking about opening a checking account here. But I definitely will not at this bank. This is the reason I never trusted banks. I see why they only have one banks all the rest of them are closed permanently should have did my homework before I dropped off my checks here. I will get an attorney if they don't release my funds. I advise do not bring your business here. It's not worth the hassle when you do banking here. Take your business elsewhere. I sure will. Very disappointed ☹️ in this bank. I would give this bank 0 stars if that was an option. This is absolutely the worst experience in a bank ever that I have ever dealt with

Julie who helped me, could tell I was in hurry took her time to process a cashier check. Everytime I come in her shes rude and asks unneeded questions tell me what ls in my account and tell me how much I need as far as cash. made me fill out a withdrawal form which is fine but has never been done before. I won't be banking here due the difficulty of a friendly fast service and why get charged 8 dollars just to pay rent with a bank account.

Worst experience in my banking history... Crooked tellers, I made a withdrawal of 9.00 and the teller gave me nine dollars.... But after viewing my online account it stated 10 was given which made my balance zero and closed my account. I called the 800 customer service number and they put in an order to research. After 2 days of no response I called the actual downtown branch and a guy named Pete which said he was the manager, stated it would be taken care of, but it never was. So if I had one thousand dollars in this bank and withdrew $90 and my statement said it was $100 it wouldn't be any different. There is money missing and it doesn't disappear in thin air. This is a case of a thief working for the bank or really bad record keeping as far as balancing at the end of the day. Rich or poor we all need banking services and our money is important. the bank as a business doesn't seem to care... It's not important to them but it is to me. I have banking choices of where I put my money. And it will never be SunTrust.

My parents have been banking with Suntrust for over 20 years and never a question or concern of theirs went unanswered. So when it was time for my husband and i to open a personal and small business account it was a no brainer. This branch was amazing, every employee helpful, thoughtful and kind. When Covid hit us hard and we had to close Suntust as a company went above and beyond for us. thank you Suntrust, we are forever customers.

I closed an account here in person some six or nine months ago. They decided not to close it a few days later because I was owed something like a quarter in interest. A quarter. Instead, they kept the account open and have been charging me a monthly fee I've called probably 3 or 4 times, each time getting the "we've taken care of it" line. Tonight I got home and opened a letter stating they're sending me to collections. Over an account that I closed in person. And have attempted to close at least another three times.

Every time I go in the sun trust in Pensacola the super skinny teller “McKenna” always calls to make sure my check is good although every time it’s from the same person and the answer never changes. The 1 other time I used a different teller it was a breeze, very pleasant. It leaves you thinking maybe just maybe it’s the color of my skin. Some people will just look at you and think they have you figured out.

Had a business account with SunTrust one time. That’s when they were on Garden Street. They acted right there. Recently went to cash check on their bank written directly to me. the tellers were nice. But charging me seven dollars for a check on their account that just isn’t right. majority of other banks don’t do this. Never again will I darken their door.

I do not have an account with this bank but just got off the phone with the wire department of the company and it was the rudest experience of my life. I was considering opening an account with this bank because my normal bank has no locations in this city. ( I just moved to FL). However! I will not be opening an account and deal with employees over a phone with no customer service skills. Do not bank with this company. I'm so sure you will regret it.

I used to have an account with this company. Had I read the Better Business reviews, I would have NEVER opened an account here. They cost me way too much money with their accounting system: debits always post before deposits (except cash). Almost all of my deposits were electronic so I would find my account in arears, even though the deposits were showing. Very deceitful. If this company were to go bankrupt, it would not hurt my feelings.
