The ATM no longer accepts deposits and I have to drive 30min further to get to the bank sense they closed the one in my town. To make a cash deposit I have to take time off of work to make it there during branch hours.

Was told one thing on phone, when I arrived 30 minutes later told differently. Waisted another hour of my time standing there while they tried unsuccessfully to resolve. Terrible bank

Beware! Policies and procedures are archaic, I started with an auto loan without having an actual bank account with Suntrust. and was literally unable to set up and access an online account to check balance, payment history, etc. for years, they just started allowing loan customers to do this several months ago. Each department within Suntrust has had different contact info for me, address, etc. after having moved a couple of times during my loan, they could never figure out how to put one address into their system. I actually wanted to pay off my loan recently and the financial dept was so incompetent they could not answer any questions regarding my payment history and erroneously had in their records I had paid a month late at some point during the loan history, when I told them this was incorrect and asked them what date I had paid "late" they stated they could not give me that information, someone would call me back....I'm still waiting, that was months ago, I just don't have the patience or will power to deal with them so I have not called back

Took 12 minutes to cash a check when i was the only customer in there and then had the nerve to charge me $7 to cash it when it drew off of THEIR BANK
