Awful experience. Long on hold wait times on phone. Customer service has no idea what they are doing. Can never talk to the same person. Over a month and problem still not resolved.

Just spent 45 minutes in the drive thru to deposit a check, watched 5 cars in the right lane that came after me come an go with no wait. Absolutely ridiculous

I’m a creature of habit so I’ve been banking here for 10+ years. It is consistently terrible. However recently they have a new young lady working the drive through and she is a breath of fresh air!! So I’m giving it 3 stars but if she leaves it’s going down to one!

When i got to town almost 2 years ago i searched all the banks in the area to do my personal banking and this branch won my buisness. Every one in this branch has at one time or another has shown me what true customer service is all about! I have to say Kelly, is truely amazing with her smile and awsome service! I wish every one could be just like her! Keep up the great work Suntrust. And thank you! :)

Out of all the BB&T banks that they closed down in the Williamsburg area they left us with Suntrust BB&T. This is the 3rd time I've come to do a deposit (different times of day different days of the week) and it takes at least 20 minutes setting in a long line at the drive thru. Come on people open up one of the BB&T in this end so we can have some options here.

I went to this place on my lunch break to cash a check from my job, while still wearing my badge. I just lost my wallet so I am trying to cash the check with my US Passport, and Mandy McClain and the branch manager Courtney Spardlin are saying they need another form of ID. I've never been to a place where a federally issued I'd with a picture was not enough, its not like it was another banks check. I get that I dont have an account but come on. She asked if I had a debit card I told her again no because I just lost my wallet. She then proceeds to ask her manager what to do. She asks if I have a debit card and I say no again I just lost my wallet. Then I ask if my car registration would work and they say NO. How does a debit card work but not a Virginia car registration with my name and address on it. This to me seems quite ridiculous. If you DO NOT have an account with this bank DO NOT COME HERE!

I opened an account here the employees were very kind, until the bank stole my money!! They closed my account without warning and said they mailed my money to me in check form. They lied! My check was government issued and when I contacted the writer of the check, the Treasury said it had been paid to the bank. They are now telling me I won't receive my funds until March, I'm facing eviction and forget Christmas for my children. WARNING TO ALL, IT IS LEGAL FOR YOUR BANK TO DROP YOU WITHOUT EXPLANATION AND RUIN YOUR LIFE IN THE PROCESS. Im disabled this was a disability check they stole and my guess is after the fiscal year is over they lie to shareholder's of gain then send people their money after they're done, I've contacted a lawyer, stealing government money, let's see them handle the lawyer the way I was dismissed and told my complaints would be logged. PLEASE PROTECT YOURSELF AND OTHERS, WARN ALL SO THIS MADNESS CAN STOP. I BANK ONLINE WITH ALLY AND GREENDOT, THATS RIGHT ALTERNATIVES. KEEP YOUR MONEY SAFE. I now wish I kept my money between my mattress. Good luck.
