Truist New Hwy, Sweetwater

I NEVER received a letter saying my local branch was closing. I can't get to another branch just whenever i please. Plus there is no local ATM. Really Truist? I must add though I really think they have a bunch of good folks working in the bank but still.... I called and asked a staff member why they closed my local branch. She told me mine wasn't the only one closed and what Truist upper officials told them is it was a financial decision. Yes, for me too. Customer of 18 yearsCurrently looking for a local bank

Went by and found out that they closed the only branch in sweatwater. Next closest is in Athens or Englewood.

This location permanently closed in February 2022. I will be switching to another organization now because there are no more of their banks in a convenient area near me.

It was bad enough that they moved the office out of Madisonville, so I have to make a drive to sweetwater just to do my banking.. But today the final decision was made to move my account out of bbt..i needed a check cashed from a major insurance company, supposed to pick up the car today, and bbt refused to cash it. I've been a customer for 15 years, so I spoke with the manager about this and he proceeded to try and insult me by asking if I had the amount of the insurance check in my account, that was the only way they would cash it. This has never applied to any other checks I needed cashed, oh, but that was Maryville BBt, who was happy to help. I'm absolutely taking my money to a different bank.. they've lost a customer of 15 years. Such a let down, but looking forward to joining another who will work and accommodate their customers

Very unprofessional and unwilling to work with clients. I will never again open an account with this company as they only cause frustration when trying to get questions answered. The customer service reps were very condescending when speaking to me on the phone and rather than hearing me, they were talking over me. Very frustrating!

This Truist BB&T shut down. We were not even notified. I needed to use the band and I visit and it is shut down. So no bank in Madisonville and Sweetwater. Time to change banks.

I am able to do all banking without difficulty; never had an issue.

This is a malicious bank. I opened a checking account and found that all of my online transactions were "pending," and the available amount was always impacted negatively. A charge which should've been written off so I could see my balance from days ago still remained, resulting in multiple overdraft fees. After only three weeks of having an account with them, my direct deposit is depleted and I'm left having to let the account flounder to use a prepaid debit card instead. BBTs mascot should be a giant shaft because if you live paycheck to paycheck and use this bank, get ready to get bent over.

Loc the customer service Lead Banking Teller is awesome! He makes my visits very pleasant, and is the personification of a professional gentleman. He is down to earth and knows me by name. I enjoy doing business with BB&T because they have such a fantastic employee named Loc! My money is in good hands!

Don't bother not worth it 30 minutes to get thru drive thru always 1 person working 2 lanes
