AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Worst bank in the history of banks. I cannot say enough about the headaches you will have if you open an account here or bank at this bank in general. Ive been accused of fraud, welcomed back after they "we going to close my account", had my card shut off or account blocked when I try and spend my own money (this happens constantly). I am finally closing my account after giving. them chance after chance. Its worth the hassle to change banks finally. They have no 1-800 number that works after normal business hours. Call during business hours they hang up on you after an hour worth of waiting. Just dont do it. Wellsfargo or BOA is WAY BETTER. Save yourself.

I closed my account back in 2021. I have a letter of account closure notice. Starting in 2022 I started getting letters from recovery that my account was past due and had overdrafts. This must be an error, so I contacted the recovery 866 number and was informed the account was closed by them in 2022, but I closed it in 2021. So how is this possible? The representative noted that an error in closing my account was made at the branch and I needed to go back to the branch to correct it. My question, I don't work for Suntrust Truist, so why aren't you able to communicate directly with your own banks to make the necessary corrections? Why do I have to be inconvienced?

We are at this branch today on December 29th 2021 at 9:20 AM, the branch was not open. We and others were pushing the call button at the drive-through with no response. Finally went to the front door to see if there was a note there was no note on the door stating the reason they were not opened. As I walked away somebody came to the door and put a new sign up. They opened the door and said that we would not be open due to covid exposure and said they were doing the best that they could . To me if they were doing the best that they could do there would be a sign up prior to 9 AM at opening time on every drive-through and on the front door stating the reason they were closed. But because of the no response they were not doing the best they could I also called their branch and no one answered.

Banking with them for 5+ years. Cannot get immediate replacement of bank cards. Huge deposit posted to my account in error. Good thing I am an honest person! Could not get $30 of a $1230 deposit on BB&T account same day.Ordered checks. Kept getting checks I didn't order (like 5 or 6 orders) and with the wrong account # or wrong check number...and I was charged for each one. It took a real effort to get the charges refunded... Also, I made a cash deposit one holiday weekend at the ATM. It malfunctioned only for me and gave NO record of my transaction. It cancelled the transaction, but kept my cash. I had to wait until the bank opened after the holiday to file a claim. Then I had to wait until the issue was investigated to get full access to my money, which was over $1000. The positive was the bank manager did call one of my creditors to explain why my payment was late. What is customer service if a customer cannot get the service they need? I am switching my three accounts to another bank. I have had enough.

The Hiram, GA location is the worst. I wish we still dealt with SunTrust. No one EVER picks up the phone no matter what time you call and when you leave a message you never receive a call back. I was promised to have a transfer fee waived for an inconvenience to me as well as an error on THEIR part and the fee has not been adjusted, I can't speak with anyone and it's very frustrating. Guess I will need to leave work AGAIN to get this corrected. I'm a very unsatisfied customer, forget all the issues I had logging in when the merge first took place.

The outside atm is always down. With no sign. This is my third time coming here in the morning. I put my card in and realize its not lit up. Last two times I had to go in. But this morning bc it was so before 9am I was “ish outta luck” such a huge inconvenience

ATM almost always unable to accept deposits so make sure to go during business hours so you can use the tellers.

Arrived at 9:00 am to make a cash deposit. Tried to go in they wouldn’t let me come in. Went straight to the lane and have been waiting here for 20 minutes now. Still not opened 20 minutes after their posted opening time. Unbelievable that you rely on these people with your money.

This is the worst bank I have ever worked with. I co-signed my pay check and deposited it in my family friend’s account but suntrust flagged that transaction as fraudulent. Instead of returning the check to the merchant, they processed the check and closed that account. It’s been more than two months and we haven’t been able to get any answers. Why keep the money instead of returning the check? This is FRAUD!!! Someone please help.
