Truist S Broad St, Winder

Branch manager David is terrible. I got accused of fraud for trying to send a wire to my contractor. He’s very arrogant and disrespectful to customers. I’m sure he’s not the same with other ethnicity. He’s a terrible leader and shouldn’t be in the position he’s in. I went to another Truist branch and successfully sent the same wire the same day. If anybody has had a problem with David please message me so we can start a suit. The way I was treated was unbelievable.

The ladies that work in the drive thru are great. I gave it 1 star because this is the only BBT close by and it keeps closing. There are other banks who have their lobbies open and keep enough employees working to service the community. If someone is sick, then send them home and keep working. This is ridiculous!

Normally receive fantastic service at the Gainesville location. I went into the winder location to make a deposit while I was in town doing other business. The teller was very rude and condescending to both my husband and myself. I didn't get her name or I would call the branch manager. She didn't greet us at all and rolled her eyes when we said we both needed to make a deposit in two separate accounts. Then there was an error on the check I was depositing and she instead of pointing it out covered it with her hand and asked how much the check was suppose to be. I told her and then she pointed out that there was an error on the "legal line" with the amount. No big deal I can have my client rewrite another check. Her eyebrows were raised the entire time and she seemed almost defensive. The worse part to me was she didn't say thank you just there you go and then asked the next person to step up.

THE WORST BANKING EXPERIENCE EVER! The staff is terrible! They will rip you off and charge you fees for literally everything. Then, they'll overdraft your account and no fault of your own, charge you a ton of money because of it, and laugh in your face. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM!!! Drive down the street to Brand Bank. They're the best!!!

I come here multiple times a week for my job, for about 7 years now. The past 2 times I have been have been awful. Rude service, bad attitudes. You’d think they would know who I am by now and at least simply treat me with some form of good customer service! This saddens me that I am even having to complain! 😞

Called this branch on November 23, 2020 at 14:10. A voice message said this branch was closed temporarily and would reopen soon. I've always gotten excellent customer service at this branch. From BB&T generally, not so much. I wouldn't care about the branch being closed except BBT customer service told me I needed to make an in-person visit ( during a pandemic ) to straighten out an issue with my business account. I was told my business account was made inactive due to lack of activity, even though BBT is still withdrawing service fees and taking deposits, but not cashing checks. Hence, the one star rating. My apologies to the staff at Winder location.

The level of incompetency at this location is incredible. Wouldn't deposit checks made out to my wife in c/o our minor children whom don't have their own accounts. She waited over two hours while they tried to sort this out. She left with no results. So, I reach out to the rep we usually work with in Lawrenceville, Vanda Peters, who has always been wonderful to work with, and she dispelled whatever claims were made regarding what the issues were with the checks and our account.

Worst place to go there guy name DAVID he taken a couple hours and then he tell me you got a wait more hours

It seems like the entire staff at this branch has jumped ship over the past 2 years. Be especially careful of the "Investments" side of the house. They will provide fantasy information to get your money and then CYA by putting wording in the paperwork that exempts BB&T from any and all liability. Do yourself a favor and go to a professional investment firm such as Fidelity or Edward Jones. Any of them will be more honest and straight forward than the investment side of this bank. Oh, I'm speaking from experience and about 30 years of history with BB&T and the predecessor companies.

My rating is for the BANK BB&T, not the customer service or the people. This bank is terrible. I recommend you stay away
