My 4-star review is for Diana (unfortunately, I didn’t catch her last name.) Diana is the branch manager at this location. I had moved from Stafford to Fairfax and my tax return check had been sent to my BB&T account, the bank had only my previous address listed in their system so they sent the check to that address. I called the Stafford branch very early in the morning and a few days prior to speaking with Diana, I spoke with a male rep that sounded dismissive and didn’t seem to have patience to deal with my problem. I was feeling frustrated having to deal with the IRS as they had me go back and forth between the bank and the IRS until I finally called again spoke with Diana, she was very courteous, professional and she actually listened to my situation. Same day she called me back saying she had information as to where the check had been sent and helped resolve the issue. Diana went above and beyond to assist me in this matter. I am so very grateful for Diana, someone who actually listens to their clients/customers and helps. Thank you, Diana!

On Sept 10 ~10am we came to this location to open a new account as we recently moved to the Stafford area. 4 women were working, 1 teller, 1 at the drive through, one helping another customer, and one in an office who walked through the waiting area several times while we waited. No one greeted us. No one asked if we had been assisted. No one said a word. And elderly customer came in and asked my husband who he was waiting for. He said that he wasn't waiting for anyone in particular and that he was there to open a new account. The customer said "oh, you need to talk to her (pointing an associate) and she is gonna be a while". Still, none of the bank employees even acknowledged us. Waited a bit longer and gave up. No one spoke a word to us as we left. The lack of service and frankly, rudeness, made the decision to not open what would ultimately have been 5 accounts (IRA, money market, business checking, and 2 personal checking) with this bank easy.

Had overdraft of less than 2 dollars and they would not forgive me and credit the outlandish overdraft fee. Yes, I opted to have them cover overdrafts but come on. It wasn’t on purpose, and if they had not charged me a $5 monthly fee to pay them to allow me to have a checking account with them, the account would not have gone negative.

It gets worse and worse every time I visit , customer service has gotten horrible over the years . There used to be people there that a small business owner could talk to . I have asked on several occasions for someone from business banking to contact our office , but no one has . The people that open accounts can not answer the questions I have , and frankly I would not believe them anyway. This year we will probably make some changes .

Average below 2.5 stars should tell you everything. They don’t have a coin counting machine at ANY of their locations. They only accept rolled coins. Staff is clueless as to why random service problems happen, which are frequent because truist is god awful.

If you live in North Stafford and regularly depend on the ATM to make transactions after hours I would very strongly encourage you to find another bank. I travel the beltway area everyday for work and while most all other branches have gotten newer and more reliable machines, this branch has an older one that regularly does not work. I thought I had a brainstorm tonight and went to the Suntrust across the street but you can't make deposits there, only withdrawals. How much sense does that make!?!? The only option when the ATM doesn't work is to drive about 12 miles to the branch on RT 17 which has a newer and more reliable machine. For some reason unknown to me we are the stepchildren of BB&T ATM users.

Nothing negative to say about service, but just noticed that the drive thru hours posted on Google say 9AM - 6AM. Which I think was probably meant to be 6PM

Just stopped in to cash two checks made out to me and felt compelled to write this review. First off I do have an account with this bank. I submitted two checks written from another BB&T account for rent that was owed to me. I was told by the teller that she could not cash them because the check numbers were not in order.....Not in order you say? I asked again to make sure I heard correctly. I have had the same checks written to me monthly for 8 months straight. She said if she could not talk to the person that wrote them she would be unable to cash a check from a BBT account. I told her to deposit these checks to my account which she then did. ???? What is the point of writing a check if you cant cash it? I cashed the same checks 8 months in a row with no issue. No red flags. I think this may just be a case of discrimination or just pure laziness. If this is a security policy then it's news to me. So from now on I will have to make sure I tell people writing multiple checks that they better make sure they wrote them in numerical order "OR ELSE" LOL. Totally REDICULOUS. This is the only branch I have ever had issues at. This bank is poorly managed and the teller was RUDE! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, as in any other BB&T branch.
