Truist Liberty Rd, Eldersburg

A few years ago when I opened our club’s non-profit checking account they were fantastic. Now, not so much. In order to “keep everyone safe” they are only allowing ten people in their HUGE branch. Not sure just how much room they need but I cannot get a call back or get in - and there doesn’t appear to be anyone there other than employees. I think it’s time to find a true customer-focused bank rather than just another bank that’s been swallowed up by a larger entity.

I have NEVER had a good experience at the location in Eldersburg. The teller staff are ignorant, rude, abrasive and downright disrespectful. This is not a 'one off' they are consistently rude and unless. So bad in fact that i was not able to pay in two $50 checks to my kids allowance even though they bank there. Horrible, horrible, horrible it infuriates me that they still have jobs. Wake up Mrs Manager!

Worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered with not one but 2 office workers in the same branch. I’ll be taking my money out of there and moving it to another location. I do have to say the manager was not in but called me that day with a sympathetic apology. I still don’t want to get near the aforementioned ‘office workers”. Take your money elsewhere....or at least to another branch.

This bank is pretty horrible as a larger entity — the people is the local branch are helpful and do their best but the overall corporation is a nightmare and has continually messed up things for my business since day one. Stay away from this train wreck !!

This branch only has one ATM that always has a line. And it recently started not accepting checks correctly (rejects, have to type in the amount, etc.)

I was very disappointed with BBT in Eldersburg. We were trying to get a Medallion Guarantee Signature and were rejected for not very clear reasons. The person in charge of this process did not seem to understand what we trying to do and he made little effort to understand the problem. In general the attitude of the people we talked to was less than understanding and concerning. I have recently opened an account at BB&T and to be honest, I am sorry that I have done that. We finally got a Medallion Guarantee signature at PNC, no hassle, quick and done courteously.

I've never had anything but positive experiences at BB&T and I've banked with them since they opened this branch. I'm facing a problem right now that I've never had before and I'm confident they will take good care of me!

I love this bank, and specifically, this branch. It has the feel of a "neighborhood, friendly bank," and I couldn't be happier with the services, management and employees.

Lobby still closed. Have to wait at drive through 20 minutes to cash a check.
