Worst bank. Mobile deposited a cashiers check and they put a hold on it when I needed it. I had to have that to go out of town. They wouldn’t cancel it. I had to go to a check cashing place and cash it. Then suntrust charged me 15 dollars for a bounce back. Canceling this month after my last payroll check. I will take my business elsewhere. And also suing

Been making the same Child Support deposit monthly into my ex’s account for over 10 years into the same account. I went to this branch and not only did they not let me make the deposit, they insulted me with a what if I was a crazy stalker scenario. Luckily I was able to contact my ex, she called the bank but they wouldn’t help her either siting BS policy without checking either one of our accounts. However, we were able to work it out so I could deposit the money into her account despite the rudeness and unhelpful staff. The bank manager was not in that day. Never in my life have I been treated so rudely, not to mention they put in zero effort aside from insults (they only had intermittent customers). Been banking with Suntrust since the 90’s so just going to avoid this branch from now on as it is a cesspool of unprofessionalism.

Have been cashing clients checks for 180.00 for about 15 yrs. Friday they tried to get me with a 7.00 cashing fee.The tellers have all been so helpful and offering to open an account for me before this young man . He and his manager upset my client who was so humiliated, she was going to drive from Oak Ridge. I just went on down to my y12 whom I 've had since 1990. I wouldn't recommend SunTrust at Bearden for any type I'd banking. My client is switching

Worst bank I have ever used. I’ve been an account holder since they were NBC and it has been getting progressively worse. Will be leaving within the month

Sitting at the ‘open’ drive thru for an extended amount of time waiting for some one to acknowledge me. Very poor customer service.

If you were to hand your money over to a complete stranger they would probably do a better job of protecting your money than SunTrust. First off, they don't allow you to dispute transactions. One time I made an online purchase from a site I hadn't used before. It was a one-time transaction but the merchant continued to charge my account more times and on different dates beyond that without permission. The only option SunTrust gave me was to lock my card permanently. Luckily I was able to contact a decent human at the company and have my card info deleted on their end. If they had been complete theives they could've drained me for every dollar, and if SunTrust did anything at all it would be adding a $37 overdraft fee for each time they ran the card. If a few transactions made elsewhere 5 days before were still processing, those would overdraft as well in that situation. The order in which they are supposed to process your transactions is explained on their site and pamphlet, but they don't always follow it. I've gone over it with tellers and managers at multiple branches and many times over the phone. Even when they admit there is a mistake they don't fix it. The merger won't change things either. Considering how BB&T charges $8 to cash their own checks if you don't have an account with them, I expect Truist will be one of the most crooked and greedy banks in the country.

Never in my life have I seen a banking system so slow in the drive through! Get it together or shut down! You’re wasting your customers time and it’s beyond ridiculous! I don’t like SmartBank but they are lighting fast in customer service compared to any branch of SunTrust and their lobby is open!!

Worst customer service ever. I've been banking here for over sixteen years. Greasy haired bleach blond, 40 something year old, center teller wearing some leopard pattern outfit, was extremely rude. Definitely need to bank elsewhere or with a different Bank.

Superb customer service. I went through some identity theft recently and they were on top of it. Every time I call or stop by, excellent service. Thank you!!
