I can't make this stuff up if I tried. I contacted Truist to defer a payment for one month, while I relocate and get settled, for ONE MONTH. Mind you I never missed a payment or was late. They told me I didn't qualify because I didn't have a job and there is no guarantee that I would pay the following month. If I don't have the payment now, what is the point of denying the deferment, either way I still can't pay. Since when is losing income not qualify as a hardship. This is the worst bank I ever had to deal with.

Dylan at the Murfreesboro location was great. Dylan should be the Manager. Manager crystal- rude not helpful, gave me wrong information and when I called the truist phone for help they assisted where she would not. On site Banking took over 1 hour because I had to go thru the line twice with Crystal lady telling me the wait was an additional 1/2 hour or more and then given wrong information/ saying she would not assist with an additional fee charged me. Skeleton crew on a Saturday?? Meanwhile, Wait time on the phone for help was 1 hour. Do you want to give up almost 3 hours of your Saturday for trying to get banking needs completed?? Suntrust was 150% better and never had issues with Suntrust! Truist is pathetic. *** Do not bank here and if you do , cancel your account and go elsewhere! If you don’t care then experience the customer service for yourself. ***

This is an overall rating for the company, not this exact location. Working for a bank, I understand how overdraft fees, ACH transactions, and other things work. I was made to feel stupid and disregarded. I would never recommend anyone use this bank. Banks already get a bad reputation and this does not help. It perpetuates the feeling that banks are here to take your money, BECAUSE THATS EXACTLY WHAT THEY DO.

I want to be ugly, but instead I’m going to say a prayer for the team in this location of Suntrust. There is a culture here that needs some love and healing. I have had three issues in this bank over the last three months, and it boils down to lack of customer service. God please give this team the love and focus they need to help their customers and not feel that they are a chore. Give them the patience and understanding to know that we bank with the brand and they are a representation of that brand and need more love in what they do everyday. Please help this location out of its void and help it bounce back to exceed its clients expectations daily. I have been banking with Suntrust for nearly 10 years and don’t want to switch brands over one location’s challenges. Hopefully this helps!🙏🏼

Just made another trip through crazy traffic to find out closed again . Said covid . Why can't they open at least one drive up. Now going to be closed another week how nice is that. Have had account with them for 46 years but that's about to change . Plus they act like they don't want to wait on you when they are open.

Worst merger ever, after waiting (still) months for the new (Truist) cards we have now very unexpected had our current cards turned off. So not only did I get my card declined at a gas station but now all of my auto pay bills will be declined (they come out tomorrow) and I will accrue late fees. Does anyone else have this issue? I will be changing banks as soon as possible and looking towards a lawsuit if this affected you in the same way let me know maybe we can work together.

Bank leader Chrystal was extremely friendly an knowledgeable! She even took took time out of her evening after hours to answer questions while I was talking to a car dealer about financing options.

I had accounts with SunTrust since 1996.. I am currently in the middle of refinancing with them. This has been the longest process ever. I am not happy with their service. Be aware. Refinancing is taking over 75 days... If I wasn't so far in the process, I'd cancel it.

I deposited $280through the ATM, but it shows that they received $275 ,I clicked to request a refund. They did not give me a refund and no money was deposited into my account. They just asked me to call customer service. But after ten days, I was only given $5. I will bear all the responsibilities. It's really unreasonable. Its ridiculous I feel like they robbed us of our money it's very disappointing to say the least and completely unprofessional.

One of the tellers took 15 minutes to talk about grilling while there was a line of people. At least the worker next to him was solving a real problem and not wasting everyone's time. As I am standing here, he is still just talking casually while there is a big line.
