Truist Springhill Dr, Statesboro

I went to open an account, and I was served by a tall skinny guy, he was really obnoxious and rude, so I decided to open my account in another bank.

If I could leave negative stars, I would. Like almost every other review. This branch is TERRIBLE. After having BB&T for 8 years, I am sadly transferring my accounts to a new provider. I have never been made to feel so belittled by employees, much less the branch manager. I have had better customer service at McDonalds. I expect more respect from someone I am paying to handle my finances. Do yourself a favor and go to literally any other bank in Statesboro.

Josh was incredibly helpful after my debit card was stolen. He was calm, professional, and courteous and I cannot thank him enough.

The absolute worst BB&T ever. I recently went there to get a permanent debit and they told me to wait 5-7 business days for it to show up in the mail. I don’t understand why I couldn’t get a permanent card at the bank rather than have it mailed to me. Until then, they gave me another temporary card.

I spoke with Josh yesterday. He answered the phone immediately and patiently answered ALL my questions. Thanks for being the perfect example of Customer Service.

Josh is 100 percent the reason I will never be back there. He sets up new accounts for customers. I showed up at 1 and was told he was at lunch and would be back in 15 minutes. I said ok and I left. Not once did I say I would be back in 15 minutes.i came back around 4 after finishing errands and he was the rudest and most condescending person I have ever dealt with. He made snide remarks and remained rude and in a rush the entire 2 minutes he spent rushing me out of the building. Mostly about me not being there right after his lunch. I have talked with others who have had similar experiences with him. If this bank is ok with employing people that treat your customers this way then I want no part of it.

You would think that no one here has worked for a bank before. Awful location.

This is the WORST bbt ever . Their atm never works , customer service ALWAYS slow & they never know what they’re talking about . Wouldn’t let me deposit money in my account because I lost my entire life (license, id, birth certificate) and had to wait 2 weeks for a new id in the mail , causing that same account to close , I went in the next day and paid the remaining balance off and attempted to just open a new account . They told me “it’s policy I wait a year to create a new one” and I knew that was false so I just went online and created a new account in my own . This is the only bbt that ALWAYS gives me problems .

Absolutely TERRIBLE! I needed to get $20 from the ATM. After inserting my card, pressing withdrawal, $20, it says function not available at this time, so I go to the drive-thru and explain the situation to the teller, I give her my license and debit card....she tells me I gave to come inside, she can not give me cash from my account at the drive-thru....total crap! I am already running late, so I go inside only to find 8 people standing in line with ONE teller working. The lady in front of me went inside as I was pulling in to go to the ATM. I stand there for a minute, the lady the teller is helping is looking on the lady's phone.....WHY?!? Now I am at GeoVista, I should have came here in the first place, something told me to. That is absolutely terrible service. It's not even lunch time, wht do you only have one teller working? And if you know you only have one teller inside WHY can't you give me cash at the drive-thru? Or fix your ATM!! Seriously do not know ONE bank that will not give you cash from your account at the drive-thru. People are usually in a hurry when they go to a bank, they don't need to wait. Get it together.

A bank that WONT ACCEPT CASH! I’m all the way in Atlanta and my boyfriend can’t put cash in my account! What if I had an emergency? This is absurd! I am switching banks immediately and will NEVER recommend this place to anyone.
