Truist Broad St, Lagrange

If I could give this bank -10 stars I would . By far the worst banking experience I’ve ever had in my life . Staff refuses to answer . The location is terrible . Don’t go through the drive thru thinking you’ll just drive thru and take care of business you’ll be there ATLEAST 35 minutes . After closing out my accounts and swapping they still tried to retain some of my $ . If you are thinking about banking here , RUN . This is your sign

I work for an office here in town and visit pretty much every brand bank here in town regularly, and this doesn’t even hold a candle to any of them. In every other bank I can pretty much guarantee employees with a great attitude that make the process not just smooth and efficient but something I can walk away from in a decent mood and not have it be a downer, and so far every time I’ve come here it’s just a bleak place in comparison to all the other stops I’ve made. The staff act like they aren’t happy to see anyone, or help, or be there period. They’re as bleak as the paint color on the place.. and I hardly get any sort of smile or decent tone from them. I’m usually happy to just move along to the other banks, where I’m happy to walk in or drive thru. That’s not even mentioning how inconvenient the drive through is set up and how crazy it is on a busy day.

Drive thru Teller made zero attempt to fake her frustrations for the greater good of customer service. If you can't simply smile and be pleasant EVEN when you want to SCREAM....(clue) you might not be cut out to provide a service for customers! Ever heard of just "grin & bare it"? Like it or not, if your business hours are from 8:30am to 12:00pm, then YOU ARE OPEN UNTIL 12:00! Not 11:57, 11:58 or 11:59......12:00 is 12:00! I resent you lying to me so you didn't have to wait on me but your "the cash advance machine went down at 11:30" story smells suspect! I will be closing my account and taking my business elsewhere!

Used to love this bank and its staff. Ruined with another corporate merger.

Used to be a good bank with personal service. Now, since the truist merge it's the worst bank in town. Drive through only, always multiple cars waiting, spilling out onto Broad street. No one at truist cares at all.

This is the 3rd time I have called today. Each time put on hold..What happened to the old BBT. Each time on hold 45 minutes plus

Had to change checking account and was not told that debit card wasn't linked to the new account and ended up being $144.00 in overdraft fees for 3 charges of 99 cents and 2 charges of 2.00. That's wrong for banks to change $36.00 on that small amount of money.

Very slow usually causes traffic jams in town.
