Truist E Broad St, Statesville

Went to the bank on Broad St. Statesville NC to open an account. A black female very rude and unprofessional. Asked why we wanted to open an account at the BB&T. WE WANTED A JOINT ACCOUNT TOGETHER FOR WEDDING PLANING. She acted as she really did not want to help us, so we left and went to another bank on Front St. We had no problems at a his bank with a 500.00 cking and 200.00 savings account.

The old blonde woman needs to go everytime I cash a check it takes her and hour plus I cash the same check here every two weeks for work, for 5 years every two weeks, today she told me she couldn't cash my check because I have a zero balance I need to deposit it, no I don't I can cash it if i want, second I would only get a hundred today like no I gotta pay rent today I have cashed this check here every 2 weeks for years. She still proceeds to say na I can't do it like come on I am switching to a different bank this bank has always caused me problems now I can't even cash my own check I worked hard for at my own bank?

Have a checking, Savings, and Credit card through bb&t. If my checking account runs out of money I have Overdraft Protection to take from my credit card. Noticed after not checking my bank account for four days that they charged me over 1000 dollars in overdraft fees. They made up some story that you can't go past 25% of your credit card balance. I checked the PDF online and went in person and they told me they have no documentation for that. Waited for a phone call from distract manager for over a week after they told me it would be two days. Basically said I'm stuck with the charges. Your money is safer under a mattress. Closing all my accounts and so is my family.

Seriously! You need more tellers...15 minutes and HOLDING!! Ridiculous! I'd leave but, I am stuck in the middle...

I have banked at BB&T for many years and have found them to be so helpful. They value my business and go out of the way to try and help.

This merge between BB&T & SunTrust has got to be the worst decision ever made. Now we only have 1 branch open in a city of 26 + 30000 people. The wait is ridiculous, what was BBT thinking after all this time. Just a shame to ruin a good bank!!

If you need reliable ATM machines DO NOT bank here. If you love being IGNORED then this is the bank for you. I hate to see what has become of a once mighty and useful financial institution.

I went to open an account today at BB&T Bank on broad st, Horrible customer service!!! and on top of that the chairs on the waiting area are very dirty, the building looks old, the environment it's not clean as soon as we entered the building we started to sneeze, even the employees were sneezing - I do not recommend BB&T at least not the one on Broad St, I already opened an account with BANK OF AMERICA, Bank of America provided me with excellent customer service and the building it is old too BUT CLEAN.

I was making a at CASH deposit on a Thurday which was supposed to be in my account immediately but it didn't show up! I checked my account Friday, it wasn't there. Called this branch back Friday and they said it would be there Saturday after processing. It's Saturday and I just checked my account and they placed an ADMINISTRATIVE HOLD ON A CASH DEPOSIT UNTIL MONDAY!!!! WHAT BANK IN THE US OF A PLACES A 3 DAY HOLD ON A VERY SMALL CASH DEPOSIT!!! WORST BANK EVER!!!

This has always been my go-to BB&T location. Never had a bad experience here.
