Triangle Credit Union Elm St, Manchester

I had a loan with them a few years ago and switched due to a better rate. I had some money left in the account. Triangle apparently charges a $10 fee for mail returned and never reached out by phone or email. The amount I had in the account was small but they took the money due to mail returned charges and never tried reaching out by phone or email (which they had on file). I talked to a rep and kept getting told they didn’t know why no one reached out from a different method but that they normally do. Not a great experience. Also it took a long time to get the lien set to the new loan company.

Stay away, too many overdraft and they point computer fault, for a loan, forget it ,closed my account, NOT Recommend

This is about Triangle Credit Union as a whole, not one particular branch. It is the most user-unfriendly credit union or bank I've ever belonged to. Everything is a hassle from mobile check deposit to mortgage applications. It took 4 months to close on a refinance through Triangle. They blamed the pandemic and refinance rush, but we had people we knew who started their process months after us and finished before ours did. We finally closed on it, and we can't pay the mortgage from any other bank, we have to pay it in cash or check in person, or transfer from our Triangle Savings Account. This is made even more inconvenient by the fact that their mobile check deposit system has unnecessary requirements for them to accept the check. If you don't write "for mobile deposit to Triangle Credit Union only" on the back of the check, with your account number, and a perfect signature, they reject it. We are part of two other credit unions, and three other banks, and none of them are as difficult to bank with as Triangle. I completely regret going through them, and will never recommend them to someone else simply because every single banking experience is a hassle when it doesn't need to be.

They never have my direct deposit on time and i get my money days after i should for what ever reason this bank has screwed me multiple times i would not recommend this bank dont use it wish i didnt have to

Terrible customer service. I cashed a check drawn on their bank, at the Elm Street location. It was incredibly uncomfortable. I was even asked why I was using their bank instead of my bank. Excuses me??! Then I was subjected to 15 mins of whispering and looking through the computer with her supervisor. No explanations, no apologizing. I expected the police to be called by they way they treated me. When my substantial check was OK’d by the incredibly rude supervisor, they tried to convince me to open an account. I felt like giving them a piece of my mind at that point. How degrading and unprofessional can two bank employees act to a customer? No thank you. Do better ladies.

All I need is a lien release faxed to the DMV. I have been calling for a week and have had zero call backs. Trying to get a person on the phone is worse than pulling teeth. Too bad I can't give zero stars. Worst bank service ever.

If you make a deal down the road for a used car for instance, and the guy tells you that "if you pay cash he will knock 500.00 off". Warning!! don't have your money in Triangle Credit Union!! as they don't have money on hand! I have to make an "order" and set a date to take more than 5000.00 out of my own account!! are you kidding me! 5000.00 today is like 500.00 was 20 years ago..And even then they had to scramble and give me 20.00's for more than half of 5000.00. Are you kidding me!! What ever little money I may have left in that credit union is coming out ASAP! I will find a bank that can answer the question," How much money can I withdraw today! without having to wait 4 days!?" This credit union is a joke. cheesy Pawn shops have more cash on hand for crying out loud!! Its not like I was asking for six figures.. I mean seriously, 5000.00 is all you can withdraw? hope I never bump into a "good deal" again...

Dropping off cash for an auto loan is a 30 minute ordeal. Embarrassingly bad
