    Purchased a vehicle through Tresl that was a work vehicle. After having an issue with the online application, I was put in contact with a gentleman named Christopher and the process was as painless as could be. We got approved for purchase overnight and Christopher made the process super enjoyable. I understand that financing and purchasing a vehicle over the phone or internet can be scary but Christopher made it as simple as could be and I couldn't be happier.

    Excellent Customer Service. But My Financial Advisor is not able to close the deal. I picked up the vehicle from Avis on Apt 16th. Till now my Financial advisor is not able to provide a purchasing agreement without errors ( My address and state sales tax is wrong). On top of that, She is telling they calculate the sales tax based on the original/new vehicle price. Also she never responds to any of the calls or mails, Its been more than 3 weeks, any dealer can finish the same process in half a day. And the Avis Store person is telling my FA never extended the hold on the vehicle. Read other reviews below to understand why customers are getting charged! 5 Star for Julie Cranes (Customer Service & Sales). Hoping Tresl to act on this one in a timely manner. Latest update : After escalation, purchase was completed.

    I was consistently receiving marketing emails for refinancing my auto loan and discovered Tresl. I filled out the online application on Friday 1/21/22 and spoke to a representative over the phone that assured me I would be contacted later in the day. I received a call while I was working and listened to the voicemail instructing me to call the representative back. I called them back within an hour of their call, got their voicemail, left my number and asked that they call me back. I received no contact over the weekend or Monday, so I called towards the end of the day, spoke to a rep that said I'd need to speak with my account owner who said they were unavailable because they were having "computer issues." They assured me I would receive a call from them the next day. I did not receive a call, email or any contact so I called multiple times and cannot reach a person as my call goes directly to the voicemail of the same rep who will not call me back. I have sent emails to three separate contacts for the company and have gotten no response. I called today 1/26/22 and again heard the same unique musical ring tone for the same rep's direct line. This time the call was picked up and hung up immediately with no words. A few minutes later I received a call from an Austin, Texas area code (nowhere near my state of residence) that I had never seen before, answered, said hello multiple times and heard only silence. I can only assume this call has some association to this shady organization's employees. When attempting to find my account online I receive an error message each time. They performed a hard credit pull, have my information and have completely abandoned me. They are a scam, dishonest and untrustworthy and I want assurance that I have no account with them and they are not misusing my information.

    Ranger was my financial advisor for refinancing my car and his customer service skills were above expectations. He was very courteous and knowledgeable of his job and even offered some additional tips to help me financially in the long run. I really appreciate his advise and his service!     What was supposed to be an easy process turned in to either my paperwork being lost or ignored for almost 2 weeks. My emails checking in to see where we were went unanswered. I finally sign my documents after three weeks and he puts in the wrong information on the title and we have to resign. By the time he went to submit my papers my original pay stubs had expired and he needed new stuff sent. After a month of trying to secure a loan I walked away and then you better believe all my unanswered emails were getting answered pleading with me not to walk away from the loan. I got a loan at a local credit union with a better rate in 24 hours. Also be aware they like to put tire protection plans in the loans. I don't remember talking about adding one of those, but it was going to cost a pretty penny.

    I went through Tresl to refinance my car. First, I was told that the loan would go through in certain time frame giving me 45 days to make my first payment and it didn’t, causing me to have to name an extra payment on my old loan that I wasn’t prepared for. Second, when the process stalled, I repeatedly contacted the agent who was supposed to be helping me, but he didn’t tell me he was out of the office until THE DAY HE GOT BACK. And lastly, I was not informed that the insurance i had did not meet the requirements of my new lender so now I have to get a new more expensive policy which defeats the whole purpose of me refinancing my car for a cheaper monthly.

    When I first began the refinance process, things went fairly smoothly. My finance advisor (Markis) stayed in contact and made sure I had submitted all the necessary documentation. However, once I met with the notary and signed everything (on 5/23), the communication between Markis and I dropped significantly. I had to follow up with him a few different times asking if there was anything else I needed to do as I had not heard back from him or the lending bank (Tresl) as to whether or not everything was approved. Several days went by and I had received no new information. Markis finally got back in touch (on 6/1) to say the bank had not accepted my “proof of address” so I submitted a copy of my lease which held my name and address, including the apartment number (which apparently was the issue- not having the unit number listed.) The lease was not accepted by the bank but I was not made aware until 6/7 when I reached back out to Markis to follow up about my first payment and he again said my documentation (the lease) had not been accepted. Over the next WEEK, I submitted a copy of my driver’s license, my auto insurance card, my 2021 tax return, AND a property tax bill in order to prove proof of residence. NONE of these documents were accepted. On 6/13, Markis emailed again to ask if I could get a copy of my driver’s license from the DMV website that would show my apartment number. I did and submitted that as well on the 14th. After that- radio silence until the 22nd when I reached out yet again to see if the bank had accepted my documents. No response from Markis, but shortly afterward (6/24) I received a “congratulations on completing your loan!” email. I’m assuming the bank finally accepted my documents but I never received any other email (or other) confirmation from Markis. Overall, I’m glad everything worked out (after a month of back and forth) and I was able to refinance my car loan but I feel like the communication and transparency could have been better. I had to jump through many unnecessary hoops with the bank in order to proof my residency.

    Company was chosen as the intermediary for financing/purchasing of a company vehicle, which I bought outright. Service was insanely responsive, daily follow ups and replies until they got my money. Since then i’ve had to beg and pry to get any information out of them on the process for my title/registration. They made a mistake in the info sent to the DMV which delayed the process ~2 months. Called twice and had to be transferred to different CSR’s who apologize for the other person not responding. I realize they don’t control much of what happens after it gets in DMV’s hands but super frustrating to have to plead for even a common courtesy reply with status updates. Would not personally recommend but also no basis for their service for financing. They may be great if you’re continuing to pay them - just not great for me after they got my money.

    Just really nothing good to say about my experience with Tresl. Used 3 companies, Tresl and 2 other similar "broker" style sites recommended by Nerd Wallet for a lease buyout. Chose these few companies because of the soft pulls on the credit, while they find the small credit union type lenders in all the different states that I've never heard of myself. Figured I'd find some good options before I shop rates doing true hard pulls. Never tried these "broker" sites before, but seemed promising to have them use their large lender networks and software to help find a good lease buyout lender...as many don't loan on those. I promptly submitted all required docs their site system required. I then gave it a day+, but was forced eventually to email my Tresl FA (financial advisor) Trisha, who I had no choice but to use, a couple of times just to push her AND THE COMPANY along. The other companies came back immediately with what their site promised, multiple options for the consumer, and friendly advisors who seemed like they wanted to earn my business. Trisha just seemed like she was miserable at her job, and had no interest in researching better rates for me, and couldn't really answer any questions regarding the Tresl selection process. Other companies FA's spent time with me reviewing many other lenders base rates, to make sure I understood that the lender they were pairing me with was the best for me. Based on all the other positive reviews for Tresl, I really think it's all about the FA they pair you with. However, she AND the Tresl system, paired me with a lender 2% higher than what the other companies did. She had no interest in looking into why their rate was so high for me, nor what the other soft pull lenders came back with. The site says they provide 3 or 4 lenders options, but didn't. It's not hard to find out what auto loan interest rates are averaging at any given time, as the internet is a powerful tool. I'm very credit worthy, and nationwide credit unions are offering rates for used vehicles at around 2.75%-3.5% for excellent credit in May 2022. She and Tresl came back with a credit union at something stupid like 5.8%, when the other similar online broker companies found credit unions in far away states for 3%-3.4%. What!? Honestly, I don't really write reviews....but this horrible FA who Tresl hired and didn't train properly, just really aggravated me and wasted my time. Again, it may just all depend on which FA they pair you with. I wish they allowed me an opportunity to switch to someone new, but couldn't. I found Tresl through Nerd Wallet, which is a site I like. They listed top 9 companies for lease buyouts right now in May 2022. Due to current auto market with high prices and low inventory, if a lease buyout is something you're after, I would try one of the other major online "broker" sites. I've had extremely good customer service with R***genius. Looking into credit unions nationwide, and their rates, the other ****genius company did find me the best rate probably. I'll fully apply with them and their recommended lender, allowing the hard credit pull, while applying directly with some CU's, as multiple hard pulls for similar loans like auto or mortgage don't kill credit as long as they're within 30-45 days...per FICO. I guess my Tresl review ended up being pretty long lol, but Trisha's customer service just rubbed me the wrong way. If you decide to try Tresl, and you get her as your FA, good luck. However, before trying them, keep in mind their systems algorithm or underwriters came back 2%+ higher than the other similar companies. Hmmmm....that's a bit strange, but perhaps they're model is to push the uninformed consumers to the lenders who provide the most financial kickback to Tresl. That's my only guess...anyways, I'll shut up now, and just use the better sites.

    The Tresl team was SUPER responsive while trying to earn my business and get me to refinance through them. Unfortunately, I've emailed multiple representatives for the past couple months because I am now the sole owner of my vehicle and they were supposed to mail something to the MVA in order to get my title and registration updated and they never did. The MVA said they're unable to help me if I can't get what I need from Tresl, and that they are the ones that are supposed to take care of this. I refinanced in August 2021...it is now March 2022.

    Terrible customer service, they have a selection of when you wanna get a call I made a selection of 12pm they call me at 10am while I’m at work I asked to be called back at 12pm no call back. I then called the number back 3 times at 12 no answer. I then call customer service it’s directed to someone’s voicemail. The next day I call again around 9am voicemail the someone named Adam calls me at 4pm. I Explain what’s going on he then says we’ll are u still looking to refinance then I said is this how your customer service works!! he then pause then says again “are u still looking to refinance” avoiding the question again told him I’ll choose someone else the hung up. This company customer service is disgusting and I would never go with a company that I can’t ever reach there customer service line nor blatantly avoids my question. DONT GO WITH THEM!!!

    I purchased a vehicle in November 2021 and Tresl was assigned to manage the title, tags, and registration. It is now March 7th, 2022 and there has been zero progress on the status of these items. Tresl made 2 errors while working with the DMV. First, was a fee discrepancy; they filled out the numbers incorrectly and the DMV had them start the process over. I had to email and call for over a week before they noticed it had been rejected. Most recently, they made a "marking" on the document sent to the DMV and yet again, the document was rejected and we are starting over again. Again, I had to be proactive and call/email multiple times before anyone even looked into the situation. My temporary tags have expired multiple times and Tresl told me that I needed to change my insurance coverage to receive the additional temporary tags (this increased the premium on my insurance). I have requested to speak to management in hopes of some resolution and have been passed on month after month (since November, I have been dealt with over 10+ contacts). If you have an option to choose or not choose the services of this company, I strongly suggest to look elsewhere and avoid this organization at all costs. I am shocked they are able to remain in business.

    I never got a car or financial advice from this company (thank God). They do not work with their customers or make it possible to meet needs , I was going to do my car reference with them till my brother who had a terrible experience with this lender stopped me ( thank to him ) . Any company with poor customer service should not be allowed to operate like this in Arizona .

    If I could give ZERO, I would. Called to inquire about an aunlto refinance. Was asked if I gave my consent to a hard inquiry for a GUARENTEED rate. I consented , acquired THREE new inquiries and was denied. RUN ! This company is a joke, waste of time. 0/0. Beware - they'll ding your credit on empty promises !

    I have had the most difficult time working with Tresl on my auto refinance. My questions are constantly dodged and I have been lied to by my representative.     This process has been awful. I sent in all the required documents and now when I try to contact Gus Jonathon Labban, it says delivery notice failure. I tried to call corporate and was on hold for over 20 min with no one answering the phone. I logged into my account and it just says the account is closed. What a scam!

    This company was sketchy and disorganized to say the least. My financial advisor quit unexpectedly (found out by his email becoming inactive) after I submitted all of my documentation. I then was assigned a new advisor who continuously gave me inaccurate information. The inaccurate information included everything from having my loan payoff amount significantly inaccurate to the true payoff amount. I was also told a payment was sent when in fact it wasn’t. They lost my documents 2x. I absolutely do not recommend them. I prefer a higher interest rate than dealing with a shady company.

    Unfortunately one of their representatives said he could get me a lower rate, ran my credit, and never replied back to me. Not a great business mode in my opinion as they are supposed to help you with payments, not run your credit for no reason.

    I had such a phenomenal experience with Ricardo at Tresl. I did the process online through Credit Karma. Ricardo was always so helpful. He answered all my questions and I had quite a few. He never made me feel like I was a burden or a bother to him during this process. He answered my emails in a timely fashion which was within 24 to 48 hours, not counting weekends. He even answered questions I didn’t even know I had. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to refinance.

    Before doing a hard inquiry on my credit, Terrance spoke to me and walked me through the loan process. He ultimately explained that (with as far along I was with my current loan) it would not be in my best interest to continue the application process; that I would be paying more money in the long run. That is a level of integrity and knowledge in sales and customer service you don't always see today. I decided not to go through with the loan. When I am ready to purchase a new vehicle, I will be reaching out to Tresl and Terrance specifically!

    My experience with Tresl has been absolutely terrible. I told the agent I spoke with before I refinaned my car that I was switching jobs and I would be very busy. The agent didn't provide me all of the options available to me for getting my paperwork notarized hence delaying my payoff process. There was no apology or empathy for my situation, it wasn't until I threatened to cancel my refinance that an additional option was provided to me that I ASKED for in the first place. Terrible Terrible experience..

    Tresl charged me for my car twice to my bank account, which cause severe financial stress. No online payment system should allow you to be charged twice. They returned my money after a very stressful week. Totally unacceptable. My sales consultant, Robert H., said I would not be double charged when I alerted him that two payments were scheduled. I was wrong and I was double charged anyways. He also made errors in my final fee (they double charged a $399 fee). I would not trust working with Tresl again. I would caution anyone who works with them to double check your final fees and don't use their online payment system, unless you want to risk being double charged.

    Too good to be true? i was in talks with the company on a refinance of my car back in 2021, The associate Nick Murry was walking me through it and was a super nice respectable person, everything was going great, i got a fantastic offer dropping my payments almost $300 a month, lowering my interest to 4% went through all the paperwork, did everything i needed with signing. it was all going great, and about the time when i was supposed to swap over payments from the old bank to the new they went silent. personally called Nick between 10-20 time. either left for voice mail or denied my call without returning it, sent 15 emails to him and his boss, no reply on any. called corporate office and they never returned my calls and never answered any of the 30+ phone calls i made to the corporate office. and my credit score dropped from around 717 to almost 620 after they ran me through 8 different banks that i got letters from. thanks for the hard enquires, stress and lowering my credit score. greatly apricate everything this company has done for me.

    I have credit karma app, it shows me offers for car refinancing. I was offered a great low rate of 2.49%, it said I qualified for these low rates. But when I applied, the offer was 3.63%, the offer of 2.49% was not available. NOT COOL sending people offers we qualify for and then when we apply, the offer is something else. I’m tired of these places offering great low rates and then they are not available. Poor business tactics!!

    My experience with Tresl has been TERRIBLE! My advisor was William Madison. He seemed To be a nice person in the beginning despite me having to constantly email him because he wouldn’t get back to me until the next week. After we were able to refinance my car with another institution, he completely avoided me, even literally blocked my contacts so I had to contact Tresl to speak with a manager with a different number because my number will automatically connect to him. I am yet to receive my car title back from the company he instructed me to mail it to. Also, he told me that I will indeed be receiving reimbursement for payments I made to my other auto finance company while my refinance process was being complete. He of course lied to me about that too for absolutely no reason. This man is a CON.

    First of all you have to understand this is the things you don't see when it comes to loans. If you ever applied for a Home loan, auto loan, personal loan, You're just doing most of the things yourself gathering and sending it to the Bank. The loan officer is there for guidance. James Thomas did great at his job. Loan officer are there to review what is sent and approve documents. I work in sales and I know what most loans need as a requirement. I knew what I was getting into. Overall 100% would do this again with Tresl and have James as my loan officer. Took a week which is ok with me.

    Christian got back to me quickly on email throughout, Krystal was professional/swift/helpful during our online signing session (which went by exceedingly smoothly). People have been great, service/company is docked a star for 1) having a broken payment processing system url 2) needing to hold onto the car for so long as a rental doesn't feel good!

    Upon retirement we have attempted to purchase the car that had originally been assigned to us as a company car. Tresl was given the task to handle the transaction and has failed miserably. It has been almost three months and we still do not have legal tags and registration. Tresl has "ghosted" us for weeks at a time. When we did finally receive a return call they would not call the original owners of the car and made us go to the original owners of the the car to get needed information. We have just been told by Tresl they were washing their hands from this transaction and it would be up to us to work it out with the Motor Vehicle Department. Meanwhile, we are driving a car without a legal registration or tags.

    I received a very good offer to refinance my vehicle through tresl. I filled out the application and received a response through an email that they would contact me within 2 to 3 business days. This was on May 27, 2022. It is now June 10, 2022 and I have yet to hear from anyone. I have tried to call and the automated service is very poor. I do not get any options to speak to someone, just a recording asking for the 5 digit zip code the account is registered. I do not have an account, but I put in my zip code and immediately hear music like I am waiting for someone to answer the phone. I wait and wait for almost 10 minutes. No update on how long I will wait, no update on what place I am in line, no option to leave a message for a call back. If it is this difficult to get a hold of tresl to find out what the application process is, I think I would go with a different company. I will update my review if I get any feedback from the company.

    I was not contacted at the scheduled time of initially speaking with an advisor and had to call to see if I was in the system. I was handed off to a financial advisor who had asked me to upload my documents by the end of the week with no more clarification than that. I did just that and was told by the online portal that I was now able to view my loan documents before moving forward. This was a lie as I had not been contacted by anyone, had no files to review, and was still the person initiating the processes of moving forward. As it turns out, my case was handed off to Melissa Mckinnon. who neglected to let me know the reason she needed the documents before the end of the week was due to her vacation plans. This is a predatory tactic to wait out interest rate increases at the fed. This company is a scam.

    Initially I was having a really good time very easy to apply for I went through Credit Karma you know really great rates very cheap for a month. In the application I put in I even stated I work for rideshare. There was no notification there is no nothing I said that was wrong you told me to go ahead they'll contact you. And they called me within two days I was super excited. But the second I verbally State I work for Rideshare and instacart I'm immediately refused service. Now my question is did they not read over the application. What did I even get the option that I might have received this why did they even ask me questions about where I work if they got my application. I want to know why businesses like these car loan and mortgage loans companies. Will refuse business of anybody who's not a normal 9 to 5 job. Even though I made almost 40,000 last year. Talking about how oh we don't know if you'll have money constantly.

    The advertisement I Responded to was prompted tp me by Experian. I was looking for a balance Transfer card when this hit me, Save Money on you vehicle note! The agent, Terry Hommel was super to deal with. I was exact on the documents requested and he was awesome getting my interest cut in half. I know that not everyone will have the same results, but I did. I went from a 6.6% note for 96 months and remaining 80 months to my balance on a 3.35% loan and 63 months with the same payment. I wanted to save real money, not monthly money and I did. They knocked out 17 payments, all interest and pre-payoff my truck early. They made it easy and saved me a ton of money. It was a pure pleasure to deal with Terry and I hope the other agents do the same for their customers too. Thank You Very Much for my note, Very Well Created!     I bought a car from Avis on Feb 11,2020. Unfortunately Avis has contracted this company to handle the purchase and the title transfer process. At first many employees from Tersel contacted me repeatedly to make me finish the payment. I made the payment in full, in cash on Feb 18, 2022. After that I was expecting to get the paper work at least in one week. Now six weeks later no one is interested to answer my phone call and worst of all one employee emailed me “my papers are miss delivered by USPS” however, tracking the mail confirms it was delivered to Tersel. Now I gave up and sitting quietly until they deliver me the title at any time they preferred. Any one who plans to buy a car from Avis should know this befor starting any purchase.

    I recently got my car refinanced with Tresl with Representative Aaron Greene. Everything was fine until about a week ago. I've emailed and called him nonstop with certain questions and I got a note in the mail from PenFed (some other load handling company) saying I need to start paying my car payments to them and I have no idea who they are. I went on MyTresl portal online and says the loan is not completed but PenFed is saying it is and I need to pay them. Again, I call and call and no answer to Aaron and I try to call the Tresl help line and corporate and I keep getting transferred to Aaron's direct voicemail or some other voicemail. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE JUST HELP ME!???!?!?!!

And have been approved for about a week now, only for him to tell me the vin is completely wrong for some reason and we have to start the entire process over.     I was trying to get my car refinanced through these guys. Everything I sent them information it told them almost a week to respond. If usually have to reach back out myself. Then at the end, after signing all the forms, they say they need a form from my insurance saying they are the new lienholder even though they haven't funded the loan. I talked to USAA (current lienholder and insurance provider) and was told that doesn't make sense since they aren't the lienholder yet. Those types of documents would be provided after Tresl refinanced the car from them. So just like that I wasted a month on this company.

However they needed to speak to my employer to verify employment , which I did not want to involve since this is in the personal side. That should have been something noted on the application.     Thought about switching over my truck financing to this company. My credit score is around 800. Attempted to schedule two calls for the switch over and got stood up both times. If this company can't keep a simple appointment I'm definitely not trusting them with a $40,000 loan.

    This place was extremely incompetent. After going back and forth for 3 weeks, I finished all of the documents for them to assist in the refinance of my vehicle. They stated I just have to wait for the payment to my current lean holder. This was 12/14/21. The website stated payment was being submitted. After a few weeks, I reached out to the loan officer and received no reply. I then sent an email 01/10/22. Someone I've never talked to reached out to explained that payment was never submitted, and the offer is expired. They would have to redo everything again including a new credit check. They some how lost all of the notorized documents that were completed over the zoom call and now place it on me instead of accepting they messed up.
