    Jay Rim is the best— he would get you the best price. All staffs at Hackensack toyota are super friendly and supportive. But sometimes— it takes bit long with the wait time. Compare to other toyota shops, Hackensack is the best!

    Had a good experience with sales. Paul was super helpful and kept me updated just had to do followups n check for updates. He was absolutely quick and helpful in getting documentation done. But after sales service was missing, nobody gave us a walk through of the new vehicle. The vehicle has some features which I didn't use it in past n nobody offered a walk through so bit disappointed with that.

    I am overall happy with the dealership. It was slightly harder to get ahold of someone specific and often I had to talk to multiple people. However, I was purchasing from out of state and they made it a smooth transaction to ensure everything was ready the day I needed to pick up. Jay was very helpful in answering any questions I had prior and Ramon made sure to call me the day of to make sure everything was all set to pick up. The only complaint I have and why I didn’t give 5 stars is that I was promised a lower interest rate to match the rate of our credit union. I was told the day before everything was all set but when we met with finance, I was told no one talked to him and the lowest rate he could get was higher than what we were promised (again this goes back to having to talk to multiple people). However, Mike in finance went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied by offering us an additional discount on the extended warranty we planned to purchase. Overall, it was worth the drive and I was happy with our experience

    I was looking for a car after an accident I had, I contacted Miriam and she gave me her inventory, unfortunately, nothing was available for the same day. I decided to look somewhere else since it was urgent. While I was about to sign a car I did not want at another dealer; Miriam called me to give me an offer of a deal that fell. I ended up getting the car I wanted with the details and specifications I provided. The process took about an hour since I was a loyal customer of Toyota of Hackensack. For the financing documents, we met with Mike who made the process a trustworthy experience.

    Not a great experience with this dealer. Went to them for a Camry hybrid and wanted to charge me a outrages monthly payments for a base model. Now called today 4/28/2022 just for a simple question about dealer adjustment price, and the person on the phone basically told me since of the shortage they are taking advantage of it and marking up the cars. So I wanted a Rav4 Hybrid LE and they are marking it up $4000. Person tells me every dealer is doing it. Just lost a potential customer great job. Not all dealers are doing the same thing. The honest dealers that are not doing shady business like you guys are the dealers with no inventory. I looked at your website and sure seems you have a lot more inventory then some dealers. You felt like you needed to answer because your guilty and that's it goodbye shady dealer.

    Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, dealers like ourselves are receiving substantially less inventory over the course of the last two years. Obviously, when inventory is plentiful prices tend to come down, When the inventory is less plentiful, prices tend to climb. Vehicles just like anything else are subject to the market conditions and supply and demand. Prices of many goods such as gas, lumber, eggs have all climbed over the course of the last couple of months. Any seller has right to ask for what whatever the market will bear accordingly. We were clear and transparent in what we were asking. The prices of our vehicles are clearly displayed on our website for everyone to see. Just because the price was not to your liking doesn't mean we did anything wrong. We were asked what our market adjustment was, and replied accordingly.

    Horrible experience, extremely unprofessional. I went through smart path, got a pre-approval, and had an appointment to come in within a few days to finalize contract. I get there and they tell me they sold the car. I even spoke with a representative from the dealer twice throughout the week to make sure the car was still there. They had the audacity to try to offer me another car at more expensive terms.

A pre-approval is not a commitment to purchase a vehicle. Without a deposit to hold the vehicle, any customer can purchase a vehicle that is available.     I came in last Friday to get my wheel replaced and the team working on my wheel left it dirty with oil all over. They also did not secure the hood of my car and I noticed it rattling while I was on the highway. I am a longtime Toyota customer and always get my service done at this location. I was very disappointed with the service.

    Spent half a day there to order a car. Over a month later, told order wasnt even sent to the factory yet, since they dont have an allocation. Why would you take deposit without having allocation? Asked for refund, told would have to come over again. Waste of so much time. PS. Came in for refund, conveniently credit card machine is not working. They maybe be shortage, but your salesman said these cars go for $8000 over sticker, you will not honor original sales agreement.

    Due to supply chain constraints, the manufacturer can only produce so many vehicles. With less production available, the manufacturer is distributing available allocation across multiple dealerships. No one dealer has open "allocation" that it assign itself at will. Its at the manufacturers discretion on who gets what and in what trim. The dealer can only request a build it has an order for and wait for the factory to fill it if and when its possible. The salesperson you worked disclosed that a build would take time to which you replied "you were not in a hurry." Even if the factory had taken the build request right away, its a 3-4 week transit time from factory to dealership from date of production. Perhaps you should temper your expectations more in line with what's transpiring within the market.

    This is my 1st ever experience with any dealership but I am honestly telling you it was the worst experience. The 1st reason is that their interest rate is way more than whatever they told you over there at 1st glance. 2nd don't take finance with their own Toyota financial resources they charged way more than any other bank so I am disappointed with this dealership and their back door is clug with mud when I drive it in 1st rain door was filled with water so they never checked it before sell it.

    Had my 2021 Highlander Hybrid in for 12 month maintenance. The service dept. personnel were pleasant, professional and quick. My card was ready in under the estimated time. The vehicle was clean and ready to go. I must also mention I purchased my vehicle from the same dealership and highly recommend them. Was a great experience in every way.     PROS: This is the greatest dealership I ever set foot in. The customers are friendly there, the staff is always wanting to help, and my salesperson-Armando is a very trustworthy guy who I became friends with over time. I bought my Corolla from them and there wasn't any unusual problems with it. The layout is great in a newly renovated building, the bathrooms are clean, and there's even a children's play area. Plus the fact they have a lot with over 400 cars...biggest lot of any dealer CONS: Despite saying they honor true car value I had to fight with them to honor the price of my car quoted on the website. I also witness the mechanics telling customers that they need new parts when the customer really doesn't, that way they can make money. In their showroom, there really isn't anything to interesting. It's just a bunch of pre-owned cars, never usually anything new & interesting. OVERALL: I definitely would recommend this dealer to any Toyota fan! They have the staff, they have the largest inventory selection, and the atmosphere and the customers are nice. The mechanics have to speed up the process of routine check ups and they have to stop cheating people out of their money, but overall, its great.

    We had wonderful experience leasing our Toyota C-HR at Toyota of Hackensack. Jamil was extremely helpful and helped walk us through every step in the process as well as directing us in getting our auto insurance settled as well. I recommend anyone looking to purchase or lease go to this location.     Worst service experience I have ever had to go through. I have 5 Toyota cars and have been coming here for over 20 years. The quality of service has really deteriorated these past couple of years. Not only do they forget to do things like replenish fluids etc but their customer service is absolutely awful too. Service Supervisor Cedric comes off as abrasive, arrogant, and disrespectful. Very sad to see. Will have to look for new Toyota service dept.

    This place is spectacular! I've purchased 3 cars over the years. Their service dept is great and Jose Alvarado, our salesperson has proven to be honest, fair and transparent. I trust him enough to send friends and family directly to him. When my wife or I bring our vehicles in for service, Jose greets us and makes sure we get coffee and our car is taken care of.     I had a bad experience with that dealer, in a few words “do not trust them” They selling me sienna 2022 LE, absolutely, the price was 3k additional to MSRP, here is what happened on my contract, - they didn’t tell me or give me $500 rebates from Toyota unless I figured the number on my contract and called the sales manager then he refunded me - they charged me for an optional insurance that I am not required to do, then the sales manager refunded me after along discussion -the financial agent told me that extended warranty with Toyota, then I figured out that that warranty is with a third party company not Toyota -I went to cancel my extended warranty and I signed the paperwork but they did not send the cancellation form to the third party company from 02/12/2022 until 03/02/2022, so I was paying interest for that canceled contract until now -finally, they declined to refund me the sales tax for canceled extended warranty, Toyota rebates, and optional insurance until now, Consumers, please be aware when you sign the contract, take your attorney or your accountant with you, Updates: the third party company advised me to email copy of cancellation request from my side directly, if the dealer is irresponsible,

    Thank you for your feedback. Since vehicles are in short supply everywhere, several vehicles have market adjusted prices for purchase. We have been as transparent as possible in regards to the pricing we offer on vehicles. We are also aware that we are asking less than some dealerships in regards to the market adjustment they are charging. The dealership does not charge for optional insurance products. If anything, it sounds like we might have an issued a refund for one of the dealer fees charged simply as a courtesy. In regards to the warranty cancelations, the process may take 30 days or longer to process depending on the institution. Cancelations and credits for warranty cancellations do not occur instantaneously. Customers are afforded opportunities to read and review documentation during the sales and finance process. If there was a concern regarding the purchase, you were welcome to bring to the attention of any of the managers during your purchase.

Ana gave me multiple test drives of the same vehicle(Supra 3.0) when other dealerships were not offering a test drive of some vehicles less than half its price(Honda Civic Type R) .Special shout out to Paulo Almeida for helping me out with the delivery of the vehicle. 5* Sales, I am very happy. Unfortunately that is not the same with the finance department. WATCH OUT!!!! I work as a Data Scientist for a finance company. I don't think they knew that and thought I was a noob (I am a recent graduate and may be that painted a picture of a scape goat?). The loan options they presented to me was 'predatory' and a complete rip off. I understand we are all here to do business and make money, but these were unacceptable standards. Overall, sales is one of the best experiences. Walk in with your own finance options and you will be good to go.

    I bring in my Highlander for front passenger tire issue, the guy on the front desk look at the system and told me I don't have warranty most likely I need to pay for what ever is wrong with the tire. So after they look at it the technician said the tire is been punctured and need replacement, so I told them to check again if I have warranty they said NO, but I know I have warranty so asked him if I could get the paperwork in my car to show him I have warranty and I was right. So my question is how come the system doesn't show I'm covered and had warranty? If my wife bring the car in then she would have to pay according to their records. So before you bring your car in check if you are covered otherwise they will charge you...

    My husband and I had a great experience here at Toyota Hackensack. Melissa was the one who took care of us and she is was so pleasant to talk to. She made the process smooth and easy and on top of that, she gave the best price for us. She laid everything out and explained the breakdown of the costs.     I was apprehensive going to buy a car at a dealer. It was used, I did my research and even secured my own financing to help speed the process along. Alex greeted me and was very friendly. He let me test drive the car right away and quickly started my paperwork and trade appraisal. I was not is only client that day and he was juggling 3-4 clients at once. He made sure to check in if I was waiting longer than 10 minutes to update me. They gave me what I wanted for my trade with no issues. They were able to match my loan rate with their in house offering and streamline the process. The insurance rep was very friendly and helpful. Once finance was ready for the process went quickly. Mike explained everything completely and answered any questions I had. This is by far the best dealer buying experience I have had. I would come back here no problem for another car. The car only had one key and they were unable to locate it so they ended up giving me money off the car to cover the replacement cost. There was no fight about it either. Smooth operation and painless process. Thanks to everyone at the ToH team.

    My car kept getting a new problem every time I went! I came to the service section for a sound my car was making and I know nothing of cars to go to another shop. The first time it was the brakes, then the water filter(?), then my tires. And now it’s the splash guard dragging. I thought I wasn’t going to get scammed but no repair shop is safe. Also, I made sure to ask for a diagnostics test to get a list of all problems with my car and none of these came up.

    Stephanie we’re sorry to hear that you are having difficulties with your vehicle , but unfortunately these issues are problems with the vehicle that go unseen by car owners due to neglect and sometimes road hazards. We are the professionals and we can tell you that a diagnostics test does not let you know whether your tires or brakes are going bad or have any kind of problems these are things that are visually inspected unless of course there’s no air in your tire which of course a tire light indication will show that there is low air pressure.

    Horrible and Unprofessional Customer Service. I came to them to order new Toyota. Sales person started to add to MSRP additional fees. Some of them were regular (like registration), some just optional, which he declined to remove. When I decided to think about them a bit and check with other dealers around, that sales person became very upset, arrogant and rude. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. When dealership keeps such sales people they will loose customers and orders. I left them, drove 15 mins to other dealership and left deposit for a new car there.

    This is horrible dealership. They don’t have any answers and are completely unhelpful. I ordered a car and they cannot tell me where the vehicle is. I have to constantly call them rather than them giving any updates. They gladly took the deposit money to hold the car. They told me that the car is going to be on hold for me. Now they cannot provide any information on where the car is. Do not deal with this dealer or Jose Rodriguez or Ariel from Sales

    this place was The worst experience for my girlfriend he had to take her car back 3 times for then to fix it 2 times she was lied to to come and pick up the car which was not done because once they said it was done and got there and then was told that it wasn't 2nd time was to pick up car and the parts were not ordered right so again I was turned down and had to ride a 1/2 hour in traffic down 46 back to little fairy and I did not feel safe in the lunar car they game me my experience adds a Toyota of Hackensack has been what are the dramatizing experiences in my life if I didn't sign a contract to Elise to had this car and had to get it fixed at this Toyota dealership I wouldn't have it at all I hope this will wake up this man at this dealership Carlos and let him know what a wreck he has put on one of his customers sincerely yours truly

    I’m a regular here since I bought my car a few times at this place. This time, under a warranty, I left my car here for repainting. However, I’ve called a few times after 3 weeks since they said that my car will be ready to go soon, but they started to ignore me every time I called them. Right now, one month has passed, and I still don’t have my car back! I’ve had another experience a few months ago where they told me that I have to fix my tire, but after fixing it, I realized that my tire did not need fixing at all. They just stole my money. I’m not buying my car here next time. I don’t recommend this place to anyone unless you want to be ignored.

    Meriam helped me get my car and so was incredibly wonderful! She is very responsive to questions, and worked really hard to find me a car with a manual transmission that I wanted (she eventually found the car I wanted, over a hundred miles away and had it brought to Hackensack for me!). In addition to this, she was very transparent with pricing from the beginning, and was able to give us a great deal.     My husband and I are extremely experienced car buyers. We have excellent credit and walked into Toyota of Hackensack knowing what we wanted. Our sales person, Alex, was wonderful. But that's where the good experience ends. When we were ready to talk financing. We were given a number for the APR and were satisfied. We then proceeded to wait over three hours to meet with the person in Finance. Turns out he didn't even come in until 2:30PM, we were ready to finish financing at 12:30PM. Besides the wait, our APR changed, which Steve failed to mention. He also didn't print all of our paperwork. I was so blind with hunger, I couldn't stand to deal with his stories about helping his daughter move, politics, and how tired he was. He could tell me all his personal life but not the bait and switch of our APR change. The deal nearly folded when he found out I had four kids and told me I should by my husband a television. I drove home to find that there was definitely something off with the vehicles alignment or tires. It only appeared when going over 50 and there was no way to find that on the test drive. Turns out the shop had massively overinflated one of the tires. I'm glad I didn't have a blow out on the Turnpike. Additionally, we bought from out of state. The person we needed to talk to at the dealership regarding when our plate arrived, apparently never works. After emails and phone calls, our sales person Alex finally found our plate on someone's desk and mailed it to us. We received it, all bent up, the date before our temporary plate was due to expire. Toyota of Hackensack offered to pay us the difference from the APR issue (which took several emails and phone calls to even negotiate that). And right now, it's been three weeks and we are still waiting on a check. We can't get ahold of anyone after multiple emails and phone calls. Buyer beware - if your sale will be easy and straight forward, then you may not have a problem. If you have a question or a need assistance beyond a sales person, you will likely need to live around the corner to harass them. I will never buy from them again.

Customer plates and registration are always stored at the service receptionist or what we call the "front desk."     My experience with Toyota of Hackensack couldn’t be better. I had to bring in my vehicle to be serviced after my catalytic converter was stolen and Louis took care of me. He went out of his way to get me set up with a loaner car so I didn’t have to miss work, his communication during this whole process was exceptional.     What a joke here from service to sales. Take my car here for service they always try to rip you on maintenance when it’s a lease and overcharge you for stuff you don’t need. Only go for service cause it’s close to home and always say no to any extras. I thought I’d give them a try for a new car. I’ve tried them before but never get anywhere. Let’s see 5 years later things don’t change. Sells rep doesn’t even properly introduce himself just says you know everything is 4K more now. Cars take longer to get there. Excuses no attempt made at making a deal. I’m currently at prestige signing papers to make a deal which I told the rep I was okay with waiting. Literally a 30 minute deal. Very profesional, introduction right away will recommend people here.

    I was fortunate to encounter an excellent salesperson when I recently purchased a car at Toyota Hackensack . But after the initial purchase I discovered how poorly run this dealership seems to be. When I arrived at the appointed time to pick up the new car, it took over two hours of waiting to get the paperwork processed. I finally got a brief introduction to the special features of the vehicle and was handed a packet of materials. When I returned home, I discovered a “Checklist” of all the steps the dealer was supposed to complete before giving the vehicle to the new owner. That checklist was supposed ti be signed by the dealer and by the new owner (to indicate completion) . That checklist was never completed. Subsequently, when I took my new car to my local auto shop for the required inspection, i discovered from them the the new car had not been properly prepared by the dealer- the tire pressure on all tires was excessive, rubber caps that were supposed to be installed for anti-rust purposes had not been installed, and more. I further discovered that attempting to contact the dealer by phone with any question I had was hopeless. Each time, the persons I phoned were not available. No one responds to phone messages requesting a return call. In sum, it appears to me this dealership is strictly in the business of selling cars. After the initial sales contract, customer service is a lost cause. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM TOYOTA HACKENSACK AGAIN. (I’ve removed the license plate bracket that indicates where I purchased this new car with the hope I can save someone else from such a negative experience.)

    I tried purchasing a vehicle recently and was so terribly disappointed. They pulled my credit and took my credit card number down. They said they will take the deposit which will reserve this vehicle for me. The vehicle arrived at the dealership a few days later and one of the managers there apparently decided to keep the vehicle for himself! I was obviously upset so they said we can try to work something out. I never heard back from them. Every time I called, nobody was available. Do not recommend this place.

    I received a discount coupon for an oil change and tire rotation. I used the coupon. When I got home I discovered that you overcharged me by five dollars. The work here is very good but the service advisors seem to change very often and they don’t really show much enthusiasm.

    Let me start of with saying all was good at first but as my services kept increasing and as my car warranty got close to expire the service started and kept getting worst. My last service was the last straw. Took my SUV for an oil change and a roof leak (2019 rav4). I got there and was told that i will take the full day to diagnose the issue. I asked for a rental and they didnt have any available, so they gave me an ultimatum, either stay stuck in the service dept all day or leave and re schedule. Decided to stay, I had to go to the office and ask for Uber reimbursement and they couldn't even offer me that. Once I was there for half of the day they said that the roof leak can't be taken care of and that i have to pay 1k plus for the repair. this issue came from factory!!! May rav4 have this issue! They did had fixed it before when my car was under warranty and now that it wasn't they rejected the fix. Dana was whom took care of me and she did nothing to accommodate me. Terrible service and not worth wasting your time here. Go elsewhere. They treat you like you are not worth their time specially after your car is out of warranty.

    This car is for my teenage son. After asking several times about the mechanical condition of the car I was told "excellent shape, the mechanics didn't find anything wrong with it". Drove 3 hours to pick it up, drove back home to find out the clutch was slipping, the thermostat was clogged with rusty coolant, the brake lines were rusted, the slave cylinder was shot, it barely held idling, a hole in the exhaust system (see attached photo) and a cracked CV boot (see attached photo) . I contacted the dealer to let them know, they didn't even call me back. I was left with a car full of issues, I now have to spend more money to get it fixed. I was expecting honesty from a dealer of that caliber and presence. I don't get how they let customers drive away in an unsafe car. Why would someone run a business like that?

Every time I do to fix the problem it cannot be fixed , they keep fixing everything else “that they think is causing the issue” yet I’m having the same problem.     I have been going to Toyota of Hackensack for many years and I normally lease vehicles. I was in a lease and I decided to purchase the car. I already spoke to Toyota Financial and had the purchase price of the vehicle. Toyota charged me a higher price for the vehicle than the buy out amount. Than they added on these extra fees. When I asked about these extra fees I kept getting the run around. First I was told it was a Lease Buy Out Fee. Than I was told I needed to pay a Disposition Fee. They have made up all these added fees. I know I should not have taken the car and paid for it but unfortunately it was during a snowstorm and I wanted to purchase the car and leave . I guess because I paid cash for the car they took total and complete advantage of me. I called two other dealerships to ask about these so called fees and they have never heard about this before. I was told by Toyota of Ramsey and East Coast Toyota that you pay what you owe on the car and any DMV charges and NJ sales tax for the car. There are no hidden fees AT ALL PERIOD !!!!! TOYOTA OF HACKENSACK STEALS YOUR MONEY!!!!! DO NOT GO TO THEM!!!!! I have made numerous attempts to contact their management. They will not get back to me. I called Toyota Financial to report them and I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

    Let’s start off with the experience was okay with the sales person Ariel. I would buy a car from him but the manager is What pushed me into a 1 star review was when I asked for the manager on the date of 1/26/2020. I was told that “he doesn’t have time to waste”. I feel like as a consumer a manager should always make time when requested. His actions were unprofessional so I walked out. They have three cars with the price of 18,995 but the one I wanted was crashed in the bumper. Was not as displayed. I understand it’s a loaner but the manager refused to have any leniency with the price. The photos online were not as displayed. I wouldn’t have fought the price if the bumper was good just like the other three cars. See photos. Ultimately Ariel did a great job.

    Came here after getting a flat on the GW in my RAV4. The service person I dealt with when I drove in the car was extremely annoyed I didn’t “have an appointment”. Once I finally got to a cashier, they had to pass me to another cashier, then finally ANOTHER cashier just to find my Toyota care account. Not sure why the first two cashiers weren’t adequate enough to find my account? But each person I dealt with seemed extremely annoyed and frustrated. Maybe I’m still reeling from changing my tire on a bumper-to-bumper GW, but the attitudes I received at this service center felt unwarranted and incorrectly directed at me. I can promise I won’t be back.

If you decide to wait, their facilities are spacious and comfortable. If you decide to pick-up, communication is clear and concise.     The labor cost on the work order was less than $100 which means the time it took to swap out the dysfunctional radio/nav system and install the new one was less than one hour. However, even with an 11:00 appointment, my car was not ready until 4:45(that was after 2 phone calls from me to service to get an update). Then it took 1 hour for the shuttle to pick me up(another 2 phone calls from me as I was told the employee was getting gas and would then be picking me up). I live 9 minutes away. I finally got my car at 5:55. Inexcusable! This is by no means efficient or satisfactory treatment of your Toyota car owners. Two issues I have with the car I have had since I purchased it from you last Sept. and I dread having to bring the car in for service because I know it's a looooooong wait! But when the radio and nav system were malfunctioning I knew I had to come in while under the warranty period.

    Nick at the service department was awesome and super helpful. Made me feel comfortable and at ease. Pretty much the majority of people I interacted with from service department were all cool, friendly and helpful. Nick just went the extra mile cause i think he can tell I was nervous, and worried about being over charged. Which I was not overcharged. Thank goodness.     This is a no-nonsense dealership, which is a rare gem in the tristate area. I had the pleasure of working with a long time sales consultant, Paul, who provided me with a full schedule of fees, worked with me on price, and most importantly, respected my time.     Made an appointment yesterday to have 1 tire available today for a tire change. After an hour of waiting susana says they don’t have the tire and I have to come back another day that the tire isn’t here. Re-checks and finds the tire. Then I wait another 2 hours. At this point I’ve been there for 3 hours for 1 tire change. I told her I don’t even want the wash since I’ve been here so long she tells me next time to call parts. No, it’s not my fault where the person that picks up transfers me to. That’s not what u tell a customer. After all that they didn’t even fill the new tire with air and now its 22 less then the rest …seriously do better.

    I just bought a car from Toyota of Hackensack and I am extremely happy with the service I received. Jim Loscalzo was my salesman and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a stress free experience. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the vehicles I was interested in. Right now dealerships are experiencing issues with low inventory and Jim went above & beyond to get the car I wanted.     Sales people are not very responsive. I bought all of my cars from them but for some reason when I was looking for a new car, they are not too interested. Made several calls and I am able to get a response from their manager and one of the sales person but after our first discussion, they have not called back on the items we have discussed. I even called and left messages and they have not responded. I've decided to go to East Coast Toyota and I was able to buy the car that I wanted. I hope their senior management reads this feedback since they just lost a loyal customer.

    I came to Toyota of Hackensack because of all the excellent reviews I found online. Figured this dealership had a good reputation so this was where I wanted to purchase my new Toyota. All I can say is the reviews were completely accurate! Upon arrival I was immediately greeted. Ana Mayers worked with me to put together my new 4Runner build. She did not try and sell me something I didn't want; instead she worked toward understanding exactly what options and color I wanted. She then outlined what the next steps are and what the expected timeline for receiving my new vehicle would be. Ana kept me updated throughout the build wait time. When the vehicle arrived at the dealership she worked with me to prepare the necessary documents for finalizing the purchase remotely via text and email. When it was time to pick up my new vehicle I was nearly in and out within an hour. I can't say enough about the team at Toyota of Hackensack. From the sales team to the finance team, it was truly a pleasant buying experience and I especially appreciated everyone's professionalism and dedication to meeting the customer's demands. I would strongly recommend this dealership to any of my friends or family members.

    Purchased a vehicle from this dealership about a month ago. I was dealing with Jay Rim, he is definitely not a person I would recommend ever working with. He was terrible with phone calls, emails and updating us on any information. We came all the way from NY to NJ to pick u our vehicle and it was paid for a week prior from us getting it. Arrived on site and our vehicle that was already purchased everything signed was not ready to go. No detail or anything. They couldn't even find the keys for it when we arrived. Sat in the waiting area for over 2 hours and didn't even get to deal with Jay. Jay had pawned his dirty work onto some poor lady who was extremely nice to us. She unfortunately had no idea what was going on. We are still waiting for our check that Jay assured was mailed out 2 weeks ago and here we are... still no check. Overall I would stay away from dealing with Jay. Dealership is nice and prices are great.

    Thank you for your feedback. You initially started your process in the internet department where Jay works. He is not a salesperson or delivery specialist. So he did not "pawn" you off to a salesperson. The salesperson initially to have your vehicle detailed and delivered ran into a emergency the morning of your delivery. Hence Ana did her best to assist you in light of situation that morning. As far as you assertion, that Jay did not answer phone calls and e-mails, we have documentation that every voicemail or e-mail was answered with a phone call or return e-mail. Just because someone happens to not be available at a given time, does not mean they are not being attentive. It just means they are busy. Your review also conveniently fails to mention that it was Jay was helped resubmit the finance contract once your mother-in-law locked her self out and he did have refund check cut for you. We decided that since plates were going to be ready in a week, we would mail both check and plates together. We wonder if he was truly as unresponsive as you claim, how did he assist in both the contract resubmission and cutting your check?

    They wanted to charge me $90 for an oil change that I got at Toyota Universe for $50. They settled on $65. Waited little over an hour and a half which is too long for an oil change. Due to price and wait time, I won’t be back.

    the salesman from toyota lie to the customer to close the deal ..I was told they were selling me a new demo car each mean one of manager was using car. for the whole while I was asking for car fax and salesman don't worry man i get you after you sign there paper.ok that car fax was never given to me.so on next day i went to the manager ,so that was when my salesman john ramier i think that how his name is told that car was sold but the ladies gave back the car because her husband pass away of covid 19 ..ok so i was tricked because he told was demo and this is not even the beginning after i found out about all this. they told me after i asked since the car had a previous owner i don't get 25 thousand free service each is oil change for free.. my advise to anyone who wish go to this dealership is be careful they are not people that you can trust in my opinion they are just like that phone call from scam like..be careful when go there they are not a good people that was a 55 thousand dollars tundra the i bought new, with no free service that every new car has..so this was my bad experience with this place. i will never buy a car there ever ever ever again dishonest people.

    Dropped my car off at 8:30 am per appointment and it’s 11:30 am just for a oil change. When I got to my car they didn’t even do a car wash, just like the last time. I forgot that this happened the last time as well. Nice place but not organized.

    I LOVE my new rav! I had a great experience at Toyota of Hackensack. I was looking for a fairly new certified vehicle. I was greeted by Miriam and she informed me the vehicle was still waiting to be transported from the auction it was purchased at but that we could do pricing and wait for it to arrive. She gave me a fair value for my trade and after test driving a vehicle and sitting with her, I knew, sight unseen, that this is the car I wanted! She was so informative and worked with my budget. Unfortunately, the car took over 2 weeks to arrive, but Miriam kept in touch with me the entire time. The car came but had some damage.. Miriam’s team repaired the vehicle way beyond what I expected and I completed a deal that evening! Miriam made my car buying experience easy. Thanks again!!!!

    I walked into Toyota with my dad unsure if I wanted to buy or lease a vehicle. My lease was up on my Kia mini-van. I knew I needed third row seating but I didn’t know if I wanted another van.     The car buying process can be arduous at best, but Armando and the rest of the staff I dealt with at Toyota of Hackensack made it a breeze. Armando is fantastic. He didn't try to push me on a car I wasn't interested, because he genuinely cared about finding me the car that I wanted and would make me happy. Armando found me the EXACT car I wanted -- year, make, model, and features -- and kept me informed every step of the way as I waited for my car to be delivered to the dealership. I was apparently “checked in” and told I was “good to go and to wait”. two hours later, i go to follow up why it’s taking two hours for a service appointment.
