I STRONGLY suggest you pick any other Toyota service location (I recommend DarCars in silver spring!) because the staff I interacted with lied to me, did not mind risking my safety, and told me to another Toyota to fix an issue they had the tools to address. I chose this location because it was closest to me for My 10k inspection. Earl is my advisor. I sit for two hours or so and am called into the shop because my tires have locks on them and they would need me to locate a key for them. I cannot produce a key for the tire locks (my original dealer never gave me one), so I’m told that they cannot complete the service and I will need to go back to the original dealer for them to address the issue. They give me a receipt that says that they HAD COMPLETED all the service requested and sent me on my way to the original dealer. The real issues are apparent as I visit the more competent service professionals at DarCars Toyota. The advisor I’m paired with at DarCars encourages me to call this Toyota because- within 1 min of my car showing up they were able to determine (1) there are no tire locks on one side of my car and (2) the locks on the other side are Toyota locks which are removable by Toyota servicers. My advisor encourages me to call this Toyota back to figure out the miscommunication. Now the lady on the phone- if I had her name I’d put it here but she was the most infuriating person I’ve ever interacted with. I had one request- and I was very polite- I told her I had just came from there, I needed to talk to my advisor Earl to discus the car issue because my advisor at the DarCars Toyota was confused about why service could not be completed. I was on hold for 30 mins, with this woman popping on to the phone every 3-5mins to say a combination of the following: How can I help you? Earl is with a customer He says that the tires are locked Please hold These responses would repeat as if I was talking to a new person every time. I explained multiple times that I needed to speak DIRECTLY to Earl, and was only being told the same information over and over that “he says this” and “he says that”. Eventually the advisor from DarCars request to speak to a manager, because at this time it was obvious that Earl was dodging my calls or the Customer service lady had no intention of ever connecting me with Earl. We are told from the manager that Earl is not in the building at all. I share that the woman on the phone just told us that he was with a customer. He shares that this cannot be possible because he is on his lunch break and likely 5 minutes from returning. At this point I’m very frustrated, I have no idea who’s lying to me- but thankfully my advisor at DarCars takes control of the situation. She requests Earl calls her asap to discuss the car when he returns. My DarCars advisor gets a call back shortly, and explains the situation above hitting on the following points (1) There are only locks on one side of the car, this is a safety issue you should’ve flagged during your inspection. You should’ve notified the client of this (2) the locks on the other side of the car are Toyota locks. As a Toyota service location you should have a master key. You would’ve been able to complete this service if you were more attentive. (3) You did not document that you did not preform the services as described on the receipt. I need confirmation that this receipt is not correct so we may preform the services as described without additional charge. I cannot speak for Earl’s response but I was told by my servicer that this was an easy fix and truly shows the incompetence of the service professionals at this location. DarCars Toyota got my car in and out within the hour with my tires rotated + new locks installed + a key for the locks. This Toyota is a location to AVOID at all costs. Luckily there are a few other ones around here, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere because you may have to be sent to another Toyota ANYWAY to have your service completed.

I've brought my car here for years and it's been well taken care of each time, but I'm giving 5 stars especially to Alex, the service manager. My wife and I, along with our 15 month old, got a flat tire and managed to get near the dealership. When the wheel wouldn't come off the car, I walked in and asked for help. Alex kindly came over with another employee to help us finish changing the tire and get safely on our way.

Called the service desk and got an appointment at 09:30 on Monday morning (nothing available for Saturday). Needed to investigate “check engine light” and get routine maintenance done. At the dealership, cars are haphazardly parked at the entrance to the service bay, no one to control traffic or greet customers, much confusion as to where to go. Inside, no control what so ever with many people standing around. Not sure what is the point of an “appointment”?! Finally got to talk to someone behind the desk and was informed the service center does not have any Hybrid Mechanics to work on a Prius. Do not know how this location has the rating that it does.

Very bad customer service, The sales person hang up the phone on customers, and she did it twice for no reason. You can't really do business like that and they don't even have a system to see who you have spoken to, they are kinda covering each other's mess. The sales Manager has to fix those kinds of issues.

The black older guy in his fifties is always friendly and nice to me. He is been there for decades and he's very experienced with questions. He worked in service and I have known him for years and I never asked him his name. The older brown skin lady is always nice. I think she's the receptionist and cashier. Friendly people at the dealership and very caring.

I don’t know if some one care or something at this point is worthless but this place is so bad , I went to buy a car I ended with a Rave 4 2018 it was bad a lot of problems I spend 2 day to get a car full days they just don’t care unprofessional I just went back to return the truck they have all my account info card info they didn’t take the money out because the person on charge was sick so later they call me I miss my payment and I was busy I had to take my husband to the doctor and they call me to drop the truck back I was like wow ..! They said I miss my payment so I ended dropping off the truck and when they see me and explain they didn’t know about the card on file and agreement so at the first was so racist to my husband and me my daughter trying to explain the manager he walk away it was a lot going on thank god is over the financial manager was so mine so yeah no way to go back to this location

Sold a car with a TPMS light on. Prior to leaving the lot, the light was turned off which was a temporary fix because the light turned back on soon after. In addition, the tire of the car continues to go flat, which tells me that nothing was fixed when it was taken to the garage to get the TPMS light turned off. Several times this dealership has failed to replace the tire and certify this car as it should be. Frustration is growing with the unprofessionalism.

I feel very upset, If there's a negative star that's what I will give to Toyota Certified at Capital Plaza. This is my 2nd vehicle I am getting from this dealership and it has been issues from day 1. I got a Toyota RAV 4 2021 with a clean title only for me to get home to see the car was just painted to look clean, and the vehicle has been involved in a previous accident that wasn't reported. The bumper is loosed brought it in to be fixed. they had my car for 2 weeks with no rental given to me and the bumper is still the way it was when I took it in. I had a very good APR on the car, Mr Ken the Manager just keep promising and nothing will be done. A vehicle I just bought I have changed tires because the front suspensions are bad. I am spending money on a "new car" the guy doing the alignment told me this car was in an accident. I just feel very frustrated. I have been very patient but now I don't think I will ever want to transact business with this dealership anymore.

Ladies avoid this man by any means Idris Afolarin necessary. He’s nothing but a con artist who finesse women to sleep wit him rather than helping them get a vehicle as he’s employed to do. My fiancé came to the dealership to purchase a vehicle while I was overseas serving my country. He pressured my fiancé for months and eventually ended up having an affair with her. One may say this post seems personal, however if Idris had maintained professionalism and had respect for his wife and kids this review won’t be necessary. Moreover the deal on the vehicle was horrible could have gotten a great deal somewhere else.
