Tower Loan Johnston St, Lafayette

I signed up for a 12 month no interest loan through a different business that had used this place to issue the loan. If I would have taken longer than the 12 months while paying the minimum payments my interest rates would have been around 30% and I have good credit. In order to pay online you have to pay an extra $2.40 a payment or go into the location and pay in person and not have to pay extra. In a time where most people don't carry cash, this is extremely inconvenient and a poor business practice. One time I went in to pay, they had writing on a white board about bonuses for who can issue out enough loans. I'm sure this explains why I started receiving one call every month or two asking if I needed a loan after I paid it off. I asked them to please not call me back and the person on the line's attitude changed and they said ok and hung up on me.

Stay away from Johnston St. location in Lafayette La! The staff is so unprofession! They will call you everyday regardless if you're late or not like no joke everyday dang day. You will end up paying double if not triple of what you borrow. STAY AWAY FAR FAR AWAY. Never do business with these ppl again.!!

Some lady came to my house said she was the manager I told her I went through a hardship ain't she telling me she going to come back with the sheriff and take the stuff that's on paperwork from my house to pay the loan off I told her I wouldn't have the money until the weekend I can give her something then and she demanded that I pay her buy Wednesday and she kept on threatening me and then when she was walking away she said have a blessed day they are very rude stuck up never heard of a loan company coming to your house to collect a debt

Tower Loan is a great company and they have helped me and my husband out a lot! I had an unexpected change and wasn't able to make some payments and I spoke with their manager he was very helpful. I was very stressed with life at the moment and explained my circumstances about my husband and I...... I been reading reviews about the company and some of the reviews were quite scary. I must say that those who talk down on TL must be those who are behind, do not explain their situation nor talk to their managers. I can't speak for everyone else but my experience here in Lafayette has be above standards. I will definitely recommend Tower Loan.

Do not do business with this company. Go to Advance America. They dont try to RIP you dry like these people do. Trust me I had 26 monthly payments at 133 a mth and I paid 3 months. They make your first payment due two months later. My 26 month loan was 3354.00 for 26 months. I ask for the pay off for the 6th month they told me 1811.12. Then my account still said I owed them after I sent out the pay off check. Now they saying I owe 1900.00. Please tell me how 26 month pay off is 3500 but its 2000 if you pay it off in 6 months.This company is a RIP off. Dont do it. PLEASE GO TO ANY OTHER LOAN COMPANY. LOOK AROUND FIRST. ITS WORTH THE WAIT AND YOU WILL SAVE TONS OF MONEY.

They keep coming to my house and the person they're looking for doesn't live here! I've spoken with a manager several times because they won't leave and I'm filing a report with the police.
