This was my FIRST time EVER going to a pawn shop and i told the guy behind the counter (who welcomed me, AND gave a quick greeting to, EVERYONE who walked through those doors), named Chris and omg!!! He was INCREDIBLE to work with! Not only was he EXCEPTIONALLY knowledgeable about how to tell what something is worth, if anything at all, and the different types of "inventory" they can/will or not accept, difference between loans/sells, the whole process itself from time limits before u can buy something back, partial payment, Apr, extentions, grace periods, etc.... but he was kind and PATIENT enough to explain EVERYTHING to me, most of which without me even needing to ask! Like he already expected certain questions. Lol. But yeah, at NO POINT WHATSOEVER did he make me feel like a burden or waste of time. He was pleasant, courteous, well informed, seemed almost happy/proud to show off how to tell somethings worth, or just that someone is taking an interest. AND the payout was MORE than generous! I DEFINITELY and HIGHLY recommend 👌☺️👍

What's good Top Dollar? First and foremost, it was an absolute delight visiting this business, from the time I entered the store. Immediately, I was greeted by Kelly and the Young Sir with the nice ink on his arm. Kelley jumped straight into let's get you taken care of. She handled business like the true professional she is. The business is very clean and bright, making the experience that much more pleasant. Kelley explained what steps she was performing to ensure the quality of the item I presented for a loan. I was actually surprised, but happy to know I would be able to receive what I needed and actually more. The staff is friendly and easy to talk with. They were so welcoming to me that they helped to ease the stress I was under when I first arrived. I shared, how this Pandemic has had a negative impact on me. The staff expressed genuine concern and the World could use a whole lot of that right now... Compassion. I’ve never been to a pawn shop before. I went here today and the staff was so professional, friendly and courteous. We laughed and talked like we were long time friends. They’re pricing is fair. They do not low ball! They actually look up your item to see what its selling for today. I plan to clean out my attic and basement and take it all to them. Top Dollar lives up to its name. I was able to pawn merchandise at a rate way better than others were offering; they even accepted my counteroffer with no issues. The staff was very professional and courteous, and even offered me advice. I think they have just gained a permanent customer!

Great customer service!! They were prompt in answering questions and working with me. I will definitely work with them again to sell or buy because they took the time face to face to ensure jewelry was real and top quality. As a seller this was beneficial financially and in turn the buyer knows what they are purchasing is quality jewelry/items. My experience was pretty awesome with this place. I purchased a guitar and received a great price with a lot of free goodies thrown in. Chris at the Waldorf location was very nice and made sure I was informed and comfortable with everything that came with my purchase.

My husband and I have....well really just me...have been looking for a pair of diamond earrings for me for Christmas. We had stopped at servers other pawnshops to face terrible customer service. Of course we decided to keep looking. So when we walked into Top Dollar we were greeted promptly and a sked how they could help. First let me say Zach was great. He helped me find the earrings I wanted. He was funny, professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend working with him when you come in. The entire team was nice and created a warm inviting atmosphere. If you’ve never been to a pawnshop start here. They are friendly, fair, and you won’t have a sense of uneasiness.

John was awesome at helping me a TV I needed. It was listed as a different price online than in Store but John stuck with the advertised price. He was very nice and helpful. This place is absolutely horrible!!! The men in this location will try to screw you while you are in the store !!! No respect for women and the men will definitely treat you like you’re a piece of meat with their comments about you . Makes you feel very uncomfortable. You would think that it would be addressed and handled but come to find out that big black man that works in both stores has a problem with using his authority to belittle the women that come in there. You should be ashamed of yourself

This is my go-to spot! You can find anything here! Whenever I’m in a jam, they’re always fair with loans and pawns. Mike is very knowledgeable about most of the products that come into his store. I’m a producer/musician with 24 years of experience and allows me to have a lot of knowledge of my equipment. It’s frustrating to come into a pawn shop and because the workers don’t know what your product is, they devalue it! Not Mike! He knows his stuff and one of the greatest all around guys! His staff is very pleasant and friendly, which surprisingly is not common! I like to purchase most of my gear brand new, for purposes of warranty’s but every once in a while, I’ll go to Top Dollar and they’ll always seem to have something that I’m either in need of or have been looking for. I’ve purchased everything from bass guitars to tv’s here! One of my favorite stores! They make you feel like family! They’ll always have my business! Way to go Top Dollar!

Always a truly nice experience when I enter the store. Corrine Flowers has always been spot on for my shopping needs. She is always pleasant and even notifies me when an item that I am looking for becomes available. I suggest this pawn shop mainly because it's friendly levels of customer service, but also for the added value that their pricing brings!

Chris will be honest with you, ask for him. There is an overweight African-American man that works there that will try to rip you off. He he offered me $120 less for a ring that I brought in there a few days before I met Chris. Be very weary of this place

By far my favorite pawn shop! And not all locations either. This specific location. I’ve been doing business with this Waldorf location for almost 6 years on and off. They always have GOOD QUALITY GEAR that pro musicians can come and luck up on. I pawned a few of my items when my family and I moved back to the DMV from Charlotte and they were items I’ve had for over decades, I’ve put my personal sounds into my modules, even been nominated for Grammys and won multiple other awards from the music I’ve rendered in the industry. I had to pawn these items when to move into our house. I missed my pawn date to pay and it was put out on the floor. My chest started beating fast, my wife was trying to calm me down but all I could think about is all of my work… over a decade worth of work gone. Even though one of my items were sold, they worked it out and made sure I got my stuff back! When you know you have quality gear and you’re a professional at what you do! What you lose and what you gain matters! Said that to say, even though I had a loss, I am confident I’ll gain something better at Top Pawn in Waldorf! That’s how confident I am in their staff and their merchandise!

Great pawn shop! Usually have a variety of tools electronics etc. I bought a drone here after a little research I discovered it was mis advertised as the wrong model. They sold it to me for less than they paid for it! Flexible prices!

Very positive experience. Staff very helpful. Their layaway plan makes holding and purchasing items extremely convenient. Also found that the store is large, uncluttered and well lit which only adds to the overall buying experience. They are super organized and friendly! Everything in the store is clean and sorted in different sections as well. They helped with a pawn and broke everything down where I didn't feel like I needed to ask a million questions and made me feel as if my necklaces would be safe and taken care of. Top Dollar Pawn & Jewelry, (in the Waldorf, Maryland location) prices are so reasonable and out of this world. When I was there the staff treated customers with kindness that came in the store - they made you feel like family. I can say, the service was superb, great, and with honest negotiable quotes - I'll be back! Like I said above, having a good staff is hard to find like sales associate - Mike. He treated us like superstars and gave us negotiable quotes. He was superb in helping my husband and I! His service was great! I Love coming here!! The staff in the “ WALDORF” location is amazing! I would like to give a SPECIAL shout out to two of my FAVORITE people, CORRINE & MIKE the manager. First, let me say this... It’s hard when you have to come to a pawn shop to stay above water or get back on track. However, from the 1st day I met these two, it has been nothing but love and respect. They never once judged me, or treated me any different because of my situation and boy did they get me out of plenty of them for the past couple of years. So, if ever you find yourself in a bind and need some assistance please go and see them. I’m certain they will assist you to the best of their ability with the upmost respect and professionalism.

Very professional and pleasant environment where the staff take the time to remember your name. No matter how busy the store get, the staff remain professional and continue to provide great customer service even when dealing with difficult customers. I never leave unsatisfied...even if the store doesn’t have an item, the representatives do what they can to please the customer. This may mean going above and beyond by calling to the Eastover location to confirm whether or not they have that item...which can either be held for you or picked up by an associate and brought back for you. Last but not least, the prices are very reasonable with or without the price haggling. I highly recommend Top Dollar Pawn.
