Tom is an extremely helpful and insightful agent. Made me feel at home within 5 minutes of meeting him. Highly recommended!

Our 60K insurance claim for water damage was denied by Tom Rossman /State Farm as they stated "someone turned off the gas valve INSIDE your heater". This statement by Tom and his HVAC tech was preposterous as if there was intent to cause this damage there were many other ways to easily shut off the gas, (outside meter). This insurance agent does not prepare you for New Buffalo MI. winters. They will gladly sign you up without warning you of the significant POWER FAILURES that regularly occur or advise you on how to be proactive with sensing devices to give you advance warning. ServPro water damage tech states "we are experiencing dozens of water damaged homes PER YEAR and most insurance claims are DENIED". Why wouldn't insurance companies demand appropriate power/sensing backup devices prior to accepting their business? This issue has been going on for years and Tom Rossman CLEARLY knows this issue is severe. "Someone turned off your gas inside your heater. Was it you?" Tom, I will never forget how unprofessional and unethical you are. I have owned many homes and dealt with many insurance agents in many states. I've never made a claim on ANY of them. Why would I shut off the gas and ruin my beautiful home in Michiana? This is the worst experience anyone can go through regarding insuring your home. I would NEVER recommend Tom Rossman or State Farm Insurance.

Warm and friendly office for your needs. Tom actually came out when our house was burning to assure us that he and his office was there and not to worry about the future. Lol “Like a great neighbor, State Farm is there” you were Tom, Thank you again.

My family has used state farm for as long as I can remember, I've also gotten to know Tom well personally through my many years in his 4H group and he plays a huge roll in the community. I can't name a single harder working individual.

I have been with Tom ever since I first started to drive my own car. It's been 40 years. I live in Michigan where the rules are very different from most other states and insurance costs are always higher here. So, just a few days ago my brother in law wanted to see if he could get me a better deal on my rates. We called his agent and after only 15 minutes of discussion , she said, "If you can get insurance like that, I say "Take it and put it in your pocket and run!" "I couldn't even come close to what you have." I rolled my car over into a ditch one winter and needed physical therapy. At the clinic, the lady who handled insurance was astounded at the high quality of the coverage I had. She asked me for my agent's phone number. So, no, I don't go insurance hopping. I know my life-long friend, Tom, has my back. My whole family and my grown children have their insurance with him too. I don't need some lizard to sell me insurance.

The best word to describe the Tom Rossman State Farm team is AMAZING!!! Amazing people that are amazing listeners with amazing experience and amazing advice providing amazing products. Is that redundant? :) Well that describes the team at Tom Rossman State Farm. I have been using them for decades, and I would recommend them to anyone.
