Tinker Federal Credit Union Lonnie Abbott Blvd, Ada

Reviewing as a employee of another financial institution trying to speak with a representative of Tinker Federal Credit Union. I waited on hold for 35 minutes before my call was answer, after having to hassle through the laborious automated phone menu. Not impressed. I hope they help their members quicker.

The managers of this branch are completely unreasonable and unhelpful. Go someplace else. Tinker should really reconsider the higher ups of this branch. Employees here are treated like garbage as well. Overall a horrible place.

Don’t answer phone ever. Should stick with the job they know a little about anyway. Instead of trying to get into something obviously know nothing about.

4.5 if I could, I rarely give 5.0. very helpful, efficient, transfer banking or other banking advantages between other credit unions when you are away from home on trip. Do not need a specific branch that you can't find. Hugh advantage! And more,

Good bank I guess if u live close by . Moved from.area but told no problem u can still do everything online transfer, picture deposit etc . Everything been going great even deposit money order but now system screwed us . Will not take 3 money orders cause they don't recognize us postal orders due to all security decals wow . Here we go on a 7 hour trip just to make a deposit B4 thinfs start boucning. Highlt disappointed . Get it fixed tinker . Can't get better than usps money orders . Ugh

I have used Tinker for years and really like them, but since moving South this Ada branch I'd the closest location to me. I couldn't reach them over the phone like I can in OKC. I had to walk in but they were open at 4 when I got there. Staff seemed nice.

My husband and I have been with TFCU since 2009 and would not change banking institutions for the world. Everytime we go in, we are greeted with a smile and whatever we may be there for goes fast efficient and smooth. The staff is amazing. Always on point and excellent to chat with. To us it feels like family when we go in by how we are treated.

Took over an hour to fill out the online application. Received an email Application denied. I called they have no record of our application. I just put out SSN and DL numbers trusting Tinker Federal Credit Union with my personal information!!! They have no record!! I wonder who has all our information!! I wonder how it will be used?! Now the girl on the phone says I must go in to an office. And she must make the appointment for me. Customers and potential can't contact the offices.

I've been with TFCU for about a year now, it began with them financing a motorcycle for me. In early October I got a call saying that I had an outstanding balance. i had my payments on auto, come to find out I had failed to provide proof of insurance. No big deal, I could call allied and provide it to them. So I did, problem solved.... not! I get a call a few weeks later that I still had a balance. Less than half of the premium they charged me had been refunded. I still owed them $600 dollars for insurance that I'd proved I had through Geico (which is $200 per year).the customer service reps refuse to tell me why this is, I've now talked to three of them. They're best answer is to give me the pay off, they'll make the money they want and move on to the next customer. Great service guys. I'll definitely be moving the loan and will not recommend to anyone.

Don't know why TFCU only has a 3.2 Star Rating overall, because Tinker Federal Credit Union is a 5 star business in every sense of the word. Friendly atmosphere, helpful employees, quick and easy. Everything I look for, and more, is provided at TFCU. Glad I made the switch 10 years ago!
