Called within 2 days of receiving the vehicle we financed with Tidewater and inquired about our satisfaction with our purchase. If we were pleased with the car, were there anything we were not and when I told them about the tires needed to be replaced and a problem with in turning off they said they would reach out to the dealer and have those problems addressed which they did and the problems will be fixed. I was also informed that if I needed their assistance in the future they were there to help. The person I spoke with was very cordial, informative and pleasant to talk to. Looking forward to doing business with them.

Was a present experience. They got me into a nice car with low miles and a low down payment. Communication with the company is spotty tho. When trying to call it’s hard to get ahold of someone unless you leave a message. It’s been close to 3 weeks and I still have not gotten my welcome letter letting me know how to pay my bill. But all and all a good company for nice cars.

I received a really great customer service! Christina my loan officer took the time and unexplained my loan information to me.She also gave me her extension so that I could call her back and ask any questions that I had. A few days later she actually checked back with me to see if the dealership worked out the conflict I had with my car after the purchase was complete. Awesome!!!

So happy with the efficient transaction. Could be even more efficient on transferring verification info already submitted to dealership to transfer over to tidewater, felt like I had to do double work when I have my own full time job to do. But other than that super kind. And I’m pleased.

Tidewater came through for me when nobody else would. I received a lot of flyers when I filed bankruptcy but Tidewater actually made it happen. I love my little Buick Encore! I needed a second chance and Tidewater was willing to give me a second chance.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. Website is never working for the consumer; setting up access to your account. Always states information does not match their records. But seems to TAKE a payment with no problem, using the same damn information! So how does that work. Someone left me a voice-mail the other day stating it's imperative they speak to me. I call them back almost immediately, only to get "please visit us online, via chat or send us an email. A live agent is not available right now. Seriously people, get it together!

Was cool to get a restart but the only thing is from an hour into the process my apr. Changed three times with no explanation or dealer that i was working with was not being honest either way nice to have a fresh start but still high on their apr. Across the board and the zero down program not worth it at all unless you want to pay 850 a month and up for a note but overall thankful for new start

They keep trying to take money out of my account that's not there when I already paid my carnote and sent them proof of it. I really wish I could get out of this loan. Because I pay my carnote everytime it's due. And make it seem like I'm not paying my carnote.

I am a new customer of Tidewater Finance, although I have only spoken with a couple of representatives each encounter has been pleasant. The staff is very helpful, friendly and it was a pleasant exchange. I recently suffered a financial setback and was having difficulty finding financing for a vehicle, Tidewater accepted my application and provided financing at an affordable rate considering my current credit status. I was informed by the dealership that the President of the company personally reached out to them to lower my payments because he felt that they were too high. I was also offered the option to split my payments in half each month. I have never had such a positive experience with a lender. I will continue to sing their praises.

Works great with you when you have the loan...but as soon as they found out we wreak the car and was working with the insurance company. They did not wont to work with you anymore. I understand they still need to pay but I wasnt asking for anything they hadn't done for me in the past. I wish I could talk to someone from corporate on this matter.

I have been trying to reach TFC for 3 days, each time I call it says there are no live agents available. They implemented a new $10 payment processing fee this month and now the payments don't seem to be processing!!! I made my payment 3/18 now a whole week later it still hasn't drafted from my account and I can't speak to anyone to find out what the delay is

I paid off my loan of $1,300 in July 2020. I never missed a payment. I never had a problem with them. They sent me a bill and I paid it online, that was the extent of our business relationship and that was fine by me. I had a low credit score and the still approved me easy, no hassle, no co-signer. They gave me credit to purchase a new bed(which is still comfy btw) and I paid them back. Simple as that. I called them one-time just to get a balance and the picked up the phone, let me know how much I owed and I said thank you, bye.
