I had financing fall through with another lender and sought out Tidal Loans help for another loan. I had submitted roughly 6 different applications online and all but one (Tidal Loans) have reached out. Angela was able to get me a Term sheet less than 24 hours into the process. Although they were not able to help, their professionalism and sense of urgency will have me coming back for all of my hard money loans. Angela, thank you so much for your help and I look forward to doing more business with you in the future.

If Ruth Martinez answers the phone RUN FAR AWAY. Her lack of knowledge on her company's offerings and programs cost me over 2 weeks of lost time and my 4k EMD on a purchase. I cannot stress this enough, if you are a serious investor looking for a lender. Don't come here. Also, The 1 star was because they wouldn't let me give less.

My loan rep was Angela. Working with her was fantastic. Whenever we had any bumps in the road she was right there to help me get out of it, and speed my file along. Love this team!

This company and it's staff, to include management is a joke! They jeopardize clients earnest money and they send approval letters of loans without verifying ANYTHING from a buyer! There is Staff that has experience in underwriting but aren't proactive to make sure they have everything they need from a client before handing an approval letter. As a professional Realtor I would NEVER recommend this company or its staff to Tidal!! Buyers, Do your research before using this company. And please be open to getting a second opinion from an other company.

Just closed on a short term rental refi with this group. What attracted me was the low rate and not needing to show tax returns. Was happy that when I got out of underwriting my rate did not change on me like it has with other lenders in my past experiences. Would definitely be using them for my next short term rental refi!

TERRIBLE is not the word. Wish I could give them -10 stars. I’m a very reasonable person but when you take 3 months to close a normal loan nothing fancy, I don’t know what to say. No idea where things are in the process. Doesn’t know ETA of when things will be completed. I just kept hearing (we are waiting for underwritten, waiting for underwriting.) They screwed up the entire loan docs right before closing had to redo it all. I mean maybe this was just a bad day for them but I honestly think they are brokering and not a direct lender like they say they are. NEVER WILL I USE OR RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN.
