Keeping us updated on where we were in the lending process the entire time. We had very little communication from our builder. Tyler was kind enough to take time to address our concerns on builder delays. Explaining what the builders were facing due to COVID and supply chain issues. Without Tyler and his team we might not have had the patience with our builder to see our home come together. If you like communication and great customer service the Tyler Osby Team is who we recommend!

Dave and team were exceptional. Chelsea made sure our documents were in order, and we received an email every week with an update of how things were going. I’m late to the party writing a review of The Tyler Osby Team, but Tyler never was late in responding to my questions!! He and his entire team are very responsive and knowledgeable. They always treated me as if I were their only client (even though I clearly was not). If you are shopping around for a home, Tyler and his team are some of THE BEST in the biz!! I highly recommend giving him a call. Plus, he’s super funny and makes the process fun! 😁

As first time home buyer, I had no idea what to expect going into buying a house. Tyler and his team walked me through everything step by step and were always there to help if I had questions. I had a tight closing window and they were able to make it happen with very little stress. Would highly recommend!

Self employed? Don't waste your time. I was actually referred to Tyler & his team by a family member who used him and was very happy, unfortunately we didn't have that same experience and were greatly disappointed. My husband is originally from another country but has lived in the US for decades and is a self employed business owner. He came to Tyler & his team as a first time home buyer wanting to obtain preapproval for a conventional 30 year loan with 20% down so he could start to look at homes. He was the perfect borrower on paper (credit, job history, you name it, everything was in line and beyond) but this place was so difficult to work with and couldn't get him a preapproval. My husband's English isn't the best but as a first time home buyer you would think they would of been a lot more helpful and patient with him, maybe even invite him to the office to sit down in person but no, they just quickly wrote him off and were on to the next. I was shocked at how easily they dismissed and discounted him with everything he had to offer as a borrower. But everything happens for a reason because he quickly got preapproved by 3 other lenders shortly after Tyler's team let us down and we are now the proud owners of a new construction home that we just closed on with an amazing 2.8% interest rate! Tyler and his team couldn't make it happen for us but there was other people who did. The only thing I can say to explain our experience is either they lacked experience in handling self employed borrowers or he was discriminated against because it simply doesn't make sense how 3 other lenders went on to approve him and as a result we have officially closed on a brand new home. Either way I just wanted to share our personal experience.

From begging to end, our mortgage process was flawless. Mr.osby spoke with me yesterday about a possible refinance on my home. Just by speaking with him, he didn't sound thrilled I wanted to switch mortgage companies. He sounded a little arrogant and cocky. Acted as If I didn't know what I was talking about and I wasn't good enough. Didn't get a great vibe! Not sure how all the reviews on here are a 5 but I wasn't impressed. Mr osby said to me only the wealthy can co sign. Not true. I was able to co sign for someone and so are my parents and we lived modestly. It doesn't take rich people. This guy is all about $. The second conversation with this guy didn't change my mind about him lol. Everything he has said to me is very contradicting. He wanted me to delete this review so he didn't have to defend himself in order to respond to my review and im completely ok with no response. But I'm not deleting this. You can tell he doesn't come from small town hillbilly iowa.

We are SO THANKFUL to Tyler and his entire team! From start to finish, they explained things to us so we really understood what was being done with our money. The process was very smooth and we never felt hesitant to ask questions – at any hour of the day (shoutout to Jason for the 9 p.m. text convo on a Friday night!). This is the fourth time in seven years that I have used Tyler- two home purchases and two refis. You will never find a company with better customer service and communication. Truth be told, I was tempted to use my builder's lender this time around, as they promised to save me all sorts of money. In true Tyler fashion, he pointed out many "loop holes" and missing parts, that were actually not going to save me much money at all. AND, for the items that they were able to save me some money, Tyler matched their offer! (Did I mention said lender quit in the process?) Moral of the story, go with the person you trust. Tyler and his team were excellent to work with. Not exactly on-slogan, in our case, but they were a thorough, and knowledgeable mortgage team, very responsive and willing to help with any and all questions. My only complaint might be the number of reminders we received by email to leave reviews, as early as before closing day, more on closing day before the paperwork had been signed, and repeatedly afterward. Amidst travel for our move, unpacking, and settling in, I would have been content to be reminded less often. But I realize that is an important part of how they gather clients to also do good work for!

The whole experience was great!
