The People's Federal Credit Union Sw 15th Ave, Amarillo

Applied for a loan with good credit scores , a current loan with the CU and good income . We got the run around for more than 2 days speaking with several different officers that made us feel like we where wasting their time. They ran the wrong amount we where asking for , claimed we “we didn’t need the loan”, and said we weren’t good enough customers. No loan officer gave us a legitimate reason for their decision. The manner that I was spoken to was a first for me as disrespectful, belittling, and extremely rude. TRUST ME there are plenty of other institutions to pick from in amarillo SO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE . We applied for a loan somewhere else and got approved same day for more money.

Nothing but headaches and stress from this place. If nobody answers your call within two minutes it will hang up saying there busy and to try again. There will be at least three attempts before anyone answers. I've went from being the next caller in line to being the third in line while on the same call.....How does that work. They can't seem to figure out where my proof of insurance (binder) is when i have sent it to them three or four different times, so they start charging their own insurance. I got my truck refinanced through another bank thank goodness but no surprise when they call me saying I'm late on a payment.....Really my local bank paid it off, Guess they lost that check too. Your better off being broke or without a car than getting a loan from them.

Could not use my debit card..... I paid a car bill on the phone then went to get money order for house and I couldn't do it at the supermarket and there was a line. It was a very inconvenient. I'll bet it don't happen to them. On top of that they changed me $25 to open an account I ant my $25 back now I have to see customer service and they don't answer the phone. Don't get involved with them .....I know I will not see my $25 and that's my money

Please DO NOT DO LOANS WITH THIS COMPANY! I paid my vehicle off ahead of time over two months ago and they continue to draft money from my account. Each time I call, I get terrible attitudes, hung up on, and treated like an idiot. They added a false charge to the end of my loan after I paid the vehicle off. No one there seems to have the knowledge to fix anything. Jamie is rude, Caroline treats you like you are wasting her time even though they have taken thousands of dollars that I don’t owe. Then they got mad when I filed a stop payment/fraud activity on my Wells Fargo account that they keep stealing from. I paid off my loan ahead of schedule, in full. All I want is to be done with this company, but they just keep stealing. Please DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!

The loan was fast but they tact on their insurance to all of the vehicles already fully insured and refused to acknowledge all attempts faxes and personal delivery of proof as well as notification from the insurance companies. This has been an ongoing struggle for months.

Often having problems with their systems and not good about communicating before adding charges. Currently facing an eviction notice because I haven’t had access to my paychecks for 4 days due to system failure. Last year I wasn’t able to pay a New Year’s Eve bar tab because of a system failure. Highly suggest you don’t keep all of your money here. Or even most of it for that matter.

I have an account and have done 3 loans through this bank...no issues...I collect certain notes and change as hobby. I drive up with $250 in $1's and ask them to exchange them for $250 in 1's from the 15th street location. Guess the lazy chick thinks I'm an idiot because after taking 10 minutes for the "exchange", she gives me back the same money back, only in their banks security wrappers instead of mine. I'll make sure to go in and watch them next time. It wasn't hard.

I've been with PFCU for a few years. Heather and Britney are awesome! Always on point with everything! I recommend this place to all my family and friends.

The loan officer there helped me in just an hour. I was really surprised when she took care of my loan in that short amount of time. Really happy with the service I received and will do more business in the future! Keep it up!!
