I cannot say enough good things about our Loan officer, Starla Kizzar! We closed on our Second home with Starla and were extremely satisfied with the entire process and outcome. She is a woman of her word and will deliver results. She makes home buying seem much easier when you feel like the world is about to end :/ Starla outlines exactly what she needs from you from the beginning so you don’t run into any issues down the line, and can tell you upfront if she can get the loan approved or not. She works around the clock on your loan and fights for you at all times and defends your best interests. She is very attentive- always has an answer and a solution to any concerns or doubts you may have and will be in touch with you via email and phone with updates. I have dealt with several loan officers and mortgage companies before, but by far Starla has proved to be the best at what she does, she is with you every step of the way! Excellent experience, once again, doing business with Susie Malsam at The Mortgage Co. I met her three years ago when I purchased my home and contacted her again to refi. She is terrific and goes above and beyond to explain every step along the way. Susie was extremely helpful through out the whole process of getting my loan approved. She is very patient, capable and knowledgeable with her work. I strongly recommend the Mortgage Co. especially if you are a first time homebuyer like I am.

Absolutely the worst mortgage experience I have ever had!. Totally not satisfied. Let me begin by saying they do not have the best rates. I only worked with them, because I had worked with the broker before when he was at previous companies and he would always make sure that things went smoothly for a more complicated transaction. This time it seemed like it was made especially more complicated and had to pay more for it. He also was not truthful during the process, especially when I was about to switch due to all of the required documentation. Almost 3 weeks after the CLOSING/FUNDING they call demanding more paperwork, including some they specifically said I did not need and threatened default if I did not provide it. Some of the paperwork does not exist and some I do not have. All of it should have been asked for before closing. The owner then calls me, but whenever I call back is not available, even though he says call at my convenience. Their website says they have a satisfaction guarantee, although my broker never mentioned this even though he knew I was not happy. With all of the stress and hassle why pay more for poor service. There is no reason to go with them if you are going to get poor service. Note: After the was written I was able to finally speak with the owner who did apologize for the issues and issued a check for a refund of the underwriting fees.

We have worked with The Mortgage Company, and Cathy Keady specifically, on two home purchases and at least two refinances over the last 13 years. Our most recent transaction was particularly difficult. Cathy assured me and my wife that she does not give up, and she managed to navigate through significant complexity and uncertainty to help us buy our dream home in Buena Vista. We will continue to take all of our mortgage and home financing needs to Cathy and the team at the The Mortgage Company.

Susie is second to none. Very stressful time in my life and Susie and her team helped eliminate the stress. She was direct in what she needed from me. Willing to help when I need more information.
