This place is amazing! It's the only waterfront rental property in the Chattahoochee National Forest and it goes without saying, a hidden lil' gem. The management crew is receptive and they generally respond to maintenance requests within less than 24 hours or so. Although you are in the city, living here feels like you're in the wild in the best possible way (a lot of cute deer). The condo community has a salt water pool, personal dog bath station, dog park it's own kayak/canoe dock, amongst many other amenities. But don't take my word for it, come check it out. :)

Our apartment flooded five times within the ten months my husband and I lived at this apartment complex. Our living room flooded pretty much every time there was a heavy rain, and we'd have to move all our living room furniture into other rooms of the apartment. One time when it flooded, management didn't respond for 36 hours despite our phone calls to the emergency line. We were finally offered the option to move into another apartment, but for a higher monthly rent (no apartments our size were available). No other compensation was offered. Then when we moved out, management sent our deposit refund check to our old Lodge apartment address rather than the new forwarding address that we had provided. When I tried to follow up with them, no one called me back. Additional issues included that the bathroom lights stopped working for the last several weeks we lived there and that there were a lot of cockroaches. The only pros of living at the Lodge were kind neighbors and a pet friendly community.

I have absolutely loved living here. From the oversized bedrooms, walk-in closets, and being located right on the river- this is my favorite place to be. The dock is amazing and I paddle board every day weather allows. The reasons for 3 stars is because the apartment doors aren't fully sealed and roaches make their way in from time to time. I have lived in both a one and two bedroom here and while roaches were more problematic in the one bedroom, they still made their way in in the two bedroom. Beyond this, the reason I deducted another star is because they are being extremely knit picky at move out. After submitting my nonrenawal, I was immediately called and informed I needed to fill in all pin holes created (including holes created by thumb tacks) or be charged $10 a hole. Never in my life have I had an apartment complex do this. Seems greedy and petty, esp when a coat of paint would cover up holes that tiny to begin with. Anything they can do to make a quick buck. Finally, while there are lockers to have packages delivered to, the lockers stopped beign used around November 2021. Ever since then, all of my packages have been left loose in the package room and I am forced to dig through everyone else's delivery's, not to mention a package could easily be stolen. And if the lockers aren't going to be used, I would rather my packages be left on my doorstep.

First of all the new property manager is very rude she talks to people like we’re kids “lady we are grown”…… Another situation….. i came into the official to talk to the property manager?????? And i asked her a question and she replied back to me in front of other lease holders “ i really don’t have time for this” So on my way out other lease holders stopped me and said she is very rude and i should report her to corporate…… so i was going to do it until i asked the property manager for corporate number and she refuses to give me the corporate office number 😳😳😳😳 I REALLY LOVE THE COMPLEX BUT THE PROPERTY MANGER HAS TO GO AND I HAVE AT LEAST 12 LEASE HOLDERS AS FRIENDS THAT LIVES IN THE COMPLEX THAT AGREES WITH ME… NOW EVERYTIME I GO TO THE OFFICE SHE HAS AN ATTITUDE OR PASS ME OF TO ANOTHER GUEST WHO WORKS IN THE OFFICE BUT IM STILL SEEKING CORPORATE OFFICE NUMBER 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️

My wife and I recently visited The Lodge. It is beautiful!!! Having the Chattahoochee River on your back doorstep, PRICELESS! Being pet owners of 2 fur babies, we were instantly sold on the dog park and trails. This hidden gem deserves ALL of the flowers! Thank you, thank you, thank you Phil for making us feel at home. We had endless questions, but with his patience, we felt at ease while applying. Also, thank you Tiffany and Lou for being so kind during our visit. They all truly care, and it shows! Can’t wait to move-in!

Update: The Lodge took out a full month’s worth of rent instead of the appropriate amount as I was moving out on the 11th of Dec for my last rent payment . They then claimed I never submitted my move out notice , fortunately I had email proof . They assured me i’d be sent a refund as a check and asked for my forwarding address which was left in writing. They confirmed I was owed $1,080 after the inspection . Weeks passed and a check never arrived . After calling - they stated that my forwarding address was THE LODGE ?! and not my correct address . How does that make sense? I gave them my correct forwarding address AGAIN on the phone and emailed them . It’s been almost 2 months since i’ve moved out and I’ve still yet to receive my refund . After contacting them again via email, I’m being told that the finance department is unresponsive. I can not discourage anyone enough from moving to this complex. The apartment itself is nice , I appreciate the river and the staff is friendly in person but the service is terrible . Maintenance requests take a year, the amenities are not well cared for (gas missing at the grill , gym matt disappears and never gets replaced etc) and the staff is unresponsive unless you physically go into the office . If you call and are not looking for a new lease , the phone is not picked up (called about 10 times on different occasions and the phone’s been picked up once .. left voice messages and calls are not returned ). Today I left work early to try and make it to the office by 5:45 (office closes at 6 supposedly ) to ask a question and staff was already gone . Lights CONSTANTLY go out . As it stands, I have no plans on renewing my lease. Please provide me the full email where I can contact someone . My name on the lease is Manuela Castro . Thanks .

The Lodge is a nice place to live. The apartments are very spacious for the price, and the leasing staff is nice. There is a dock where you can fish and a secure package receiving center for USPS packages. My biggest complaint so far is that the sinks are a bit shallow in the kitchens, but otherwise the kitchen space and appliances are very nice. Our apartment also came with an in-unit laundry which is very convenient! The apartment also seems to be relatively soundproofed from other apartments connected, which is nice.

I have lived at the Lodge on the Chattahoochee for over 7 years. The property is very conveniently located near GA 400 and MARTA train station, which makes for a mostly hassle free commute into the city. I also love the fact that I can get to all of the nearby cities within 15/20 minutes. The property itself is very beautiful, well maintained, and sits on the Chattahoochee River. Over the years, I have enjoyed the amenities (kayaking on the river, sand volley ball, gorgeous pool). The gym also overlooks the river, so it makes for a nice view, especially in the summer time, as lots of people are on the river. Being a resident for over 7 years, I have seen this property go through several changes. I can honestly say that the current changes are great. The current management team is excellent!! They are very friendly, professional, and prompt. The apartments have been upgraded to include wood flooring and stainless steel appliances. I recently moved into an upgraded unit and love it!! From time to time, I have looked at other communities for comparison. No other community in the area offers the convenience, serene setting, amenities, and price/sq foot that the Lodge offers!!

The people who live here are nice and management seems nice in person or if you can get them on the phone. Service overall is awful though. They don’t call back or respond to emails and you have to repeatedly go to the office to get even minor repairs taken care of since the online request system doesn’t work well. I moved in nearly 4 months ago now and we are still fighting to get repairs they promised would be fixed the week after we moved in. I would not recommend moving here. BUT if you do, be prepared to go to the office between 10-6 multiple times to argue with them about any maintenance issues you have. Definitely don’t move in if they say things will be fixed soon after you move in- they will lie and say anything to get you to sign the lease but there’s no follow through. Dog park is nice

Lived here from March 2021 to April 2022 and LOVED IT. We lived in a "Suwannee" Apartment. (2 bedroom 1 office 2 full bathrooms). It's easy to make friends in the neighborhood. Once you move in you wont want to leave until you buy your own place. Our apartment was super spacious (~1,600 sqft) and had vinyl flooring that looks like realistic wood. The rooms are spaced out and the layout flows so well with the kitchen being in the center of the apartment. Even on the bottom floor of the Suwannee apartments you get so much natural light. Our floor plan had 2 bedrooms and an office, however, it feels like a 3 bedroom apartment. If you are an outdoors person, this is the neighborhood for you. During the summer, everyone is on the river kayaking, tubing, etc. There is even a 1-2 mile hidden trail that leads to the nearby park. In the summer its well shaded and perfect for hiking on a hot day. We really appreciated the dog park since we have a super energetic pup. This is definitely the place you've been waiting for if you're looking for a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. If you're not renting the townhomes, FOR SURE, move into the Suwannee! It is The Lodge's best floor plan hands down. If you can get an apartment at building 12, THAT is The Place to be.

I recently moved in and for the most part have only positive comments. Tiffany has been a great help with getting situated here. Whatever minor issues were present in the apartment were fixed quickly and the virtual system to note down repairs has been great. Bryan one of the maintenance workers knocked out 3-4 work orders all at once. The proximity to the river and the location are great. Close to the highway without feeling like you’re in the city. Plenty of dogs which is nice to know since my girlfriend and I hope to get a dog soon.

Living in Luxury! Ever since I decided to live at the Lodge on the Chattahoochee I have experienced five star treatment. From their amazing staff, to the cleanliness of the apartment grounds, we could not ask for a better place to live. It is such an engaging community of people where everyone is out walking their dogs, and hanging out by the river. I always feel safe at the lodge. The maintenance staff is quick and reliable! We love the new updated appliances and floors in each apartment. I would recommend living here for anyone whether you are single or have a family of five or more! Everyone is so welcoming. I also highly recommend that you give them a call so you can get in on this before they are all gone!

My husband and I moved out back in July of 2021. We have been in contact with multiple different people over many months regarding our refund check and we keep getting multiple different excuses and still have yet to get the refund check back and it is the end of February 2022. I would not recommend this place and would avoid if you have any intention of getting your money back when you move out.

I moved into the lodge six months ago with my wife and our puppy. I am so glad we chose this place! There are so many wonderful things about this place. We love the pet friendly community, and all of the people are wonderful. We love the layout of the community and all the living options we had when first looking here. The location cannot be better in this area. You can rent kayaks which are sweet and this complex also has really wonderful staff and they throw community events that are always really nice! The maintenance staff is great. We had a leak in our apartment from upstairs and they came several times over the weekend to ensure that they resolved the problem. The only complaints I have, and I can hardly call them complaints because they don't effect my actual apartment but there are two things. 1) many outside residents use the pool and sometimes it gets a little crazy. I know that the staff here really had tried to enforce this more through the use of wristbands but on the weekends it hasn't been overly successful. 2) the grounds are beautiful no doubt about it. But sometimes if you live at the back or at the edge of the property sometimes the junk gets pushed from the bigger lawn to ours, for example we get a lot of wrappers and when we walk out of our apartment it is just dirt and some ivy not kept up as well as other areas. Which is doable and not most important at this time. Just would be nice to have grass in the future!! Overall this has been a wonderful place to live we have really loved it and plan to be here for many more years!!!

Overpriced and terrible service. Since living at the lodge their has been two new managers and the newest one just quit as well as the assistant manager. Package locker was always closed as they kept our mail hostage. Trash piles up at the trash compactor to the point it flows into the parking lot. After moving out we were sent a bill 6 weeks later that was not based off of what previous management that quit told us it would be. After disputing, they said that was our lease agreement and you must pay. Would NOT recommend the Lodge.
