I’m in awe with place! I still CANNOT believe it! If I could give them a million star review I would! I had a 2001 Mid Set 2001 Lady Rolex that I wanted to to sell since it was only collecting dust on my nightstand. And got such a great offer that I was dumbfounded with what a great deal I was getting. Also had a 18K ring that I sold here and got ANOTHER great price!! This is the place to sell your gold, Watches, and more! Jose and Paul are such great people to deal with. They are 100% honest, trustworthy, and professional!

This place is smaller than it looks and less well stocked than you might imagine if you're just looking at the outside. There are, however, a lot of parking spots behind and next to the building. Inside it's the all too typical low ceiling, bad lighting and inartfully stuff piled all over that most pawn shops are. Add to that, if you're selling something, pretty much the same fumbling with and mumbling about whatever it is isn't what it seems to be nor worth what you thought. This is a tired game and it's on TV and on display at King Pawn in a big way. The guise is, careful purchasing but one look around the shop and through the display cases and you'll see that's not the case. It's just part of the game to get you to take whatever terrible offer they make. Also, enjoy the damage they will do, and they will, to whatever it is you bring while they "evaluate" it. They won't ask. They'll just do it and shrug. Well, you weren't taking that thing to another store now, were you? In other words, they claim to be friendly and they are, but they're also not that good at what they do and they'll lowball you all day long. Sure, you think you're smarter but you came to King Pawn so how smart are you? Smart enough to walk out before buying or selling anything? For your sake, I hope so. The best way to beat this pawn shop is not to ever go inside.

Picked up a bass guitar here last week - I had visited a half dozen pawn shops and the service here was the best. Staff were helpful but not pushy, instruments were fairly priced, atmosphere was relaxed. Great store!

My Experience with Kings Pawn is always a Professional one. Everyone at this Company are Friendly and Courteous which makes my visit a happy one. I have been doing business with Kings Pawn for a few years and the Employees are wonderful on a daily basis, and that's my experience. I would gladly recommend Kings Pawn to my family and friends.

I went in to King's Pawn today and it was my first time in a pawn shop! I don't really know what I expected but what I was greeted with was a bustling shop with friendly faces, an engaging staff, and a variety of items that were priced well. They also seem to have a ton of deals going on this holiday season (not sure how it is the rest of the year) and I'm really contemplating going back in the next few days to get some items 35% off and potentially win some prizes! Highly recommend King's Pawn for customer service, variety of goods, great deals, and some interesting items.

First class all the way! I needed a loan and brought in 3 higher end guitars. They gave me top notch dollar for all 3 of them so I could obtain a loan. Leaving my guitars in strangers hands makes me extremely nervous, but the staff was so kind and gave me reassurance. 2 and half months later, I went to pick them up and they were in perfect condition. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to work for you. I've done a loan with them twice now and they have been nothing but supportive and friendly. This is the only pawn shop I trust. I had never been to a Pawn shop before, I called ahead of time to see if they were interested in a Guitar and other items. Ross was super personable over the phone, very kind and engaging when I got there and explained how it all works. I was really happy to have some extra cash for my sons medical bills by getting rid of material items laying around the house. Had a great experience at King's pawn. They had the best customer service of any pawn shop I've used. They were polite and attentive and they gave me a great price for my silverware and coins. I will be using them again in the future and would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

Favorite pawn shop but also establishment in all of San Diego/north county. I had a stash of gold jewelry that I never wore and wanted to sell, and a friend of mine recommended taking it all to King's Pawn because they buy gold. I was so impressed with their level of customer service! They were so friendly and helpful, and there were even a few customers that came in who the employees knew by name. They also have an amazing selection of jewelry for sale! The jewelry they have is much more unique than what you find at big jewelry retail shops, and at a fraction of the price. Since I got such a great deal on the gold, I also bought myself the most beautiful vintage fire opal ring. Every time I wear it I get a compliment. I will definitely be going back whenever I feel like spoiling myself.

I had never been to a pawn shop before and I always thought it was like what you see in a movies, people trying to scam you or taking you for a schmuck like at a car dealership. It was completely the opposite of that. I brought in my jewelry and Paula, Ross, Pablo, and the owner Heidi gave me the best customer service I had ever received. I had some old jewelry that I no longer wear and broken gold chains to sell. I shopped a few different pawnshops in the area and Kings Pawn offered me the most money. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

The staff are so up beat and honest., gave me a honest evaluation & price on jewelry for a loan. Sent letter as a reminder of the due date and followed up with a call to avaoid default on the loan. They answered all my questions and gave suggestions to help determine the best pay off on the loan. Thank you so much for helping me in the time of need.

I should have known better.... All pawn shops are the same, especially if your selling something. If you plan to sell just be ready to be low balled to the fullest extent. I'm talking less than 25% of whatever the neighboring retail stores are selling the same identical item for. Even if your item is still fully sealed & brand new they will tell you it's a "used" item as soon as it leaves whatever store you purchased it from even if you never even opened it. It's super disrespectful & straight up predatory how they treat people who are obviously not in the best of situations financially for whatever reason. Ripping people off who clearly are hurting for some money is a super messed up business. So 25 years of this place purposely paying a fraction of any given items worth only to turn around and sell it for double or even triple of what they paid. I do understand that often times any item will sit on the shelves for any period of time so that should be accounted for whenever buying something from someone but not to the extreme extent that this pawn shop does every single time. For gods sake is it that hard to be somewhat fair....my word. Quit being so greedy and preying on the people who don't have many other options and maybe try to be reasonable. You would probably be surprised at how many people would bring you their business if they felt they were being respected.

King's pawn is a great pawn shop I've been to a few before and they were pretty good but this place is by far the best they have a great selection of things very fair prices and the employees there are excellent I would highly recommend this pawn shop

I love to buy vintage jewelry from yard sales and thrift stores, and sometimes I discover that I have something "real" that I don't necessarily want to keep. When I've gone to King's Pawn, they've been very nice about testing my jewelry, explaining the results, and then buying pieces from me. So far it's been really great dealing with them.

I have had two great experiences with King's Pawn. Their staff is friendly and accommodating. I think the guy that helped me was named Jose?? I forget but I do remember the great service. He even helped me out by adding an extra $5 to my sale which I greatly appreciated. Will definitely be going here for all my pawn needs!

I’ve been coming here since I’ve moved to California and all of the people here are very professional and friendly; willing to work with you on prices and does such in a timely manner!
