Jason and his team are amazing! We have worked with other agents but they were unable to assist with our unique situation - we did not have enough down payment and thought that we needed to sell our current home in order to purchase our new house. Jason was very patient - he and his team took the time to review all our documents and were able to get us to the “approved loan” step before we even shopped for houses. Our "approved loan" is different and a step up from the “pre-approval loan". Jason's team was able to retain our "approved loan" status throughout the long and stressful process of finding a home during the pandemic and with the competitive housing market. Our documents were updated regularly throughout the year we searched. Whenever we put in an offer, Jason and our realtor worked together to ensure our offer was competitive. We finally got an offer accepted even with multiple higher offers - ours was under asking price! This was largely in part due to the conversation the owner's realtor had with Jason to confirm our loan status. They were confident about our loan process and therefore accepted our offer. Jason was really helpful and took the time to walk me through the entire process, navigating the loan approval process and comparing different price/interest rate scenarios in a very challenging housing market. I feel incredibly lucky that Jason Gill was my loan agent. With his hard work and perseverance, I was able to close on my home in 2 weeks! When my realtor put in my offer, the seller's realtor called us to ask if we could really close that quickly, and Jason called to reassure her that we in fact could (and did!). We experienced some curve balls during the process, but Jason worked his a$$ off to make it happen, right before a holiday weekend no less! I can't say enough great things about Jason and his team. We first worked with Jason back in the fall of 2014, when we were purchasing our first home. Unfortunately, we were pressured into working with the seller's preferred lender instead. Even though we weren't financing through The Gill Group, Jason still helped us to ensure we were getting a good deal. A year or so later, interest rates were low and we were able to refinance into a much better loan with Jason's assistance. When interest rates fell again over the summer, we reached back out to Jason to refinance again. He is a great communicator and all around good guy. He sent us incredibly helpful charts to show us different options and exactly how much things would cost. Ultimately, we ended up with a plan that will save us a ton of money over the course of the loan. The whole process was seamless. On a personal note, I want to add that it's important to me to work with someone who actually cares when making such big decisions - every single year since 2014, my husband and I have received thoughtful birthday and holiday cards from Jason and his team. Jason was very hands on throughout this entire process and coached us the whole way through. My wife and I were first time home owners so this process was brand new to us, but he always took the time to answer our questions.
