I routinely refer to hiring Farnam as a property manager as “one of the best decisions I’ve ever made”. After a few years of self-managing a rental property in New Haven I hired Farnam and have never looked back! They are super responsive and do a great job finding tenants, making repairs, and addressing any other issues a landlord can run into. Simply the best team around.

My husband and I have been doing all of our own rentals for the past 28 years. We decided to hire the Farnam Realty Group to rent our units for us. Not only did they get my unit rented within a few days but they rented it for a wonderful amount! I want to thank them for always being so professional, hard working and finding the best fit for my building. If there was away to give 10 starts I would!

I worked with Alejandra and she was really good at understanding my wants/needs and consistently keeping me in mind for rentals that fit. I felt that she cared about my well-being and that made me feel secure in picking a place to live.

Attention all NEW renters. Good luck on getting anything fixed in a timely manner even if its no heat. They have taken over Ocean management and can not handle the work load. I have had 3 work orders in for over a week. NO ONE even calls to apologize or update you as to why nothing is being done. Multis and one family houses get over looked. And when they do "fix" please dont look for a professional job. The last man here a hole in my ceiling and put some screws to hold the tile that is still hanging! GOOD LUCK!!

Absolutely horrid customer service. New owners of the building and no one has spoken to a single human being. No answers, no emails, no concern. But the payment app is up and running just fine. They don't have any problems taking the rent every month. SlumbLords. DO NOT RENT from this company.

The lack of communication is brutal. I've been calling since before New Years eve to speak with someone regarding questions I have.. You'll get nothing but full voicemails. One girl that actually answered said " you still live in your apartment ? " ... excuse me ? .. I tried calling again and spoke with a guy who gave me someone else's phone number , so i call & text said person and got nothing.. Ive been patient long enough , email after email & and calls after calls.

Farnam seamlessly transitioned my for-sale house (with another agent) into a Rental and managed it beautifully. Great technology in house for managing cash flow, and Josh and Carol have been responsive always and invaluable for counsel on how to best manage my property. They've been polite, professional, and prompt in any issue that has come up. I really recommend Carol Lopez and Farnam for any real estate transaction in the greater New Haven area. I experienced nothing but friendliness and kindness with Farnam workers, but I had no idea that I was renting an apartment under OCEAN MANAGEMENT and they were finding residents through Farnam. If you're looking to rent through Farnam Realty, be sure that Ocean Management is NOT involved. Go on Ocean management's google reviews page as it speaks for itself. Just RUN. Update 8/4/21: ocean management's Google page has disappeared, but their company hasn't.

Carol Horsford, the owner of The Farnam Realty Group is super smart, very knowledgable about the local real estate market and has assemble a superb team in all areas she in involved in, sales, leasing and management and investments. She has an amazing eye for the potential in a real estate asset and she has the team to make it happen.

I had a great experience with Farman realty my realtor was Aly. She was very responsive, helpful, & most importantly very professional when it came to looking for an apartment. She made sure I got a great match. I would most definitely highly recommend her & be coming back if I ever plan on moving.

This is where you want to go if you’re looking for apartments in New Haven. I was able to get an incredible price on a 1 bedroom in East Rock. Rent prices in New Haven are absurdly expensive, Farnam offers reasonable pricing and excellent tenant service. Maintenance is always responsive and the property owner is excellent. No problems with any appliances and I have a gas stove, which in and of itself is an amazing addition to any apartment. When it’s all said and done I wouldn’t go to anyone else for apartment searches, Farnam checks all the boxes. 5/5 stars

This morning, without any notification, the lock on my apartment was changed. I've never missed a rent payment, never had problems in the apartment. When I walked over to the office, because their phone lines are never working, I was able to the get the new key after over 20 minuets. While in the office, I also over heard various realtors talking about paying $50 for 5 star reviews, something they had done in the past, as a way to increase their star rating. Well, when you lock your tenants out of their apartments, even as a mistake, you get 1 star reviews.

Great team of professionals. Carol and her associates helped us with several services and made it all streamlined and easy. Very knowledgeable and skilled. Best realtors we have worked with in the New Haven area. Highly recommend.

I lived in an apartment, managed by Farnam Really group in New Haven, Ct for many years, but when we moved out the management ignored our requests to return the security deposit. We called many times, they promised and did not send to us our check. Unfortunately.

I am renting a two-bedroom apartment from Farnam and my experience has been great. Farnam have a very convenient online property management system, which allows tenants to sign the lease, pay their rent or report problems all of this with just a few clicks. Repairs happen the same day and the handyman always kindly informs through text messages before going to the apartment and after completion of the work. Before the end of my lease, I emailed Farnam requesting an extension of my stay and again they responded very fast, trying their best to accommodate my request. The place is quiet and very well-maintained making it a great living place. They are on top of everything and are very respectful of my peace and privacy. Altogether, I always received an excellence and friendly service. I highly recommend Farnam as excellent and professional realtors to work with.
