Just came today for opening my checking account. All the staffs are very nice and welcoming. I like how they have a individual room to serve you so it would be more private. Thank you Israel for being so patient and spending time with me the whole time. He also provide me a number so I can contact to find his help all the time which my last bank never done that (It took me forever to call them and end up nobody answered the phone). I am very satisfied with the service. Thank you!

Joshua did an outstanding job helping me through the membership process. He was always in communication with me. He followed the entire process from beginning to end. I am very impressed with the level of professionalism and knowledge I was provided during my first hand experience with Texas Bay Area credit union. Every time I talk to the employees at Texas Bay Credit Union off Fuqua they are incredibly nice and helpful. Today, Alyssa helped me with an issue I had today regarding my account and she took care of my issue within minutes. I really appreciated her understanding and kindness. I’ve been with TX BAY for 7+ years, never had any issues and they’re amazing. Natalie was hands down the best. I called with an intent to refinance and she assisted me with selecting the best option for my situation to lower my overall monthly expenses. She listened, was patient and initiated a solution.

Chloe was very helping and meticulous in helping me with my transaction. She triple checked the transaction to make sure I didn't have any problems and verified with management to make sure all parties were all the same page. Thank you Chloe for your excellent service and attention to detail.

I just refinanced my car today and I had an amazing experience! Luis Barrera made everything so quick and easy for me to sign forms and provide forms via cell phone. He was very tentative with my application a got me a low arp and much lower payments!

Don't waste your time with this organization. I sent an inquiry re: home equity loan (request for contact) through their website - a week later, still no response (South Shore location). Scheduled a telephone meeting at 11am 6/27 - was informed through multiple email reminders that their representative would call my number. Never happened. Called the main number just now to speak to someone about these loans...waded through four layers of recording prompts, then was placed on hold with an estimated wait time of "less than one minute". Three minutes later the called was disconnected. Why would anyone put up with this? It's ironic that this CU touts it's superior customer reviews and high levels of service, but they had three separate chances to simply respond to me, using three different methods of contact, and they struck out. Don't believe Google reviews, folks! Response to business reply: You are incorrect. Originally I scheduled an in-person, in branch appointment for 12:30p at South Shore location. This appointment was canceled through YOUR SYSTEM on 6/26. The cancellation was confirmed through an auto-generated email. The telephone meeting described in my review (above) most certainly included a call back number. Seems more clear to me now that "listening" and "reading" are not valued employee qualities at TBCU. The other 1-star Google reviews suggest the same... And, why would I waste even more time calling or emailing someone on your staff when you've already displayed defensive tendencies toward my complaints, AND a distinct lack of basic communicative skills? How would I, as a consumer, benefit from this action?

This credit union is not even worth a 1 star rating, this place is horrible! They never do anything right, I always had to go back and sign something, or do this or that. It is absolutely ridiculous! I am so tired of the novice employees at the Fuqua location. They definitely need to be retrained. I am tired of all the mistakes, and I will be closing my account with them. They wasted too much of my time, and made too many mistakes. I hope this experience teaches them to value their customers. Please don't bother to contact me, because my decision is made. I will be leaving Texas Bay to bank with a better institution! Don't waste your time with them!

Amazing customer service! You have to ask for Paige Durham! I just moved here from out of state, and Paige welcomed me and helped me with so much patience at the Fuqua branch. She’s extremely helpful, thorough, responsive and truly cares about you and your financial goals. Aside from helping me with opening new accounts, she helped me plan out my credit and financial goals. I was only expecting to open accounts, and left with so much more. It’s like having a personal financial mentor who’s looking out for you- all this amazing help for just being a member. Also, management was so caring. I went in thinking they would close in an hour, but they were about to close and gave me an appointment right away anyway. They definitely go above and beyond. Happy to be a new member, and I’ve told my friends and family to join too!

Called about adding my cards to Apple Pay and make sure my cards are added to TBCU Card Control App. Alyssa was more than helpful on getting me setup with my Apple Pay and finding why my cards could not be added to the card control. It was a simple fix and now I am more than happy!!

Thanks for taking care of us during Covid. I meet Jeff and the rest of your teletellers as a result of the lobbies being closed. Jeff is a hoot, we always have a laugh when I speak to him and if I don't speak to him I ask the teller I am working with to throw something at him so he'll know I went through. All your teletellers are great! It's a better experience than the tube drive thru because I get the same teletellers wherever I am around town. Keep it up.

I called today about an issue I had been dealing with re: a Zelle transaction. The lady (name may have started with an S) went above and beyond to help me. I had previously called with no resolution, but she was able to walk me through what I needed to do. Can’t thank her enough!

Liberty and Erica did an absolute great job assisting me with being approved for a loan. 5 star service all the way around.

If 1/2 a star was a option it would be my choice to rate Texas Bay Credit Union. It is impossible to do business here as a business. There are NO Business loan products, no Zelle or electronic business pay system in place to pay Wires can take up to 5 business days to post and or process to outside banks. This bank is stuck in the 1980’s as the max transactions daily for business accounts are 2500.00 on a business debit card. Do not go here go to another credit union with more products to help small business become successful, you are wasting your time by going to this banking institution. To make things worst upon closing my account they couldn’t print the check because the printer wasn’t working…. Come folks get it together!

From Luis Barrera and his amazing communication with refinancing my car to the mortgage team including Logan, Adalia and the whole crew helping me with my new home loan. I couldn’t be happier! Just wanted to share my experience with loan officer Israel Pineda. I highly recommend for you to seek either credit cards, car loans or anything you might need through him. He is very genuine when it comes to helping out customers. I had the best experience with my car loan. He works at a very good pace and explains everything thoroughly. He answers all your questions and makes sure you understand everything. I’ve literally have NOT seen such AWESOME work ethic and customer service like Israel’s. I was very surprised on how Israel really tries his BEST to work with you regardless of your credit score. He explains the best options that work for you and it really does help. I’m very pleased with how much he appreciates what he does..Thanks Texas Bay for having such great employee. I’m definitely impressed and very happy y’all carry my car loan.

I ALWAYS contact Luis for any banking needs! If he is t the right person he can quickly get me to the right place. He is so super professional and one of the main reasons Texas Bay is still my bank, even though I live an hour and a half away! 10/10 recommend calling him for any banking info!

Had a question about making sure a charge would not come through after canceling a subscription. Chloe made sure about the proper procedure and advised what further actions I should take. Chloe was very friendly and helpful. Texas Bay CU is lucky to have her.

Be careful with this credit union, they are not honest and will lie to you. I refinanced my personal truck and took a loan out to purchase another one well everything went smooth until I picked up the new vehicle from the dealer ship. I picked up my new vehicle Friday after 5pm , I was told by the loan officer everything was approve I had a set apr and a set monthly payment. I was good to go on signing the paperwork at the dealer and taking the vehicle home that the credit union would email me the paperwork Monday since it was late already. I signed the paperwork at the dealer gave my down payment etc… Monday comes around and out of no where the loan officer calls me and tells me that they no longer can give me the rate I was promised & my new payment would go up almost $200 a month!! I called to speak with a manager and was told she was busy with another customer. So I waited 3 hours for a call back and nothing. I went ahead and called the call center and was told the manager for the location wasn’t even at work on Monday. Yes they lied! I waited for a call back them knowing a manager was not even there. I called the loan agent again and no answer. I had to leave work and lose 4 hours and go talk to them in person so they could fix it. I have never had a credit union change there terms after everything was approved.

My experience with the people at TBCU was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs. Luis Barrera was extremely helpful with my entire process over the past two days, assisting me with any questions and he made the whole process quick and efficient. I am very satisfied with my experience.

My Banker, Roxana Villalobos , was absolutely awesome. She handled my banking needs with confidence, knowledge, professionalism and in a timely manner. I will definitely keep her as my personal banker and do business with her on my team again. All 5 stars 🌟 to her.

Pretty standard credit union definitely three stars. I do enjoy the virtual tellers on saturdays. I’ve had some problems with getting call backs and follow up from within other departments. Five stars for Mr. Jeff at the fuqua location he’s always sweet, attentive, and fast. I’ve only gotten him virtually but, when he’s honestly my favorite teller to get. It’s always a good experience. If I could rate him separately I would!

Luis was very professional and really wanted to help with my loan. He kept me informed every step. When it was time to sign documents, he let me know when they were available for signatures. Luis is a TOP NOCH employee and deserves any raises or promotions due him.
