The tellers at this location are very complicated. I rather travel further to another location then to deal with this location. And this was my first time coming. It felt like they were running a background check just to make a car payment! Maybe it's just that area of the location......

I’ve never once found myself disappointed with the service or the employees of my local Telcomm Branch (Chestnut Exp. location). They continuously go out of their way to make sure my wife and I are always taken care of. Plus our Boxer “Mabel” absolutely loves the way all the tellers treat her in the drive-thru.

I guess I just dont know how overdraft protection works. I assumed overdraft protection meant that I wouldnt be able to overdraft. I went over on my account and they said well that's the overdraft protection. Getting charged 28$ for going negative is somehow helping my situation I guess. Theres no way they can put an alert on my account letting me know I'm about to go in the negative, they basically said it's my fault for not monitoring my account. This is why I hate banks.

    Response from the owner

Hi Alison, We’re sorry you had this experience. There is some confusion on the subject of overdraft protection, which is in place to keep customers from being denied goods/services even if they don’t have adequate funds in their account to pay for them. People may choose overdraft protection for a variety of reasons—to ensure they can get gas, food, or medicine even if there isn’t sufficient funds in their account, to avoid return-check charges from vendors (which can be exorbitant), or even to spare embarrassment of having a card declined. It is an optional feature that you can have deactivated upon request. Additionally, our online banking platform does allow you the option to establish low-balance alerts on any of your TCU accounts or subaccounts. These are set at the member’s discretion and by the account owner. While alerts will not prevent transactions from being processed if your account is equipped with overdraft protection, they will let you know when your balance dips below a threshold you set yourself. We welcome you to visit any TCU branch for more information on how to set this up to help prevent this from happening in the future. Thank you.

The tellers are always rude. I'm going to start using a different branch, even if it's further away. I've had this account for two years, and for two years, every single time I go, the staff is rude.

    Response from the owner
